What a great time we had at the Green Mountain

What a great time we had at the Green Mountain Modern House. We took advantage of the top notch kitchen appliances and made dinner each night. The big windows are just absolutely stunning. The river alongside was so loud at night, which is something I absolutely loved about this place. We came from NYC and hit a bunch of nearby towns around the area of Jamaica to allow us to experience the “VT lifestyle”. It was refreshing to say the least. We checked out the fire tower in Molly Stark State Park, and as you drive along RT 9 you pass Hogback Mountain which had nice views. We then headed into Brattleboro town, where we spent a good amount of time in The Grafton Cheese Shop. YUM. We heard about Madame Sherri’s Forest in Hinsdale NH and checked out the ruins there. Really neat. On our way to check in to The Green Mountain Modern House we also stopped along route in Townshend, VT to check out the Dam and Scott Bridge. What I mean here (lol) is that the location is great; there is plenty to do nearby. Very close to Stratton Mt as stated. Worth the 4 hour drive from NY for sure. Will be staying again!
