This is a great way to check out “tiny” living. We had a great few days staying in the green mountain tiny house. The house was clean and the host answered all my questions. Even though the weather could of been better, the house was a nice dry place to spend time together and experience the tiny lifestyle. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to check out tiny house living and had a great trip!
I celebrated my 30th birthday with a large group of friends in October. The photos do not do this listing justice because it’s breathtaking in person — especially with the fall foliage. From the beautifully decorated house to the expansive private property, I would suggest this listing to anyone who’s looking to get out of the city and immerse themselves in nature.

He also gave me several tips on what to do in the area, where to buy groceries, etc. I totally recommend nearby Kaaterskill Falls to anyone who’s looking to hike, as it’s only 15 mins from the house.

We felt glamorous and cozy as soon as we stepped into the house and right at ease! Perfect for a girl’s weekend getaway, we loved the open kitchen/living room for relaxing and tapas-style dinners, with cozy, calm bedroom spaces to retreat to in the evening. Bringing home several styling ideas – the dishware, bathroom tiling, hand towels, couch throws, and artwork were gorgeous!
Gordon’s Place is 5 stars. The location is great, the view of Mt Mansfield is stunning with incredible sunset and sunrise. The space is well lay-out, very functional with 2 large comfy bedrooms and everything you need in terms of amenities. Gordon’s is very thoughtful and left some ice for me in a cooler when I told him that I had a hip replacement surgery a few weeks ago and would need ice. He was also very helpful with advice with local vendors.

This place is a dream!! If you are thinking about booking it, don’t hesitate a second longer and book it! The location is perfectly secluded, right next to a river and in the National Forest, and is just a short drive from the nearby town! The house itself was incredible! The kitchen was a dream to cook in, the living room was the perfect spot to hangout in, and the bedrooms are super cozy. This is the ultimate hangout place, I would love to come back soon!
Of our whole Roadtrip on the east coast, Lauren and Chris’s tiny house far surpassed our other stays. The tiny house is located along a beautiful nature lined drive and in a serene peaceful area. I admittedly am a little scared of the woods but this house is located with other tiny houses nearby but not in any way taking away from the relaxation we felt.
The house itself was super clean, which I truly appreciated and very beautifully decorated. My boyfriend (being 6’2”) felt completely comfortable. I’m pretty sure the bathroom was larger than mine at home, honestly. The little fireplace nook was so cozy it made the night very enjoyable, as was the bed – slept like a log.
Communications were very pleasant, fast and helpful. Based on this experience, we’re looking forward to staying at this Airbnb in the future, as well as their larger property when we’re with a group.

This is everything as advertised and more. Chris & Lauren communicated everything we needed before arriving so that it was as easy as possible. The space is amazing, perfectly nestled right off the road with shops close by, we used all the recommendations they gave to us and it did not disappoint. Cannot say enough great things about our experience here, or about how great and responsive Chris & Lauren are. Definitely planning to return!
Declan’s house is a gem! Less than 15 minutes from the towns of Woodstock and Saugerties. Close to lots of hiking trails and ski/snowboarding. Also a lovely house to just light a fire, cook dinner and chill.
If you like to cook this is the place for you; beautiful, updated kitchen and it’s well appointed so all you need to bring is the food!

It’s also pet friendly which is super nice! Just make sure you bring a crate if you’re planning to leave your pup in the house at any point. Nice, large yard but it’s only partially fenced so bring a long leash if your pup is a runner. Also a gorgeous waterfall and stream right next to the house, lovely for a stroll with or without a pup 🙂

This place is amazing. Great price for the quality. Super clean and close to so many great areas. Back yard has amazing views and the hot tub makes the vacation. The pull out couches listed in the description are actually futons but those worked fine for us as well. It was a lot bigger than I initially expected. Gordon was a great host and left us champagne upon check in. We had a great time I really recommend staying here.
This may have been my favorite Airbnb stay to date. I’ve always wanted to stay in a “tiny house” and this house exceeded my expectations. The house is clean, cozy, beautifully decorated and laid out perfectly. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. They provided us with a fire pit, two Adirondack chairs and wood to enjoy the outdoor space and a list of local restaurants, bars and hiking trails to explore. This is an ideal spot for couples looking for a weekend away. I can’t wait to recommend this listing to all of my friends. Thank you Chris and Lauren!
This place looks exactly as portrayed in the photos. It’s very chic and new. We had a wonderful time staying here and definitely want to come back when the weather is warmer so we can take advantage of dining on the deck. We made a few roaring fires and went out to eat a lot of good restaurants in the area. The location is super convenient. We went to rhinebeck, tivoli, and hudson. The beds are super comfortable and the showers heat up very quickly. We even saw a bob cat in the drive way!
Gordon is an amazing host, and the property is beautiful. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape then this is the place for you. The views from the hottub are incredible, so much so that we almost did not want to leave the room all weekend. We will definitely be back, 10/10 recommend, you won’t be disappointed.
We had a great time and everyone in the group was very impressed with the space! The kitchen and bathrooms were all impressively outfitted. A good amount of space, clean, and well decorated. It was clear there was a lot of thought put into the details – like having oscillating fans in the bedrooms and having a bottle of champagne waiting for us – which were very much appreciated. Jake’s house is amazing…beautiful, secluded property in a great part of the Catskills! The home’s interior is so well done…wish my own home was as nice! We had an annual Friendsgiving weekend here and have stayed in some unreal homes in the past…this one was up there with the best of them! Communication from the owners was top notch as well…very prompt and responsive. Would totally recommend a stay here!
The Green Mountain Modern House was simply perfect. From the modern decor to the fully stocked amenities, the house is everything you need for a home away from home. The house is spacious and airy, fantastic location close to hiking trails, the cute little town and lots of other outdoor activists. There’s plenty of space for a romantic weekend or a house full of family and friends, including a basement with fun games for everyone. We can’t wait to visit again.
The Green Mountain Tiny House is an adorable place to hide away for a weekend! It is very cute inside, easy to get to (not always a given in rural VT) and a unique experience!
Our only unmet expectation was that during very cold weather (Nov/Dec, nearly reaching single digits at night) it was a little chilly in the house, and we had to use all the heat available to get it warm enough to be cozy on the main level.
However, it was definitely a great experience!

This home is as advertised and provides an excellent opportunity to getaway and relax. We had a great time enjoying the quiet and serenity, and took advantage of the nearby mountains and ski towns. The hosts were also quick to respond and provided a turnkey experience. We would definitely stay here again.
Had a great time at Gordon’s! Went there for a two day ski trip and needless to say we didn’t make the slope. Ended up soaking up the view with a glass of wine and enjoying the hot tub pretty much the entire weekend. Really amazing spot where the accommodation is perfect and Gordon is a fantastic host! Why leave? Will definitely be back. Highly recommend it.
A+ experience at Jen’s house in Stowe! Great kitchen amenities, hot tub perfect for after a long day skiing, minutes from downtown shops and restaurants and super comfy beds! Great common space for family gathering and game night. Loved the basement rooms for the kids… we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect space.
Jen was quick to respond or communicate with us. Place was spotless! It had all the essential comforts of home and then some!!!!

This cottage was wonderful. Plenty of space in the three bedrooms for us to stay. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in. Not pictured on Air BnB is a large flatscreen 4K tv, record player and video game system. This was perfect for us to unwind as a family in front of our favorite holiday movies after a long day of hiking. The house sits right next to the road and a local reservoir with a small waterfall and a stream. Beautiful to wake up to.
It was located perfectly to drive to Woodstock, Hunter, Saugerties, etc. Great value and it was maintained professionally like a hotel. We couldn’t have been happier.

Our stay at the Tiny House was all it was cracked up to be! Check in was a breeze and the home is as great as it looks in the pictures. While it’s definitely “tiny”, it felt more than big enough for us (a couple) over our stay. The kitchen is massive and can service any cooking you’re looking to do. We would highly recommend this home to any couples looking for a getaway in the Green Mountains
Spectacular mountain spot. My husband and i decided on a last minute ski day and stayed for one night at Gordon’s. The fireplace was cozy, not far from local restaurants, mini fridge held leftovers perfectly, the bed and the sheets were outstanding, and the hot tub felt amazing. There were even flip flops for the hot tub. Such thoughtful touches. It was just what we needed and we hope to make it back and to stay for longer in the future. All the stars are deserved.
This place worked wonderfully for a family gathering in Stowe. Well located, clean, with a well working jacuzzi, toasty fireplace, and great kitchen with lots of amenities. The only thing I would say is that noise between rooms travels freely. It was not a problem at all for us, but if you are looking to be able to lock yourself in a peaceful, meditative stance away from others staying in the house, you may need earplugs. Otherwise, you can’t go wrong with Jen’s place!
The most amazing space with views to match. Great location, short distance away from hiking, mountains, shopping, great food and drink, yet far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. The house has more than enough space for multiple guests and is very pet friendly. We love the radiant heat floors and the sauna. It felt like we were at our own spa. Check-in was hassle free and the complimentary local beers were a nice surprise! Communication was fast and hosts went out of their way to help us get situated. The welcome book had all the essential information once could want about the house and the local area. We would gladly visit again!
