I booked Casa Magda with a group of 7 of my friends for a relaxing and dreamy weekend away from the city. We all wish we could go back again already. The warm, immaculate, and tranquil space is perfect for intimate group gatherings. Every detail of the airbnb from the experience of booking online to the interior decorating is designed with so much thought and care. The limited WiFi lent for a perfect opportunity to unplug–we cooked, watched movies, danced, and enjoyed each one another’s company. At the house, we used the bbq grill and deck for all of our meals and the fire pit in the yard for nighttime stargazing and smores. If you are music and film lover the house is well equipped with a projector, sonos music system and selection of records from John Coltrane to Mariah Carey—something for every mood. The kitchen is also a delight to cook in, it is well equipped with everything you can think of. During the day we used Tiffany’s handbook to enjoy the outdoor activities in the Catskill’s area. The house is perfectly located on a very quiet secluded street but also close to town if you need to grab any additional provisions. Tiffany was also very responsive before, after, and during the trip. My friends and I plan to come back again and I would definitely recommend Casa Magda to friends and family!
Gathered here with my best friends for a weekend. We were meeting up from CA, NY, PA & DE and this was the perfect place for us all to catch up and relax. Before we arrived we were sent a very helpful guidebook that helped us plan our weekend. The house is GORGEOUS and has views of the river throughout. The river was much bigger than we expected and allowed us to spend time outside on a really hot & humid day. They provided us with Parachute robes for all of us which was a great touch. In all this house had everything we could ask for.
The town has a great Farmers Market on Saturdays that you can get everything you’d need and more, including King Trumpet mushrooms, homemade ciabatta bread and fresh scallops. The fully stocked kitchen and grill outside helped us make an amazing dinner. We also loved the folks at the Sticket Inn’s restaurant & bar, super friendly & welcoming. We had an amazing time and I will definitely be keeping this house pinned for future visits!

This house was amazing! I booked for my sister and her friends – there was plenty of space both inside and outside. The listing pictures don’t do it justice as it has been recently renovated. The kitchen is stunning and well equipped with cookware and dish ware. Really easy to find and get to – highly recommend!
My group and I booked this place for the 4th of July weekend and I must say that we were very pleased overall. The main room and open concept design was great for us, everyone had plenty of space to relax and unwind. Kitchen was stocked with dishware, plates etc so we could cook. The outdoor grill has a direct propane line so we were able to grill, which was great. Bedrooms were all clean as were the ensuite bathrooms. Pool area and hot-tub were terrific. Pool was clean and the heater also worked well. All-in all this was a great place to spend time with friends and the host was quick to answer any of my questions. Thanks again!
We had a great extended stay here. The home is cute and comfortable with lots of nice touches. Even through the property includes other homes and rentals, it felt very private. The location is also perfect for exploring the Green Mountain state. Jamaica has a great state park and you are just a short drive from other wonderful hiking trails and cool towns like Brattleboro. Would definitely recommend.
My friends and I booked this place for our short weekend breakaway at windham and it was truly an amazing experience! The host is so considerate and helpful with our needs and the house itself is very clean, spacious, filled with loads of entertainment and most of all situated in an excellent view. Definitely should consider here when hanging out with friends!!
This cabin was perfect for a weekend away in the woods!
The cabin is a well designed balance of modern and cozy. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, the kitchen was basic but well kept, and the fire pit was perfect for roasting s’mores. There was plenty to do nearby between hikes, farmers markets, and local restaurants too.
The driveway was a little hard to spot at night off the main road, but once you find it you won’t be disappointed!
Highly recommend and will definitely try to get back there soon.

We had a lovely weekend in this tiny house! Well appointed and practically spacious feeling kitchen and bathroom, and despite the bed being lofted the windows on the top floor and space between the bed and ceiling made it feel quite roomy. Tight space for lounging/relaxing downstairs, but we spent most of our time out and about and hanging outside the tiny house. As mentioned in other reviews, there are other houses on the property but we still had complete privacy and would recommend for anyone looking to experience a tiny house (but still have everything you need!).
We spent 11 great days at this house. Our family of 9, had a great time. The huge deck, overlooking the mountains and the pond was fantastic. We hiked and biked around, went to the waterfalls and Colgate lake and just enjoyed our time together in this comfortable house.
We had some major difficulties the first two days (no hot water and a wet lower level), but the hosts, Kinga and Joe, were extremely quick in responding. Everything was promptly resolved.

The house has three great bedrooms on the main floor (I think they call it second floor, but it seems the first floor to me), one nice bedroom on the third floor, and a first (basement?) floor big bedroom with five beds (it was ok, not as inviting as the other bedrooms) . And the shuffle board on this lower level was a great addition that brought hours of great entertainment!

We had a wonderful stay at the creekhouse! The space is clean, minimal, stylish–it feels like a showroom for the hippest interior brands. The house is so lovely, VERY comfortable for three sets of adults and four kids. The location is fantastic–the creek is great, and Callicoon is super close. We enjoyed the sunday market and took some of Samantha’s recommendations on food and drink spots. Highly recommend!
Our stay was fantastic! It was the perfect escape for my family. We needed some time away but also wanted to be close to things; eating, hiking, playing, etc. Would absolutely love to come back in the winter and sit in front of that fireplace while watching it snow! There was PLENTY of space for my family of 4 who went and I cooked most of our meals there with everything I needed. (Even extra spices not normally found at Airbnbs) Laundry facilities, a firepit and the hot tub were all extras and communication was perfect. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Book it! The house is as it appears: well-designed, roomy, clean. It’s across a quiet street from a babbling brook. No calming water sound app needed here; the brook is a perfect soundtrack. It was a perfect spot for our family of four- two parents, a 20-year-old and a 16-year old. Communication with the owners was super.
Casa Magda was the perfect Catskills stay we were hoping for! The house is beautifully designed and decorated as per the photos. Our group had a great time hanging out in the space, listening to the awesome record collection and watching movies on the projector. Awesome hiking nearby, too. It was exactly the relaxing getaway from the city we were hoping for!
I stayed at Jen’s place for my bachelorette weekend. It’s the perfect combination of private and in the center of everything. We had no trouble finding fun things to do and good things to eat. The chalet itself is even more big and beautiful than the pictures can do it justice. Couldn’t have asked for a better time.
For many years, our extended family (three sisters and their significant others and children, plus two grandparents) has done a week or weekend getaway and stayed at an airbnb. This was, by far, the nicest place we have stayed, and family members were already talking about a return trip.
There is plenty of space spread over the three floors, plus a fantastic screened deck and great outdoor space. The setting is ideal for a relaxing getaway. The house is tastefully furnished and well appointed with upgraded appliances and everything in good working order. All in all, it’s as described, only better. I would highly recommend.

I’ve been fortunate enough to stay in beautiful homes while traveling the world but nothing has come close to Tiffany’s house. The home radiates joy, warmth, and peace with its clean lines, mid-century features, and secluded location. I wanted a place that had a history and when I read more about Casa Magda’s story, you couldn’t help but absorb all the love that went into renovating and rebuilding this alluring and charming refuge. While there is Wifi available, take it from someone who constantly needs stimulation: put away your phones and computers because you won’t need them–the house will keep you entertained and preoccupied for your entire stay. The open space and bright natural lighting will make you want to relax on the sofa to soak in the sun or do yoga out on the deck. The fully-equipped kitchen with its minimalist influences will inspire you to cook all weekend. I normally don’t like cooking but I did nothing but make delicious food from the ample supply of spices and eat constantly out of the beautifully designed dishware. The loft provides a reclusive social option with a huge screen and projector to watch films and plenty of room to play board games with friends and loved ones. Every bedroom had super comfortable sheets and bedding which will make you fall into a wistful slumber–I never had a better night’s sleep until I came here. My friends and I also took the opportunity to stargaze in the backyard around the fire pit and we ended up staying up until dawn because it was that breathtaking. Don’t forget to use the Sonos player to enjoy a listening party because the acoustics in the space is incredible. Feel free to ask any questions for Tiffany; she was extremely communicative, reliable, and so friendly. Recharge yourself from a tough year by coming to Casa Magda. I promise that you will feel revived, restored, and refreshed! Thank you Tiffany for opening up your home and sharing your beautiful story with us. I’m already planning to come back in the fall!
