We had an amazing week. The house was perfect for our little family. It has a great layout and was very clean. Great natural light in the living/dining room. The kitchen is well equipped making home-made cooking a joy. The fire place was lovely to enjoy on the snowy days. The master bedroom is a great size. The bed was very comfortable. We truly had a great time both at the house, as well as exploring the surrounding towns. I would definitely recommend a stay at Jake’s!
This was by far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. It was well worth the money I would recommend this to everyone and I will definitely be back. The space is beautiful as well as very well thought out. I really appreciate all the small touches that were put in the Airbnb I would literally move here if that was possible. The kitchen is a dream as well as waking up to the sounds of a stream was amazing. I got the best nights sleep I’ve ever gotten and the bathtub is HUGE.
We stayed at Eric’s place for a ski trip to Okemo and had an amazing time at the house. The place looks exactly as the pictures and the kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary equipment to cook during the trip, it even has a wide selection of spices. Location is very convenient to drive from Okemo (20 min) and it is close to a grocery store. We will definitely come back to Eric’s place in our future trips to Vermont.
This Airbnb is by far a diamond in the rough! We were looking to find a place for a long weekend getaway and this was the better than we could of asked for. The location is just far enough away from the main towns hustle to give you the excluded feeling but close enough that you can get anywhere in a 30 min drive. The guide books provided were an amazing amenity and we truly enjoyed the relaxing weekend. We will definitely be back!
Darby House is an absolute must-visit. From the amenities, to the overall modern touches, and location surrounded by charming towns, booking this stay was a great way to start 2021! Karli was also an amazing host, always prompt to respond and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Also appreciated her recommendations for local sights to stop by. I’ve stayed in dozens of Airbnb’s, and this was the first one to blow away my expectations. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, the space was curated-but-comfortable, the local recommendations all spot-on, even the instructional/warning cards were tastefully decorative. Every night we had a crackling fire, and didn’t touch the tv – we were too busy playing board games, cooking a gourmet feast, and drinking craft beer procured in Narrowsburg. It’s really a magical cabin – one of those places you’re almost afraid to share because you want to keep it a secret. But you deserve to experience everything these wonderful hosts have to offer!
One of the most serene stays I’ve ever experience. The entire property is a slice of escapism tucked away only 2 hours away from the city that’s worth revisiting. I came here with friends and I’m already planning round 2 for my mom and siblings.

This house is extremely tastefully decorated and stylishly appointed. The house is spotlessly clean and the hosts are extremely responsive. The company that manages the property on behalf of the owners also did a terrific job supporting our stay. We had a lovely time and would wholeheartedly stay in this home again. THANK YOU!
Our stay at The Darby House was amazing. Beautiful and peaceful location. Perfect getaway from the city with our 2 children. The home was cozy and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy and the children loved sleeping up in the loft style bedroom.

Lived up to the hype – such a great experience from start to finish. The house has so many special touches and great design, high end finishes and products to use (in contrast to what you usually find in an Airbnb) and just all around extremely cozy and comfortable. I love how isolated it feels even though you’re only a few min outside of town and the sound of the river was the only thing we could hear. We’re already planning a return trip in summer!
We had a wonderful time at the stylish and cozy Darby House! Our group thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque winter views from the amazing great room, and were even able to make use of the fire pit in the back. We appreciated the many thoughtful touches inside the home as well, including extra toiletries, games, and well-stocked kitchen. Would love to visit again!
This place is everything your are expecting and more. The scenery surrounding the cabin is beautiful! Laura did an amazing job at reaching out to us to ensure we were taken care of. The cabin itself has everything you need for a perfect stay and it’s extremely cozy. I would definitely recommend this spot.
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The decor was simple elegance with a splash of quirky and very cozy. Beautifully situated on a quiet road that didn’t feel isolated. We had five days of snow and a roaring fire. The hosts were solicitous and very attentive to our needs especially with snow removal. We highly recommend this lovely retreat.

Without a doubt the best AirBnB I’ve ever stayed at. Eric is an excellent host and was very responsive. The condo was perfectly clean, the open kitchen and living room was great to hangout in, and the kitchen was well stocked with cookwear and spices. I would definitely stay here again. Wish I had found this place sooner!
