The green mountain modern home is every bit as nice as the photos show. Modern, comfortable, and relaxing. The amenities were great, as was communication and support from the owners. For a dog-friendly home, it was very clean and furnishings were nice.
We enjoyed exploring and splashing around in Ball Mountain Brook across the road, and venturing up the road to the falls. In winter, I’d imagine it’s proximity to Stratton Mtn is fantastic (close enough to be there in 15 min, far enough to have a little quiet space).
It’s an easy bike ride to the very small town of Jamaica, or a little farther drive to Rawsonville (small store and restaurant in each). Note – neither have a sizeable grocery store though, so if you are preparing for an extended stay and like to cook, I’d recommend stopping for supplies on the drive in.
