Upon entering the cabin, you’re greeted by a stylish open-plan kitchen and living area, where warm wood paneling and expansive windows frame peaceful forest views. The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with high-end appliances, a custom backsplash, and a deep purple farmhouse sink that adds a bold, artistic touch. Just off the kitchen, a charming dining table for two and a cozy daybed create the perfect spots to enjoy a meal or relax while soaking in the tranquil surroundings.

The restful bedroom features a queen bed and an electric fireplace to create a cozy, intimate ambiance. With direct access to the screened porch, you can step out for a morning coffee or take in the soothing sounds of nature at any time of day. The sunroom offers year-round enjoyment with its bright and airy design. The house has an internet connection and moderate cell service with AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. The Berkshires is full of cellular dead zones, so we recommend downloading the region’s online maps to your device prior to arrival or any day while you’re here at the cabin.

Cosmo Cabin is 1 mile from the Mill River General Store; filled with local food, produce and staples. It is also close to Sheffield and Great Barrington which have several grocery stores, outstanding restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, yoga and more. You’re close to many hiking trails, skiing, arts and cultural institutions. There is a half mile hiking trail on the 72 acres. Its entrance is behind the cottage and the trail is marked with blue dots on the trees. With Umpachene Falls and Lake Garfield around the corner, bringing swimsuits in the summer is a must.

Cosmo Cabin is about 3 hours from New York City, and you'll definitely want a car to get there and around the area.
In the winter, we recommend a car with four-wheel drive that can handle the snow and gravel roads.
