The Green Mountain Modern House was EVERYTHING we hoped for in a Vermont retreat! The home is just as beautiful as in the photos — we could hardly tear ourselves away even to explore the beautiful area. The open living space is perfect for a group of friends or family to lounge, cook, play games (included in the house! :)), watch TV, everything. Lots of great games in the basement as well, and the grill outside — really you could spend so much time there and never want to leave.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were well-stocked, convenient, clean, with great high quality appliances. All the amenities were wonderful, from the great bath products to the sauna, Jacuzzi tub, fluffy white towels, etc. We had no needs that weren’t provided for.
Lauren and Chris were very responsive and helpful, and provide both a guide to the house, as well as manuals for the appliances in the kitchen. We had plenty of suggestions for things to do in the area, and particularly loved D&K’s grocery store (you HAVE to try one of their homemade pies!!) and the tips that we got from Karen.
