Crystal Lake Wild Forest – This pristine 497-acre forest includes a 32-acre man-made lake that offers visitors hiking, biking, hunting and other recreational opportunities. Their site doesn’t mention swimming, but we have it on good authority it’s a great spot for it – Fremont
Bridle Hill Farm – Popular place for year-round riding lessons or trail rides – Jeffersonville
Bethel Woods Center for the Arts – Located on the site of the famous 1969 Woodstock concert, this is one of the outstanding features of Sullivan County. Bethel Woods is an exquisite outdoor concert venue with spectacular farmland views, as well as a museum dedicated to the concert – Bethel
Trail Keeper – This is our go-to resource for hiking recommendations in the area – Jeffersonville/Callicoon/North Branch
Stone Arch Bridge Park – A scenic three arched stone bridge is the centerpiece of this 20 acre park. Visitors can fish in the East Branch of the Callicoon Creek or take a walk along the Worthington or Bridge trails. There is a playground and picnic area – Jeffersonville
