We had a lovely week at Hidden Pond and relaxed to the sounds of a babbling creek and chirping birds. The hot tub was a great perk on some colder evenings as was the nice fireplace in the living room. Short little hikes around the pond and into the back of the property was perfect for our dog. Driving along the Roundabout Reservoir into the local towns of Kerhonksen, Accord and Warwarsing for food supplies was easy and didn’t take too long. All in all, a nice home, pretty property and welcome respite from New York City.
We recently stayed at the Chalet and it was a wonderful experience. The house itself was cozy and spacious, with a nice backyard including a hot tub. A large deck to relax on and enjoy a cup of coffee. The living room has comfortable seating, a fireplace that made evenings relaxing, and a comfy layout that made it easy for everyone to gather. The tv has all the channels you need and a few board games as well. The kitchen was fully equipped making it simple to prepare meals and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were also well-maintained and stocked with essentials, which was nice. One of the best parts of the property was its location. It felt secluded and peaceful, yet it was still a short drive in to town, local restaurants and Stowe mountain resort. Also, down the road there is a take out Chinese food which was pretty good! Overall, it’s an excellent choice for families or groups looking to stay in a comfortable and inviting setting.
This space is really beautiful. You can tell the homeowner created it as a truly special project. The home itself is renovated beautifully and it has gorgeous furniture and everything you could want in the kitchen’s bathrooms and deck. It has an amazing fire pit outside and a great hot tub. The projector room is really fun to watch movies. And they have every little thing you could need. I will say it’s the nicest place. We have stayed in terms of their design and interior. Highly recommend and the host was the most responsive we have brought with. They respond in minutes and are very easy to work with.
This is a magical property…the view, the beautiful interior design, the artwork and attention to detail. We feel lucky to have stayed there.
Awesome spot in the Stowe area with a great view over to Mount Mansfield (on a clear day). Comfortably slept our group of 8. Game room in the basement and the hot tub kept our kids (ages 16 down to 11) entertained every night. Close to Stowe Mountain Resort. Great deck for star-gazing at night. Owners were very responsive when we had needs or questions. Great stay overall!
We enjoyed our stay at Nordic Cabin in Chatham. Mid century design with some updates, nice choice of furniture, and well supplied. Beds were comfortable, space was clean, nice landscape around the house, and the kids played endlessly in the woods & treehouse. We had some nice spring weather and took advantage of the fire pit & BBQ.
We did not know about the train passing by the house, however we have a son with an obsession, so for us it was a bonus. Others with sensitive sleep may want to take advantage of the white noise machines in the bedrooms.
Overall nice stay and would recommend.

Exceeded our expectations in every way. The property was not only beautiful but also clean, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing family trip. My kids had an amazing time Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and stress-free getaway, we would definitely love to come back!
One of my favorite Airbnb stays so far. The home is incredibly relaxing—modern and new, yet still cozy and charming. The master bed is huge, and I got some of the best sleep I’ve had in a while thanks to how quiet and dark it is at night. The backyard is also lovely, with a peaceful pond that’s perfect for unwinding. Overall, a great stay. I’d definitely come back!
This is an ideal location if you want to explore the lovely town of Great Barrington. House was very nice, had everything we needed and we parked when we arrived and didn’t touch our cars until we left- completely walkable to all the great shops and restaurants in town. It was the perfect spot for a girls weekend!
I know the area well and needed to return for a family funeral. The Barn was exactly what we needed for my kids and grandkids to attend. There is tons of space along with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The Barn is well stocked with both convenient household items in the kitchen and extra linen/towels. It’s very clean and the communication with the host was great. We would definitely stay there again!!
We had a fantastic stay at this Cornwall home during our USMA visit. The location couldn’t have been better—just 10-15 min from the school, which made getting back and forth incredibly easy.

This is one of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in. The location, the house, the decor, the garden, and the mountain view made this place perfect for a quiet, peaceful getaway. The house, especially the sunroom, gets a ton of natural sunlight. The host is prompt, responsive, and flexible with check-out time.
Minnewaska and Mohonk are within a 30-minute drive, and there are many outdoor breweries and orchards with fun activities for the kids.

The little river cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway at the base of the Catskills. It’s situated within easy driving distance of a several towns, but remote enough to be able to disconnect. The cottage also matches up perfectly to its description and photos, with a modern interior and amazing tranquility with the outdoor amenities. Looking forward the next stay!
This was about our 7th time staying at a Red Cottage over the past 5 years, and we’ve overall had great experiences. This particular house, Fern Hollow, is our favorite so far. This was our third time staying there. That said, there was a minor issue with what seemed to be a defective glass pane on the fireplace that shattered overnight after just our first tonight. So, unfortunately we lost use of the fireplace for the remainder of our stay. It was also unseasonably cold so we would have really enjoyed having it…
Other than that, this home is maintained impeccably and is a perfect size for us.
I highly recommend Mountain Pines for a getaway of any length of time in Stowe. We stayed with a kiddo, dog and in-laws and we could have fit another couple of people. The views were amazing! The location is a perfect distance to Waterbury, downtown Stowe and a drive through Moscow to the mountain. Jen was super accommodating and responsive. We will most certainly return. And holy cow, the hot tub!!! Don’t question it, just book it!
