The standard cancellation policy varies by length of stay.
For Stays Under 30 Nights:
- 30 days: For bookings canceled up to 30 days prior to arrival, we’ll refund the full nightly rate and all fees (except for the booking fee).
- < 30 days: If a guest cancels less than 30 days in advance, the nights are non-refundable.
Long-Term Cancellation Policy:
- For Stays of 30 Nights or More > 60 days: For bookings canceled up to 60 days prior to arrival, we’ll refund the full nightly rate and all fees (except for the booking fee).
- < 60 days: If a guest cancels less than 60 days in advance, the nights are non-refundable.
The rental rate for an early departure is non-refundable. A cancellation at any point prior to arrival may receive a refund for pet fees and cleaning fees.
Power outages are known to happen across the region, especially during inclement weather conditions.
Should the home that you have booked lose power before your arrival we will kindly ask to delay your arrival until the house has regained power, and you will be refunded for any nights lost.
If the home you are occupying loses power while you are onsite, please contact Red Cottage immediately so we can assist you. Please note that not all homes have generators.
If the power outage leads you to end your stay early, you may be eligible for a refund for the unused portion of your reservation.
