Lauren and Chris’s place was magnificent! The town of Jamaica, Vermont is quaint and charming. It’s a scenic, 4.5 hour drive from Brooklyn. The Green Mountain Modern House, is directly across from a stream with rocks. It’s quiet and peaceful. The house was spacious enough for 6 people and a dog. The top floor has two comfortable bedrooms that share a bathroom with shower and tub. The third bedroom has a bit more rustic cabin feel. It’s in the basement (which has an another exit) and ideal for dogs. We primarily all hung out in the open concept kitchen and living room. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the culinary needs. “D& K’s Grocery” store about a 5 minute drive from the house. It has everything you can imagine, from freshly baked pies to local cheese’s and meats. At night, the outdoor fire pit was an enjoyable place to sit around and gaze at the stars. I’m already thinking about when we can get back to Vermont and stay again. Thank you, Lauren + Chris.
