We had such a wonderful stay at this cottage! The space was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. The peaceful atmosphere and charming details made our trip so relaxing. The host was kind, responsive, and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. Cottage was very close to HITS horse shows which is why we were in town. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway!

The loft space was perfect for reading and Pilates, and my husband was excited that the cottage had a Peloton. We’re also big on cooking and appreciated the well stocked kitchen, and it was nice that the town is about a 10 min drive had a ton of cafe and restaurant options.
Great option for families – Our kids played board games (the house had a great selection) and enjoyed the playground just a 5 min walk away, along with the gorgeous forest grounds surrounding the lake. We played a lot of catch and frisbee and were it not for the rain we would have taken out the cottage’s kayaks.

We had a great stay (two families with 10 people). Even though it was rainy almost the entire weekend, the house was a comfortable home base and we made the best of it with outings to places like Howe Caverns (highly recommended). The hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth and stress-free.
The location of this unit is unparalleled! We were right on the bike path, about a half mile walk from the center of town and about a mile and a half walk from Alchemist. The unit is next to the movie theater, several restaurants, and our favorite bagel place. But it’s also quiet, private, with plenty of room for us. We did have an issue with the furness, but management was quick to remedy the situation and even stopped by to make sure everything was ok. Great customer service!
We came to Roscoe to stay near a friends place. The red cottage was a 2 minute drive and 10 minute walk, which is exactly what we wanted. We plan to rent the cottage again and have more people stay with us. It’s set up great for families or a group of friends. It has everything you need for a rural weekend stay. Very clean and really communicative hosts.
The home was great. It really can accommodate all the people it says it can. I feel like it is one of the few places that actually holds everyone it says it does. There were more than enough beds, towels, dishes, etc for everyone. We pushed the two long tables together and fit our entire group to a single dinner. We didn’t explore the town at all, but we didn’t need to with the lake right there. It’s not the 4 Seasons, so don’t expect luxury or beautiful design – but if you’re looking for a big place that will fit your group and give you direct access to the water, this is a fantastic option. The renters were very eager and quick to help. I couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Thanks, Red Cottage!
Beautiful, clean home on incredible ground. Perfect for our weekend trip with several families and children. We spent a lot of time in the theater room as it was a rainy weekend and it was an A+++. Red cottage was extremely helpful and accommodating when we had a small issue with the pool. I would book this house again in a heartbeat.
We had a great time with our group here. the place was spacious and perfect for a relaxing few days away from the city. it is 15 mins to any stores/town so it is quiet and you do need a car. The couch was huge deck and hot tub were lovely and hosts were quick to respond. Kitchen has a lot of stuff to use and they werent cheap with toiletries/paper towels etc. Very thoughtful!
We absolutely loved our stay at Wildewood. The house is beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with the perfect combination of modern comfort and cozy mountain charm. It was ideal for our family, with plenty of room for everyone to relax, a wonderful kitchen and dining area, and great spaces for the kids to enjoy, especially the den and home theater. The location in Stowe is fantastic—quiet and peaceful, yet very convenient to the mountain and everything the area has to offer. The house was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped, with so many thoughtful details that made our stay easy and enjoyable. We especially loved the fireplace, in home movie theater, the outdoor areas, and the overall warm and welcoming feel of the home.
We would highly recommend Wildewood to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing stay in Stowe. We would be very happy to come back!

This is a fantastic rental property. Great for groups or families. We went for Memorial Day weekend and, though it rained for much of our stay, there was plenty to do: the house has an incredible movie theater, downstairs bar, video games, and exercise equipment. The bedrooms are all well proportioned and private, and there is even a room with four bunk beds on the lower level for kids. The quality of the furnishings and decor is top notch, and the pool is beautiful with the most incredible view of the river. Lastly, there are a handful of wonderful restaurants without a quick driving distance, though the kitchen itself is also great for cooking. Highly recommend this property – it is top tier.
Loved Artists Edge. We were there on a rainy weekend and enjoyed having such interesting reading available and the home gym was great. Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. Outdoor deck and fireplace area was nice for the one night we got to use. Red Cottage staff was very responsive to a minor issue which was resolved easily and quickly.
My husband and I have stayed in a few tiny homes and this one is the cutest yet! It felt surprisingly spacious for the size and the layout was really well thought out. The TV being tucked into one of the loft spaces added to the charm and made it feel extra cozy, rather than a downside. That said, if climbing loft stairs is a challenge for you, it is worth keeping in mind.

The sulfur smell in the water is real but we came prepared with our own jug and it worked out perfectly. The odor faded after the first day or two.
The hosts were communicative and friendly throughout our stay. We would love to come back!

The house had everything we needed for our stay – including lots of toys for the kids. The living room is epic for lounging and the open kitchen was great for mealtime. Highly recommend and would absolutely come back!

Crossbridge was the perfect place for our family to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday. The property is even more beautiful than the photos, with a wonderful blend of vintage charm, unique architecture, and modern comforts.

The house was well situated, nicely decorated and cleaned and the hosts were very responsive to our multiple inquiries upon our arrival. The deck was wonderful for outdoor dining and we enjoyed running around in the spacious yard with our toddler and listening to the sing songs of the birds and frogs.
