We stayed here for our honeymoon (we called it a tiny moon & will be doing an out of country trip once the world settles down). This was the PERFECT place for us to get away after our wedding and spend time with just each other. It was super easy to find (& we got there after dark), incredibly clean & spotless, easy check in with keyless entry & close to fun things to do – we spent one day exploring Brattleboro, VT (about 30 mins away). We were able to cook breakfast and dinner in & spent time watching Netflix by logging in to our own account on the TV & using Wi-Fi. Perfect getaway for a few night and we are grateful!
Our stay was fantastic! Gordon was extremely responsive and helpful with suggestions and recommendations. The property is beautiful backing up to a pond with mountain views. The unit is updated and stylish and the hot tub is awesome! Would highly recommend staying here for a peaceful and relaxing stay in beautiful Stowe.
The house was perfect for a COVID friendly getaway. The house was very clean and charming. We were able to cook delicious dinners and enjoy all the amenities included. The area around Jamaica is wonderful, we went to the state park for the day to hike around and enjoyed all the local breweries. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend! We are definitely planning to return again as soon as we can. The cabin is stylish, lovely, and cozy. We didn’t want to leave. When we first arrived, the thermostat was broken. Karli was on top of it and sent someone out within 20 minutes, the issue was fixed in no time! She is responsive and communicated with us during our whole stay. She made us feel like family. We brought our dog and two young daughters – excellent retreat for the whole family. Our children slept in the loft and they thought they were the coolest people on Earth! There is a darling swing in the woods and the coziest fireplace setup. We listened to jazz on her Bluetooth speakers. The kitchen had some items for us to use, which I appreciated. My words just don’t do this one justice – trust me, you need to stay here!
Little river cabin is such a beautiful place to stay inside and out. Beautiful location with woods and the subtle sound of the little river as the backdrop as well as a truly well curated space inside. The natural light in the cabin during the day and the coziness in the evening wih a fire going were perfect. The little details of a welcome bottle of cider and fresh coffee beans to use in the morning really set the tone. Alana, the local host, was quick to respond to any questions and the local suggestions from Lauren were really great. Can’t wait to go back!
A clean and serene cabin in the woods is a great option to get away yet stay safe. Derby House is an open space with plenty of windows and light. The indoor and outdoor fireplace options add warmth and the loft is a great place to sleep and listen to the breeze blowing through the trees. Little towns nearby are quaint and worth taking a ride along the river to explore. Light the candles, grab your beverage of choice and enjoy “upstate and chill” time.
This cabin is absolutely gorgeous – so cozy and well decorated. They have really everything you could need, including pour over coffee/french press and products in the bathroom. The surroundings are beautiful, right next to a river with an outdoor fire pit/gathering area. We absolutely loved our stay here and hope to have the opportunity to stay again!
This place is HEAVEN!!! It is even more beautiful and cozier then in the pictures. Right away we felt home. My most favorite part was the mornings because you can actually see the sunrise while sipping coffee on the couch.
Also the area around is beautiful and it is a short walk to the Delaware river.

It was our first time staying at a tiny house so it was a fun experience. The house is a little close to the other homes nearby but Lauren & Chris did a really great job making the space as private as possible. The home is near several ski mountains and adorable towns with local shops and restaurants. It was the perfect trip for me and my husband!
Eric’s home was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the fireplace, home cooked meals in the kitchen and explored the nearby outdoorsy attractions. It would be perfect during ski season and the summer. Great access to Lowell Lake State Park, Magic Mountain, Bromley Mountain, and the quaint towns of Chester, Londonderry, and Weston. We would stay here again without question.
This place is a perfect getaway to the woods and mountains. So close by to great hikes and ski mountains, and awesome for star-gazing. We stayed in December, but I’d love to go back in the summer as well. Lauren and Chris were amazing hosts helping to answer any questions very quickly and the place has all the amenities you could ever need. I absolutely recommend staying here!
We had a great time at this property. More than enough seasoned firewood provided allowing us to have a fire in the fireplace everyday. Extra propane tank provided with the outdoor grill, which as it turned out we needed. The cookware in the house is quite nice and plenty of serving plates. A hodge podge of cooking/preparation utensils, but that did not affect us much because we brought what we needed for the recipes that we preplanned to make. We brought pets and the house was very pet friendly and wonderful walking around the property. Would definaetly come again.
I can’t say enough about our wonderful stay here. It began with the ease of booking thanks to the owners responsiveness to our inquiries. A responsiveness that continued leading up to and throughout our stay. The owners are truly wonderful hosts and were so helpful answering all of our questions not only about the house but about grocery stores (we loved The Butchery for steaks on the grill), wine stores, hiking (climbing Stowe Pinnacle was a highlight!), and more! The house is beautiful and the perfect escape we needed. We loved the grill and hot tub conveniently located right outside the main floor within close proximity to the kitchen and main living room. The fireplace was perfect for cozy reading and games. The kitchen is well stocked for those who like to cook which having rented numerous homes in the past has not always been our experience. We certainly enjoyed the appliances for our fresh pasta and bread! Master suite with the incredible views from the comfortable king bed and the soaking tub in the bathroom were a treat! Also for music lovers the sound system throughout the house is awesome. Proximity to town is excellent and make sure to check out the nearby Gold Brook. So picturesque! I can’t say enough about the house and the hosts. Plan to return again and again!

This was our third time staying at the Green Mountain Modern House, and we love it more every time we go! It was so magical being there during a huge snow storm. My kids had hours of fun playing in the yard and roasting marshmallows, looking for meteor showers. The house was as pristine as ever. Every detail is wonderful, and we couldn’t ask for a more comfortable place to spend a few days. Going to make our next reservation now!
We had a magical experience at the cabin. The owners and host are very communicative. The location was ideal to explore all the towns of Sullivan County like Narrowsburg, Livingston Manor, Callicoon, etc. The cabin was everything that we expected and more. It really is as idyllic as it looks in the pictures. We were lucky enough to be there for the big snow storm. The snow, the fire, great cabin, made for the perfect winter wonderland. Definitely would love to come back and experience it again!
Darby House is such a dream. The space is gorgeous, sparkling clean, and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The owner Karli is so responsive and helpful and the communication when coming and going was excellent and clear. The property is private and peaceful and the perfect place to disconnect and relax. My husband, dog, and I can’t wait to come back in the summertime for tubing and to enjoy the house in the warmer months. This is a spot not to be missed.
Green Mountain Modern House was a great spot to stay. It’s a really unique house (the photos are spot on!) in a beautiful spot by a river. It’s very secluded, but still close enough to Stratton and other ski resorts in the area. Loved the modern vibe attended to by the owners throughout the entire experience, from the listing on Airbnb to the stationary and coasters in the house. We thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful wood stove and sauna, especially after spending the day cross country skiing at the nearby Viking Nordic Center. The heated floors were appreciated by us and our pups, and the bed is super comfortable. The kitchen was supplied well and provided everything we needed. Unfortunately our stay was too short, but would definitely stay here again, and for a longer time.

Our stay at the green mountain tiny house was awesome! I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a rental in VT close to good skiing/outdoor recreation. One of the coolest aspects of tiny house is the kitchen which is fully equipped for whipping up some home cooked feasts after a long day out and about. The amenities were all excellent and as advertised. The wifi was strong which came in handy because there is pretty bad service in the area (for Verizon at least). It’s a great cozy get away for anyone but I would especially recommend for couples who like cooking and plan to be out and active most days. The host was very responsive and accommodating and did a great job of making it safe during COVID. Was a pleasure, and I plan to return whenever I come back to VT.
This rustic cottage is really a nice place for vacation, well decorated and comfortable. It is located in a quiet area in Saugerties.

The Darby house is the perfect getaway from the city! The house is located in a serene and relaxing area and had everything noted in the listing. Karli is a phenomenal host and was super quick to respond to any questions or concerns. It was perfect for my girlfriend and dog-safe for our 12 pound puppy. We look forward to returning soon.
The gorgeous log cabin is a little slice of serenity. The log fireplace and watching the snow fall through the surrounding windows was a great way to unwind from work and all things Covid.

The cabin is fully equipped; books, wifi and cable kept us ( with 2 teen sons) entertained in between the sleeping in, card games and outdoor firepit. Highly recommend for a cozy getaway.

We stayed at Eric’s place for New Years weekend and had a blast. The place is very cozy and had more than enough room for our group . There is a large living area space (with very soft carpets) and a large table for dining or playing board games. The heating issue in the previous review was not a concern for us at all. It is about 20min from Stratton Mountain and ~1hr to Killington. The market nearby had everything we needed and we picked up firewood at the hardware store next store. We enjoyed Eric’s place and would recommend to others.
