Someone with a designer’s eye pulled this place together. It has modern amenities and comfortable, midcentury-modern decor inside the box of a charming pre-war home. Very cool. By day it’s a sunny space; at night you can turn on the fireplace inside or make a fire in the firepit outside (it’s right off the side deck). The place was spotlessly clean and we loved the king bed in the master bedroom. The hip little town–Livingston Manor, with its markets, brewpubs and restaurants–is a five-minute drive away. Perfect fall getaway! We’ll be back.
