We spent a great and relaxing weekend at Declan’s place. The interior is designed with care and taste. You will find everything you need if you want to stay in from cookware to games. A quick drive will take you to Woodstock or to ski slopes. Although the house is by a small road, it is extremely quiet. There is definitely a distinctive smell to the running water but you quickly get over it while washing dishes or taking a shower. The fire place is small but pleasant and very efficient once you get it going. Communication was very easy and quick with Declan who even left a bottle of wine to welcome us! We recommend this place 100%
We had an awesome stay here. It was our first experience in a tiny house and it lived up to the hype. This space is so creative, well kept and it truly feels bigger than it is. I’d recommend this for a solo traveler or a couple. It is also very close to Stratton and Mt. Snow. The kitchen is perfect for breakfast or a simple dinner. Awesome place!
David and his wife were amazing hosts, responsive, attentive and caring. Their home is beautiful with an amazing kitchen, spacious living room, and enough rooms for big groups, there’s a small basketball court, zip line for kids/small adults, fire pit, grill, it has everything! We’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend.
Just as advertised, the Tiny House is a beautiful little space for a weekend getaway. Every inch of the place is thoughtfully laid out to maximize usability, and the high ceilings keep it from feeling too small. Place felt very clean and there’s a nice little area secluded from the rest of the property, so that part feels private. It’s close to a number of good hiking trails. Great spot!
Gordon’s place was unbelievably stunning. The views from the backyard are unbeatable, hot tub was super clean, and the beds were so comfortable! But, the best part of our trip was having Gordon as our host! He was so personable, gave great tips for hikes in the nearby area, and even provided us a complimentary bottle of champagne to help celebrate our friends birthday! I would highly recommend Gordon’s place to everyone! One of the best Airbnb’s I have ever been to!
David’s place was perfect for our group of 10 looking for a weekend getaway from NY. The house is stylish with thoughtful touches throughout and has ample space and bedrooms/baths for a big group. We especially loved the pool, the yoga studio, the fire pit/hammock area and the “moroccan” themed room for game nights. We were thoroughly impressed with how stocked the kitchen was with pots, pans, and everything you could possibly need (plus a massive stove for cooking for a big group). Would highly recommend and hope to come back again at some point!
We stayed in the Guest house. We he’d prompt communication with Efraim, although we did not need anything. Wonderful property. Patio overlooked the pond and scenery. We had zero internet issues, streamed movies and TV shows with good speed. The direct TV worked fine. Close to Hudson and Rhinebeck with the shopping and restaurants just reopened, about 35 minutes to Great Barrington.
Spectacular location and home. Lanseville is a perfect get away vacation with plenty to do: walking in the adjacent creek, fishing, hiking, and bike riding (both road cycling and drove to the Ashokan Rail Trail for a leisure scenic ride). We had 12 people and there was plenty of space in and around the house to relax and explore.
Lauren and Chris were great hosts (even though we never actually met them in person, which was a good thing during the Covid-19 crisis). The Tiny House was a fun getaway for my girlfriend and me and was a great place to chill or use as a base for exploring the Green Mountains, which are literally next door to the house.
Our stay with Gordon was lovely! The whole place was spotless, the beds were super comfortable and the hot tub has an amazing view. Gordon was a super thoughtful host who checked in a few times to make sure we had everything we needed and even surprised us with Prosecco. What more could you ask for?!
The Green Mountain Modern House was absolutely amazing! We couldn’t be more enamored with the beautiful architecture, beautiful touches (a bouquet of wildflowers on the table!), and the location. My kids spent all day every day, even in the rain, across the road climbing on the rocks, finding little orange salamanders, and throwing sticks into the little waterfalls. All of them said that they never wanted to leave. I didn’t either. We will definitely be back for more visits. Thanks so much for the amazing stay!
We had a fantastic time at Gordon’s property. It’s great for a weekend getaway – very quiet and peaceful and at the same time a short drive away from fun activities. Highlight is the hot tub, which is SO GOOD and very well maintained. Gordon was amazing and helped us out with anything we wanted and also recommended some great suggestions for local activities. He’s also very organized and made sure we were well prepared before we arrived. Not to mention, he’s an amazing person and even joined us for a fun dip in the private pond! 🙂
Oh the Amenities!
The location, view and house itself were just as wonderful as I’d expected from the photos. What I REALLY loved though, were all the thoughtful amenities. Usually when I stay at an airbnb with a keurig they give you 2 to 4 k-cups and that’s it. Not enough for the entire stay, just enough for the first day or two. Not this place—-there were plenty of k-cups for the whole weekend! I know it seems silly, but I really appreciated it. There were lots of other little touches as well. Gordon checked in with us via text once a day to see if we needed anything. The view was lovely, especially from the hot tub. Really a great stay.

Amazingly well stocked Vermont escape. The host of thought of all of the amenities. Everything from Board games to excellent barbecue cooking utensils including metal marshmallow roasting sticks! Wonderful to be able to see out the mass of windows and see the woods then walk down to the stream and enjoy some quiet reading time. Definitely recommend.
My family and I wanted a secluded getaway to recharge from remote working & learning due to the pandemic. It is hard to find a place that is high end with an abundance of amenities while also being pet-friendly. The Green Mountain Modern House fit the bill perfectly. We never needed to stray far from home because the kitchen and pantry were well stocked and we were across from a shallow babbling stream. We spent our days reading and lounging on the deck, climbing rocks on the stream and making s’mores in the firepit. There was a grocery store and awesome burger place just a 15 minute drive away. We spent one day doing a 5 mile hike to Lye Brook Falls and then having dinner outdoors at a fabulous tex mex place, Gringo Jack’s.
Vermont is beautiful in the summer and it’s mellow vibe was just what our family needed. The hosts were thorough in their communication and very quick to respond to inquires. We cannot wait to return.

Gordon’s home was a perfect private getaway. We felt completely safe and isolated in a beautiful setting, yet so close to town. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the private pond, comfy chairs overlooking a wonderful mountain view and an awesome fire pit in the evenings. Gordon also gave us great personalized recommendations for hiking and dinners. The space was spotless, light and bright, and decorated well. We couldn’t have asked for a better few days. We hope to return for some skiing soon!
Everything we could ask for in a summer vacation rental in Stowe. This house exceeded our expectations and it truly offers everything you need in a VT summer rental. The central A/C worked great and the hot tub was clean and well maintained for a nice soak after a long day of outdoor activities. The kitchen was extremely well appointed, with every kitchen appliance you could think of. Truly a chef’s kitchen with plenty of seating at the eat-in dining table for 8 plus 4 stools on the kitchen peninsula. The Weber propane grill had a full tank of gas and worked great as well. All the applies were very high end, from a brand new stainless steel fridge with and external in-door water and ice maker. The washer and dryer were brand new as well. And the ecobee thermostat worked great as well. The property manager Elaine was extremely responsive when I had a minor issue with getting the grill to light, and she was an absolute pleasure to deal with. All-around a really top notch rental for our two family getaway. We look forward to renting this property again in the future!
Such an amazing time with a clean and modern design interior. The host was responsive and very clear with check in/ check out details. There was initial worry of no AC but the house was cool during our entire trip. With all amenities available, you don’t need to bring much with you to enjoy the stay.
An idyllic property for a respite from the world. We were wowed when we entered, and loved the height, the light and spaciousness, the design and materials used. We enjoyed walking along the creek, the barbecue, sitting on the back lawn reading, enjoying films at night, daytrips to nearby ponds for a swim and a hike, venturing in to more populated areas for shopping (Woodstock, Bennington and Brattleboro). The downstairs bedroom is less appealing and needs some attention. Since we were 5 friends, sharing the costs. I resolved the issue by charging less to the couple in that space. Other than that, the property was a total pleasure. Highly recommended.
Enjoy a tiny retreat in Jamaica! When not baking cookies, sipping tea, reading a book, or sitting by the firepit, there was much to explore! Indoor/Outdoor options were plentiful including swimming holes, hiking, kayaking, picnicking, and places to sample award winning cheeses as well as local maple syrup. Grateful the tiny house had everything needed for a getaway in Vermont.
