We enjoyed our stay at the Green Mountain Modern House. The home was very comfortable and cozy (our stay was during the winter and it was cold out!). The kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils and pots and pans. The beds were extremely comfortable. The big screen TV’s were also great. The open floor plan allows family members to be in the same space, but not feel crowded. The home is very close to Jamaica, VT and in the town a few things we enjoyed were: D&K Store, Change Yoga (hot yoga) and the Workhorse Cafe. There wasn’t much snow during our stay, so we didn’t get to snowboard as much as we would have liked. However, we did spend a day at Stratton and a day at Mount Snow snowboarding. We explored Manchester where we would highly recommend the Northshire Book Store. The Stratton Escape Room was a fun family activity. We recommend the Solo Farm & Table restaurant for dinner (suggest making reservations). We hiked along the river at the Jamaica State Park which was a beautiful trail (though somewhat icy due to the weather).
