Geoff - Our first trip to South America. Craig and I fit planning for this trip in between planning for all the many things going on in our lives - as many of you know we are working towards adopting a child. Also, I have been running a nonprofit agency since last March and keeping it alive in this economy has meant many long hours. Needless to say we did our research and planned this trip with less energy than others.
Overall we saw some amazing things and enjoyed our time. In general I wanted to enjoy the beach more and Craig wanted to explore Brazil more but I don't regret that true to form we ran around exploring more than resting.
The next series of pages will take you through our trip with many photos. We didn't take as many in Rio because of the safety issue of carrying around a camera. The last page has our general impressions of Brazil and of each area.
