Unbelievably Relaxing Getaway

Privacy, seclusion, beautiful accomodations, fresh mountain air … this country retreat has it all. I live a stressful life in New York City, and retreats to this property on Doodletown Road provided precisely the kind of soul-soothing relaxation I was looking for — just a short drive from NYC or Boston. I enjoyed hiking the trails, kayaking around the pond and shooting late-night billiards with some fellow friends. The owner and caretaker were totally hands-off, allowing our party to settle in, relax and feel like we were at home … and not on some sterile, hotel room vacation. If I can’t make it back up to see the autumn leaves changing, I’m hoping to convince my girlfriend and our friends to head back up for some winter snowshoeing around this fantastic property.
