• This is a 3-story home and the lower level is a garden apartment with a separate entrance. This listing is for the lower-level garden apartment. The owners use the upper levels when they are not traveling. If that is the case, we do everything to respect our guest’s privacy.
• This unit includes a kitchenette. It does not include a large kitchen.
• It is the responsibility of the Guests to be up to date on the latest COVID requirements, and supply the necessary information/certificates to the Host. Any information that we are supplying is as a courtesy only.
• Guests will be charged for any additional cleaning, repairs, and maintenance to the listing. This can include, but is not limited to, the hot tub, interior, exterior, etc.

A nice individual condo under the main house, perfect for a trip with friends to one of the nearby mountains. Incredible views from either your room or the hot tub.
Gordon is also a great host – very friendly and happy to give recommendations.

We had a nice stay at Gordon’s, it was exactly as described, my only issue was you can hear people walking around upstairs which is a shame.
We are on a trip from Australia and have been using Air b and b and found Gordon’s place one of our top stays.

This was our first time using airbnb so we didn’t know what to expect, but this was a fantastic experience. The property was as beautiful as advertised and Gordon was very responsive. It was a pleasant surprise for my wife and me to check in and find wine and flowers and a note of congratulations on our recent marriage. We’ll always have fond memories of our visit to Stowe, VT, friendly people everywhere and an excellent host making our stay so comfortable.

The Home

Our typical guests like to dine out and spend their time enjoying the many daytime activities that Vermont has to offer. They often relax in the 8’ x 8’ hot tub after a fun day of touring, and before going out to dinner. Of course, they also enjoy the hot tub after dinner as well.

This listing is for the lower level of the home. This is a 3-story home and the lower level is yours with a separate entrance We use the upper levels when not traveling. If that is the case, we do everything to respect our guest's privacy.

•Two bedrooms, one king and one queen. There are two Pillow-top Euro Loungers that fold out to comfortable beds similar to Full XL beds, 80.3" L x 50" D, in the family room.
•Full bath
•Kitchenette / Bar Area. The bar seats 4 with a bar sink, mini-freezer, coffee machine, toaster, dishes, and utensils. Our guests typically dine out, and we recently added the Kitchenette as a backup option to cover cooking basics for occasional use. It contains a Microwave/ Convection Oven combo, a 2 burner induction cooktop, and a refrigerator.
•Large 8’ x 8’ outdoor hot tub.
•Large Pond. See pond info below.
•Fire bowl and outdoor chairs. Seasonal
•Private Entrance

The rooms look out towards Stowe Mountain (Mount Mansfield), and you have direct access to the backyard, hot tub, and pond. There is a full bath, family room, kitchenette, bar, Smart TV, and WiFi. One room has a King bed and the other has a Queen bed. There is a desk and plenty of drawer and closet space. If you would like to add more people, the family room has two Pillow-top Euro Loungers that fold out to comfortable beds similar to Full XL beds, 80.3" L x 50" D.

The pond is available subject to weather and safety conditions. You can swim in the pond. There are no lifeguards on duty. Use of the hot tub, pond, and the surrounding area is at your own risk.

Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall, it is always beautiful in Stowe and there is something to do for everyone. Whether you like to ski, bike, hike, or take it easy at the spa and do a little shopping or enjoy one of the cultural events, art shows, performances, etc., Stowe has it all!

PLEASE NOTE: By booking this property, you are agreeing to:
- The House Rules; AND
- We do not accept cancelations due to Stowe Mountain ticket availability or regional storms. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for requests to cancel that fall outside of our cancellation policy as stated in our renters agreement.
- Please note that we do require a separate signed renters agreement and security deposit. This is in compliance with Airbnb policies as we use Property Management System, OwnerRes, that is fully integrated with Airbnb. Please also see the house rules for details.

Notes

The hot tub is located about 20' from the entrance so we recommend bringing flip flops or sandals, a bathrobe and /or beach towel.

Neighborhood

Located at the top of a hill on a private drive with 2 other homes. It is a quiet neighborhood.

Getting Around

Located 5 minutes from the Stowe Village and 18 minutes from Stowe Mountain Resort by car. Plenty of parking.

The Airbnb is located on a private drive, which is a sloped gravel road. This is typical for the area. Please drive slowly, especially in winter. Snow tires are recommended in winter. Four-wheel drive is also helpful as well as winter driving experience.

Access

Guests have access to level one of the home with a private entrance. They also have access to the hot tub, pond, lawn chairs, and fire bowl.
