If you’re looking for that rustic Vermont charm, the knole house will meet those needs. No frills with ample of wood and antiques. It was easy to find, right off the road, in an area with little to no mobile signal. The house was stocked with spices and a kitchen full of modern appliances for some much needed cooking as there aren’t many restaurants in the area. We had to bring our own firewood but all paper and hygiene products were provided. It was very quiet and relaxing while the security system provided peace of mind. It was thoughtful of the host to provide space heaters that help kept us toasty on cold nights.
