Me and six friends came to Casa Magda for a screenwriting and music retreat and to celebrate a dear one’s birthday and it was everything we dreamed. We had one of the best three days of our year here, and all of us wished for an extra day by the end. We utilized all the offerings of the house: enjoying the the masterful design & furniture of each room, gathering around the campfire, fire place, upstairs film screening loft, huge living room, and used the huge table to make family dinners and also to work on our scripts. One of the most beautiful parts of our visit was climbing this waterfall at Kaaterskills which was way more epic and beautiful than advertised. The stay was so lovely that two friends from different friend groups even started dating during this trip. Casa Magda and it’s surroundings were so cinematic that romantic things happened and stars aligned. The space deepened my friendships with all who came. Would totally stay again. Tiff made sure we were well taken care of.
