Our stay at the Tiny House was all it was cracked up to be! Check in was a breeze and the home is as great as it looks in the pictures. While it’s definitely “tiny”, it felt more than big enough for us (a couple) over our stay. The kitchen is massive and can service any cooking you’re looking to do. We would highly recommend this home to any couples looking for a getaway in the Green Mountains
Spectacular mountain spot. My husband and i decided on a last minute ski day and stayed for one night at Gordon’s. The fireplace was cozy, not far from local restaurants, mini fridge held leftovers perfectly, the bed and the sheets were outstanding, and the hot tub felt amazing. There were even flip flops for the hot tub. Such thoughtful touches. It was just what we needed and we hope to make it back and to stay for longer in the future. All the stars are deserved.
This place worked wonderfully for a family gathering in Stowe. Well located, clean, with a well working jacuzzi, toasty fireplace, and great kitchen with lots of amenities. The only thing I would say is that noise between rooms travels freely. It was not a problem at all for us, but if you are looking to be able to lock yourself in a peaceful, meditative stance away from others staying in the house, you may need earplugs. Otherwise, you can’t go wrong with Jen’s place!
The most amazing space with views to match. Great location, short distance away from hiking, mountains, shopping, great food and drink, yet far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. The house has more than enough space for multiple guests and is very pet friendly. We love the radiant heat floors and the sauna. It felt like we were at our own spa. Check-in was hassle free and the complimentary local beers were a nice surprise! Communication was fast and hosts went out of their way to help us get situated. The welcome book had all the essential information once could want about the house and the local area. We would gladly visit again!
Great stay! I brought my staff over for a staycation to visit Hunter Mtn for a day of skiing. It was approximately 25 minutes doorstep to doorstep.
Stay was clean, authentic, kitchen was as described with having so much if you want to stay in and cook. Literally everything you need is here, even every spice imaginable.
Was greeted with a bottle of wine and a mini champagne.
Loved the mini Super Nintendo, and all the board games. Had a really fun night when we all arrived. Cooked a lovely big breakfast the next morning.

We loved the Green Mountain Modern House! It was clean and well appointed. I liked how responsive the owners were and how much they clearly like the area. The guide for hikes was really great and I loved the coasters with the image of the house in particular. I felt like the owners really wanted my group to have a good time.
Gordon’s home was the perfect place for our weekend ski trip. The home was very clean, had everything we needed for a short trip, and you can’t beat a hot tub after a day on the mountain. The home is about 10 minutes from all the bars and restaurants in Stowe, and 45 minutes from Smugglers’ Notch. Not only was the location and home great, but Gordon’s communication was extremely helpful as well. We will be staying here again for sure.
The Green Mountain Tiny House is exactly as pictured. It’s the perfect getaway for a couple looking for a relaxing visit to Vermont. It may be tiny, but it’s still spacious enough to move around comfortably. While Jamaica is quaint, we found plenty to do in surrounding towns no more than 30 mins from the tiny house. The hosts responded quickly to questions and gave clear instructions for check in and check out. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to visit Vermont and give tiny house living a try!
Declan’s place was very clean and comfortable. We stayed for two nights with a group of six while skiing in the area and this was exactly the vibe we were looking for. The house was conveniently located—a quick drive into town but still remote and secluded. It snowed quite a bit while we were there and someone had come to plow the driveway and shovel the walkway. A quick note to future renters—the faucet water has a bit of a sulfur smell so if you’re not used to this I’d suggest bringing bottled water for your stay. All in all a great stay and would be happy to stay again.
We had a great stay at this modern and well appointed cabin offering immersive experience in the mountain. The house is very well designed, both architecturally and functionally. Great hosting via messaging, providing the code for the key lock box and clear instructions and tips for arrival, departure and in between. The visit was smooth and easy. Treats included the heated concrete floors, beautiful window views, and comfortable furniture with sophistication. The kitchen is well equipped with high quality basics. A few downsides – we were disappointed to be barred from using the wood stove despite the roaring fire in the photo, the place is not suitable for people with dog allergy, the basement rooms are a bit musty/dank, the septic tank seemed to have trouble and left a lingering smell in bathrooms, and the kitchen hood did not work for us. Even so, we loved staying here and would definitely return if/when we have a chance.
The Green Mountain tiny house exceeded expectations for our ski weekend in VT. It was an ideal spot for traveling to and from Stratton Mtn, and served as an incredible place to relax and unwind after full days on the slopes. The fire pit/outdoor area was an awesome added bonus and the local tips we received from the hosts were greatly appreciated. We are already looking to plan a return trip, would highly recommend!
My family and I stayed the weekend so we could ski at Mt Snow and Stratton. We got rained out at Mt Snow so they let us check into the house 2 hours early which was nice. The home is as described. It was very clean and the check in process was super easy. The house is close to Stratton so that was very nice the next day when we went skiing. One of the nights it was snowing and it really would have been nice to have a fire in the wood burning stove, but this is not allowed. We knew this ahead of time, but that wood stove just stares at you while you are sitting there saying “feed me”. But really the only negative we had to say is that if you like to sleep in (which a bunch of us did), bring an eye mask, because there are no blinds or curtains on any of the upstairs bedroom windows. When the sun comes up, its daylight in those rooms. We loved the game room in the basement and we cooked some delicious meals in the well appointed kitchen. We highly recommend the house. It was wonderful.
Cozy Catskills getaway! Great kitchen for those who like to cook. Three spacious bedrooms that are quite private and two large bathrooms in an otherwise intimate home. Declan and team made the whole experience very easy and we were thoroughly impressed by how well equipped the house was – everything from spices to firewood! Would definitely stay again.
Gordon’s place is the lower part of a beautiful home with views of Mt. Mansfield. The space is well designed and big enough for 6, though there is only one bathroom – so keep that in mind. Overall, it’s an awesome place.
Gordon is very friendly and an accommodating and responsive host. The place is also close to downtown so that is a plus as you don’t have to drive too far.

We spent a great and relaxing weekend at Declan’s place. The interior is designed with care and taste. You will find everything you need if you want to stay in from cookware to games. A quick drive will take you to Woodstock or to ski slopes. Although the house is by a small road, it is extremely quiet. There is definitely a distinctive smell to the running water but you quickly get over it while washing dishes or taking a shower. The fire place is small but pleasant and very efficient once you get it going. Communication was very easy and quick with Declan who even left a bottle of wine to welcome us! We recommend this place 100%
We had an awesome stay here. It was our first experience in a tiny house and it lived up to the hype. This space is so creative, well kept and it truly feels bigger than it is. I’d recommend this for a solo traveler or a couple. It is also very close to Stratton and Mt. Snow. The kitchen is perfect for breakfast or a simple dinner. Awesome place!
