We loved our stay at the cabin! There are so many thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home, from the cute decor to the relaxing fragrances throughout each room to the high-end toiletries provided. Check-in and check out was seamless and the hosts were very communicative. We didn’t actually cook, but the newly renovated kitchen seemed fully stocked with all the equipment and tools you would need. Everything was clean and pretty much exactly as they appear in the pics. What a great find — would def recommend!
We stayed with a few friends for a nice weekend of hiking with our dogs. The backyard fenced area was perfect for allowing the pups to play and get tired out before coming back inside. Perfect location for Okemo mountain and neighboring ski resorts/towns. Everything in the rental was extremely clean and the house had all of the necessary kitchen utensils for cooking at home. The only misleading thing about the listing was that the guestbook said the fireplace inside was off-limits.
Great place to get away and relax! The cathedral windows in the main room and the front patio offer stunning afternoon sun and sunsets as you relax with your favorite beverage or prepare dinner. Sitting by the fire pit listening to the sound of the river with millions of stars above in the evening is tranquil and a world unto its self. By day, the location offers a lot of activities close by. The Google map provided by the Host showing what is available nearby is very helpful. I also recommend visiting The Lincoln Family Home in Manchester. The Host communication is timely, very responsive, and right amount. You have a sense the Host is available if you have any questions. The check-in/out information and instructions are clear and easy.
This place was amazing! The cutest tiny house with a beautiful view! The hosts have thought of every little detail. We loved having the fire pit and the fact that the house is dog friendly. The hosts give you a bunch of suggestions of things to do in the area which were all great places. Plus you’re just 30 minutes from Freeport! Only wish we could have stayed longer.
Had an awesome stay at the tiny house. We went up there to relax and do a little hiking. It is conveniently located to several different trails. Check in was a breeze and the place is as pictured, and all the essentials are provided. The view from the little patio does face a main road, but it hidden for the most part. You will hear cars every so often, but as the sun goes down you begin to feel like you are tucked away in your own little place. Overall great experience.
Amazing getaway spot! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Clementine Creekhouse. The house is well curated, with thoughtful touches and details throughout. The amenities are all top notch, with plush bathroom towels and soft comfortable beds. The house is airy and spacious; perfect for families and larger groups. In addition to the house itself, the property, creek, and screened porch create great spaces for enjoying the outdoors. Highly recommended!
We came up from NYC for a long weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better experience at the Darby House! We stayed in the downstairs bedroom and the bed/linens were very comfortable. Everything in the house felt super clean and well taken care of. The deck is perfect, and we utilized the fire pit twice. It was such a nice end to our nights. The kitchen has everything you could need to make meals, but we would recommend doing just one grocery trip for your whole stay as the drive up is quite windy and pretty far to groceries/etc. The driveway up to the house is a little tricky to navigate in the dark and might be a little better with an SUV or crossover, but we managed just fine. I would definitely recommend checking out the highlights on the Darby House Instagram page for ideas on things to do in the area. Absolutely loved the Berryville Farmer’s Market. All of that said, this house is a dream and perfect for a getaway within driving distance of NYC.
Jen’s place is fantastic. SO well located – minutes from the adorable historic Stowe town, the beautiful recreation path and not far from the mountain. We were there in the summer with lots of great hiking and even took the gondola up the mountain which our kids loved. The kitchen at the house is SUPER well stocked – with everything a chef would want. Jen is also super responsive and so helpful – with great recommendations, and clearly lovingly cares for this house.
If you’re thinking about booking this house, book it! We loved it.

Tiffany’s place was the perfect location for a weekend getaway with friends. It’s beautifully furnished, the projector loft is incredible, awesome sound system throughout the house, the fire pit and space outside is great and the kitchen is really well stocked with appliances and utensils for cooking too. Great weekend all round!
Me and a group of friends stood at this place for a event that took place on stratton mountain and the location was perfect for us. Market and places to eat were within 5 minutes.The communication with the hosts was great and they were very helpful. The place itself was perfect for us and the extra amenities were a added on bonus. A friend left an item behind and they were kind enough to ship it to us back very quickly..Looking forward to coming back next year. Overall would recommend this place to anyone interested.
This property was everything I could have asked for and more for my wedding weekend! A perfect stay for myself, and my bridesmaids. Everything was top tier, beautiful design, and the house was impeccably clean. Thank you so much for contributing to this weekend with this beautiful house, my now husband! We enjoyed our stay at the copper hill house. Great location to the town of Ludlow with lots of things to do, wonderful hiking trails nearby and a very dog friendly atmosphere. We were bummed to find out the wood stove that is shown in the listing is not for guest use, but we were able to utilize the outdoor fire pit. A great time and place to refresh and recharge! We will be back!
Our weekend stay at Silver Ridge was perfect.
From the views of the mountains to the well stocked (great pans! sharp knives! two ovens!) kitchen, Silver Ridge did not disappoint. There was only the two of us, but the house is wonderfully set up for multiple couples and/or families with kids (a closet full of games and toys!).
The house is located conveniently close to the Taconic (for ease of travel to NYC or elsewhere) and to Great Barrington for all your cute NE town needs. We took full advantage of being in the mountains and near the AT. Plenty of outdoor adventures to be had in the area, but if the weather is inconvenient, the couches around the fireplace in the grand room, are perfect for reading or tv watching and relaxing.
Beds were incredibly comfortable. The bathrooms had everything you’d need. Plenty of room when you walk in for all your winter sporting gear, plus a two car, empty, garage.
Posto Property was quick to respond in the days leading up to our stay and the house was so well outfitted, that we had no reason to communicate while at Silver Ridge. The welcome gifts were fabulous.
Look forward to staying again and bringing friends!
