Wow! What a showstopper of a home. We spent the week here and each day pinched ourselves that we landed on an amazing house. The layout was ideal for a working holiday with rooms spread out in different parts of the house. The state-of-the-art kitchen, cozy firepit, beautiful surroundings out each window, and extremely tasteful furnishings make this Airbnb a winner.
We experienced a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our getaway. The home was lovely and just what we were looking to try out as far as size goes. We have been researching going tiny for some time and this was a great way to give it a try and take a rest from this crazy year. We cooked most of our meals and even did some baking during our stay. We so enjoyed the night sounds from the loft windows at night and watching the beautiful sunsets. We walked the Big Falls Preserve down the road and the waterfalls were lovely to see and hear. New Gloucester country store gave you that small town country feel and the people and food were awesome. We will definitely recommend this home y friends and family.

Amazing home, perfect for vacations. A lot of space indoors and outdoors. The house came equipped with everything a family possibly needs. Chris and Lauren are great hosts. They helped me out from beginning to end with questions/concerns I had. Check-in and check-out directions were easy to follow.
I would definitely recommend a stay at the modern home. My family and I will look forward to going back.

We had a lot of fun and relaxation at Cedar Brook Cabin and would highly recommend it for Mainers and visitors to our great state as well. Too many thoughtful amenities to list. I worked remotely from the cabin so you know the Wi-Fi is excellent and strong. Being so close to Big Falls Preserve and Norumbega Cidery was a delightful bonus!
What a wonderful airbnb! The pictures and descriptions are exactly as described. The house is artfully detailed, very clean, and super comfortable. Check-in was easy and the hosts are very quick to respond. The house has everything you need to make meals and feel cozy. There are games, high speed internet, all the privacy you could want, all the tv channels you could ask for if that’s your thing, and quite comfortable beds. The location is just down the road from a local market and brewery, and just 20 minute drive through the intervale to Freeport. High recommendations.
It was the perfect stay for my boyfriend and I for our weekend getaway. It was very clean and we did not feel tight for space at all. Lauren and Chris provided clear instructions for finding the house, parking, and checking in/out. There was plenty of firewood so we were able to enjoy the firepit at night. There were dining options for us in neighboring towns as well as a grocery store to buy food to cook. Would highly recommend!

We made a fire inside and outside while we watched the Little River rush by. The house is right on a main route but the traffic is very light and it never took away from the feeling of seclusion.

Jen’s house was perfect in every way. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was equipped with every tool you could imagine, the game room was fun and relaxing, the hot tub was great, and the view was fabulous. What’s more, the house is perfectly located just outside the main streets of Stowe, close to the ski and recreation areas, and so much more. It was the perfect stay in every way. Highly recommend!
We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and beautiful gateway. We enjoyed our trip to the Bethel Woodstock Museum and sort of reliving that moment in time. We did the Mongaup River Trail. Also visited the town of Port Jervis. Check out Fogwood + Fig(Vegan) and Port Jervis Brick Oven Pizza.

Our stay at Little River was fantastic! I brought my husband here to celebrate his birthday. The house was beautiful and exactly as picture, the property was so pretty and comfortable. The house and all of its amenities feel so natural yet luxurious. It was a wonderful time- would absolutely recommend!
The description and the reviews are all absolutely accurate. Even though it’s on a main road and with neighbors, you really do feel pretty isolated and it is easy to forget your tiny house is not alone. I inadvertently caused damages to the sheets and another item as a result of the fire-pit so make sure not to get too close! Lauren and Chris were fantastic hosts and I wish I was a more mindful guests but the issues were resolved with ease. Thank you for everything!
The cabin was a great getaway and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was really nice and responsive. The place was clean and quiet. There was no A/C but its in the middle of the woods and it was surprisingly cool with the windows open and fan on. The deck was really nice with string lights. We had the firepit going and roasted marshmallows for smores. I’m a big cookbook fan and was excited to read all the cookbooks around the cabin. The cabin is close to the Delware River with several canoeing, white water rafting, tubing service companies. We went canoeing and hiking around the area. It was so relaxing. We will definitely rent again! Thanks again for hosting us.
We absolutely loved our time at the Modern House! The property is amazing and located on a quiet road with the river and enough space that you feel secluded. The local area had tons to explore including Stratton Village and some great hikes. Bonus points for being pet friendly – my pup had an awesome time here and we enjoyed an evening by the fire and lots of time on the front porch. Can’t recommend enough!

This place ticks all the boxes if you are looking for a quiet retreat. I stayed here to work on my book and while there isn’t much around in terms of food options, I brought my own so I didn’t mind. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. I typed out on the cute patio in the Adirondack chairs. It was peaceful . I wasn’t aware that there were more properties close by but once I got there the place was so cozy it didn’t matter. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We had just such a lovely weekend – even though it rained the whole time and was 48 degrees in late May, we never got bored just hanging out in the super cute house, playing games, reading books, and just generally soaking in the peace and quiet. The cottage is beautiful, restful-feeling, graciously decorated, and welcoming. We loved the books and games selections too! We would absolutely love to come back.
We had a wonderful time at Gordon’s place. It was such a relaxing stay, the unit is lovely, and Gordon is an A+ host. It’s clear he invests a lot of time, energy, and thought into the guest experience, and that did not go unnoticed by us! We were celebrating an anniversary, and he even left a bottle of wine for us. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a getaway that is both near to amazing attractions (nature, dining, etc.) and feels so remote and peaceful.
David’s place was amazing! The space was recently remodeled, so the pictures did not do it justice. Everything is so comfortable and well decorated with lovely touches throughout the space, and the kitchen is very well stocked with quality cookware. We did not get to use the pool due to an unseasonably cold weekend, but it is huge (way bigger than comes across in pictures)!! We had a group of 13, and were very comfortable. Would highly recommend!
This home is exceptional. Perfect in every way! Amazing how spacious it felt – even for two adults, two teens, and a lab! The high-end touches made it feel like a boutique hotel and we didn’t want to leave. Btw – great little brewery (Nu) and food truck (Yolked) only about 5-10 minutes from the house – awesome when you don’t feel like trekking too far. We can’t wait to check out other Wildwood properties!
