Photos and Videos from April '08 - Uncle Mark's visit
In mid-April, we had our bathroom renovated. Serafina and Toby we're very curious to watch, so they set up chairs:
On April 18, my brother Mark came to visit. The kids were excited to see him, and tried on his glasses in the car:
The next morning, we went to the farmer's market at the Ferry Building, where Toby enjoyed watching guitar and getting a few strums in:

On Saturday night the 19th we hosted a Passover seder with several friends. I had been sick early in the week with possible appendicitis, but got better. However, I started to feel sick again before the seder. I didn't feel so horrible, so I waited until the seder was over, then Mark took me to the emergency room. I stayed at the hospital that night, and had my appendix out the next morning. It went fine, and I was back home Monday morning, just before Mark left for the airport. So Mark and I didn't get so much time together, but he was able to help out with the kids and have time with them. Here's a photo he took of Serafina at swim class:
Later in the month, Serafina and Toby gave a dance performance at home, and I finally got the video settings right so I could get small enough videos to post on the web:
