House was super clean and as described. Pickup of key and check-in was easy. House had everything you needed and more and location was great. Jen was very responsive and attentive, although with the everything taken care of, we didn’t need to interface much. Overall, great stay. Would return for sure.
We loved every inch of this beautiful home. Six adults and six children fit comfortably and had so much fun. The location, the creek, the fire pit, the beautiful screened in porch, the amenities, the “kids floor” 🙂 – many thoughtful touches of comfort throughout the house that made it a beautiful weekend for everyone. The perfect first airb experience for us. Perfect hosts and we hope to return soon.
This Airbnb was everything we could have asked for. We rented it for my bachelorette weekend, and it was perfect. We loved being able to hang out on the deck and grill, and at night we stayed up to watch the meteor showers. The location is close to town and so many hiking trails! For our group of 9, everyone had their own space and we never felt like we were on top of one another. We would definitely stay here again!
This home was a great find! The house was super clean, and we loved the backyard for grilling and making fires at night. The bedrooms were cozy and the main bathroom had a fantastic shower too! We cooked most mornings and evenings and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
The perfect house for a quiet and restful Vermont retreat! Immaculate inside and out, I loved the special touches the owners made to make us feel at home. A fenced in yard and dog bowls out for our puppy and a fun loft bed for our kids made the stay forever memorable. A great location close to hiking trails, a state park with a beach and boat rentals, shopping and great restaurants. We would love to return next summer!
Great location, nicely furnished and decorated, spacious, pet-friendly. The new hot-tub is a nice addition, kinda pricey but still worth it. The host provides a handy binder with info on local restaurants and activities. Minor issue with the door code at check-in but the host responded immediately so it was resolved in about 2 minutes. If you are arriving in the evening, the driveway is well-lit, and the address sign is pretty easy to see. Also, the host was nice enough to leave some insect repellent on the porch, which was a blessing, as mosquitoes were fierce. This was our very first time using AirBnB, it was a great way to get find someplace nice to stay with only 24 hours advance notice…we will definitely do this again.
The house is great, and it’s in a really beautiful location. Very private, plenty of space for a group. The deck is a gorgeous feature. And Emil is an excellent host— super communicative, friendly, helpful!
Great location with plenty of space. We stayed in the summer and had a great time. Do not let the lack of AC scare you off! House comes equipped with portable fans and features a large downstairs area that will keep you nice and cool during the day and the night. Gas grill on premise barbecues nicely. All and all a comfortable place to stay with easy access to the many attractions of Stowe.
This was a perfect getaway for our family of four plus two dogs. The house is very clean and comfortable, and stocked with everything you need. We loved the fenced-in yard, the waffle maker, the board games, and the loft bed! We enjoyed exploring nearby towns, hiking (Buttermilk Falls is a must) and attractions (Okemo’s mountain coaster was fun!). Thank you for a great stay!
A fun, cozy house in an amazing area. Open kitchen with easy access to the outdoors. Large living room that was a bit dark, but allowed for a great place to gather. All rooms have amazing air conditioning (so important when we visited). My group had some specific asks and the hosts were understanding and flexible. Totally recommend for groups who are looking for a tranquil home with easy access to towns or the outdoors.
The best Airbnb we’ve stayed in! As other reviewers mentioned, it really is just like the pictures. They included very thoughtful touches throughout the cabin. We were a family of four and our kids are old enough to enjoy the sleeping loft. It was plenty of space for us. If you’ve ever wanted to try a tiny house, try this one!
We had such a great family vacation! This house is beautiful, very comfortable and so CLEAN! Perfect for families. We enjoyed the location to downtown, the super comfy beds, nice furniture, spacious rooms, and the excellent kitchen with everything you could possible need to make delicious meals. The large deck with Jacuzzi tub, surround sound through out the house, and basement to watch movies and video games were a big hit. There is a concierge available should you need it for issues or recommendations and the owners are extremely responsive as well.
We have zero issues or complaints with our stay. Everything was perfect. We booked another week next summer for more relaxing and exploring – can’t wait!

My husband and I stayed here with our 2.5yo and my mom. The upstairs bedrooms are nicely separated from one another, offering great privacy. The decor and little touches (games, books, records) provided some great entertainment and also made if feel homey and thoughtfully curated. The place was super clean and the two full bathrooms were a plus! Plenty of towels and kitchen extras. There was also a ton of wood for the fire pit! It’s situated right in between downtown Saugerties and Woodstock, making it a quick trip to some great food.
We had a great stay – this location is ideal for hiking and the river was lovely and our dogs absolutely loved the opportunity to swim. Finding a dog friendly air bnb is always a big bonus and our pups loved the yard, hanging with us by the firepit and being able to come with us on our hiking adventures. The main and upper floors of the cabin are beautiful and we enjoyed the openness of the space and spent time reading and playing games on a rainy morning. We did not use the basement rooms but could see them being useful as a kid space for anyone coming with a family.
We had ourselves a very beautiful extended weekend immersed in the forest.
Full disclosure there were some hygienic concerns along with minor issues with the freezer. All of which were addressed in a timely manner, but which came to no avail.
The house has a very soothing ascetic and the surrounding forest just enhances it. From the loft movie room, to the bedrooms, through the kitchen and living room, and all the way to the outdoors, wherever you chose to be it there was some relaxing stimuli that made you feel truly on holiday. It truly is an amazing place to go to and relax.
Upon arrival there were a few things askew; the refrigerator was full of old condiments and the freezer full of old ice and food, which made the freezer start to leak. The house info state there will be basic things like salt, pepper, and oil, but the food in the fridge was off putting. I’m assuming it was left behind from past guest or maybe left in thought of being useful, but I figure it was left to avoid paying for its disposal.
Which brings me to another bump, being that the garbage disposal site information may have been incorrect or not specific enough and we had to bring our trash all the way home with us. This may be another reason we found a bit of litter around the property as well, near the fire pit and surround grounds.
The last and most off-putting issue was that there was undergarments found under the bed of one of the bed rooms. A guest staying with me went to plug a charger in and saw something and upon investigation found it was left behind underwear.
All concerns were brought to Tiffany’s attention to which she replied promptly, with attempts to be accommodating in fixing the situation. It being a short stay in a remote place there was not much that could be done in the time while I was there to rectify the issues.
If not for hygiene issue this would have gotten a perfect rating from me. The house and property are in a perfect location, secluded yet ten to thirty minutes to a bunch of other activities. The house itself is full of character and can occupy you for hours.

We had a great stay! The house is nicer than the pictures. (The kitchen in particular is fantastic!) Beds are comfortable, pool is huge and heated, and we definitely took advantage of the ping pong table. Lots of bedrooms – our three families with 7 kids all had room to spread out. We would come again!
Absolutely loved the house and the location. Pictures don’t do justice to this place. House was super clean with all basic amenities. There is a fenced backyard perfect for little kids. It was minutes away from all restaurants. Highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a getaway in Vermont. We will definitely be back.
We had an amazing stay here after it was recommended by a friend! A wonderful private location. We explored the brook across the street, Pikes Falls, and a couple other fabulous spots along Ball Mountain Brook. The area is just magical. The hosts were very responsive. Amazing, relaxing vacation spot!
A wonderfully designed Tiny Home in a bucolic corner of Vermont. Amazing sleeping loft – full size bathtub/shower and great kitchen – gas stove better than what I have at home. We loved our day trips – drives through Londonderry to Chester and Rockingham Vt to visit rare perennial and conifer grower Scott Bolotin of Morningstar Farms. Hikes and runs from the Jamaica State Park trailhead and Winhall Campground North Trailhead were both spectacular. Recommendations for food were great – don’t miss Ungrounded (maple flat white), the pastries from the shop right next door, dinner at Fat Crow and take out from HoneyPie’s. Communication with Lauren and Chris was seamless – thank you!
The space was absolutely phenomenal. We had a lovely time! The kids adored the hammock, the video games, and spotting the wild turkeys and deer. Would go again in a heartbeat.
