We had such a lovely stay!!! The place was SO cozy and nicely decorated, with plenty of room. The hot tub was high quality and had awesome colorful lights on the bottom – well worth the extra fee to use it . The kitchen had some pots, pans, spices and basics like oil to cook with, and they also had some board games. They made an excellent guide to the area that was SUCH a great resource that we used it several times. It covered grocery stores, restaurants, activities, and anything else you would need!
Location is great. Small town feel in a gorgeous landscape. In early November, the foliage was starting to fade but still gorgeous. It’s also very close to the Green Mountain National Forest for hikers.
Some tips in the area – there was a great and big grocery store 5 minutes down the road (it’s in the guide). There’s a great corner deli called the Corner Market & Deli in South Londonderry. Fantastic sandwiches, mac & cheese, and coffee. Also great maple lattes as the Ungrounded Coffee Roasters in South Londonderry. We hit up the Blue Benn diner on the way home, which is in Bennington about 40 min south.
We brought a dog, so please note there is a fee for pets.
