Definitely one of the best Airbnbs I have ever been to! It’s so beautifully furnished and decorated and has everything you need (even more than that) — very thoughtful! During wintertime, the surroundings look like a little white wonderland and are perfect for walks in the snow. During the night, one can stargaze in the hotpot thanks to the low light pollution. 10/10, would recommend!
We enjoyed a relaxing weekend in Great Barrington at this great house. We loved walking a few minutes into town for coffee from our choice of cafes and appreciated how many shops and restaurants we could access without needing to drive. The house was comfortable and clean and the kids loved playing in the big backyard while the snow was coming down – a quintessential Western MA experience!
We had an amazing stay at the house! It was spacious and cozy at the same time and had everything we needed for our stay. The children really appreciated having all the puzzles and board games that kept them busy during the day and in the evening while we were relaxing by the fireplace. The host was very helpful and responsive. The check in and check out process were smooth. Will definitely be back again!
My friends and I go on 2 trips upstate a year and we all agreed that this space was the best one we have ever stayed in. It was so thoughtfully stocked and laid out. Everything was labelled clearly and all instructions sent were on point and helpful. I can’t say enough nice things about Casa Magda, would 100% come back.
We really enjoyed our stay at this Bethel Woods residence! It was an incredibly peaceful and entirely quiet property that is perfect for a city escape. The kitchen was well stocked and great for cooking nightly, and the convenience of wonderful farm shops and specialty grocers in Jeffersonville, Livingston Manor, and Callicoon is unmatched. A very enjoyable stay with our two pups.
Just as described. We arrived at night so the drive was a bit hard to see but its right where google maps shows it. Bad cell reception but fast wifi. The design of the space has all of the cabin charm without feeling old or musty. Great fireplace with lots of wood. The host got back to me quickly when i had questions prior to check in. There were great instructions at the house so i didnt have any questions throughout the stay. The kitchen is simply but sufficiently appointed so if you need something specific, bring it. Great bathroom with good products. The sauna puts this place over the top. Beautiful weekend get away only wish we could have stayed longer.
This was the second Red Cottage property I visited with a large group, and once again, it was a fantastic experience. The home was beautifully maintained, well-stocked, and perfectly suited for a group getaway.

I had a fantastic long weekend at The Rye House! The setting was serene, with deer and even coyotes making occasional appearances—such a unique experience. Cozying up by the fireplace made the stay even more enjoyable. It was truly the perfect escape for relaxation. I also appreciate how responsive the hosts are. I will definitely be back!
This house was even more beautiful than the photos. I came to stay at the barn with a group of 7 other friends. We had a beautiful and restful time. The kitchen was fully stocked and we hardly left the property all weekend because we wanted to make the most of the house. Truly spectacular and comfortable. We want to come here again next year. Thank you to the team for being so easy to work with. There was great communication. It’s not everyday that you are surprised in such a positive way by something that you find online.
