This was truly the best Catskills getaway. The cozy couch, fur throws, and fire pit made the nights feel magical while we relaxed under the glowing stars. The beds were incredibly comfortable, similar to a high-end hotel but with the comfort of a home. The linens felt luxurious, the bathrooms were spotless, and the location was perfect. We will definitely stay again!
I have stayed at countless Airbnbs all over the world, and I can honestly say I have never experienced a stay like this one. I knew the photos were beautiful, but nothing prepared me for how incredible the Spirit Cabin truly is. Every single detail felt intentional, thoughtful, and elevated.
From the Aesop and Le Labo toiletries, to the SFERRA linens, to the Toto toilets — the quality of everything in this home is unbelievable. The beds were genuinely some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. The kitchen was stocked better than most actual homes: pancake mix, s’mores supplies, a full spice collection, wooden spoons, a garlic press, baking tools, and anything you could possibly need to cook a full meal. I Instacarted food before arriving and ended up not needing half of the items because the cabin already had so much.

We loved our stay here. The place is spotless, thoughtfully designed, and immediately feels like someone actually cared about the details. The bathtub was a standout, the bed was genuinely cozy, and having Sonos throughout was a surprisingly great touch. The setting is wonderfully remote in the best way. Quiet, peaceful, and exactly what we were hoping for. Would absolutely come back.
We stayed here with our 3 little kids and it was heaven! The home is absolutely beautiful, and so clean. Very remote and relaxing. The cows came to visit us every day, which the kids loved! We enjoyed exploring Hobarts book stores and antiques. Dinner at the Book Village Inn was cozy and delicious. I would recommend getting groceries to have in home ahead of time, especially if with kids. We loved exploring a little towns as well!
We stayed for multiple weeks and enjoyed the easy access to Main street and the quietness of the surroundings where the house is located. There were only two of us and the house worked really well for us. I suspect 4 would be ideal and 6 might feel a bit crowded if you plan to stay for more than a few days. The management company is the most responsive I have ever experienced in renting on either Airbnb or VRBO. They were excellent.
We had a fantastic stay at Hilltop, the privacy was just what we needed, and the views of the Berkshires were stunning. The cottage was extremely comfortable for our group of 6. The Red Cottage team was responsive and set a high standard for service and hospitality. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to use the hot tub due to filter issues, which we reported during our stay for attention.
We’ve been trying to visit the Green Mountain House and we’re so happy we finally did. The amenities are so comfortable and offered the right vibe for our Thanksgiving hiking vacation. The closest trails were a 10 min drive which we loved and the grocery store down the road had everything we needed. The house sauna was such a hit after hiking and the kitchen was complete with everything we needed to make our meals. We had such a relaxing time and are so grateful to our host. Thank you so so much.
Beautiful home with plenty of space to spread out. My whole family stayed here for just under a week, and we had a wonderful experience. The property is peaceful and filled with natural light. We also loved the wood stove.
The kitchen was very well equipped. We made Thanksgiving dinner during our stay and had all the essentials—spices, pots, pans, etc.—which made cooking easy. The hot tub was another great bonus.

The surrounding area is quiet, with a local grocery store about 15 minutes away and a few good restaurants just over 5 minutes away.
If you’re looking for a peaceful setting with plenty of room to relax and unwind, this is a fantastic place. We’d definitely stay here again.

Great location in a beautiful area – everything looked just like the pictures and in some ways even better. We did run into a few issues during our stay: the entrance code we received was incorrect, there was no propane when we wanted to use the BBQ, and the fridge stopped working halfway through our visit. That said, the hosts were very responsive and did their best to help resolve each problem quickly. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but there’s definitely room for a bit more attention to these details.
We enjoyed our stay in this pristine, beautifully restored Vermont farmhouse over Thanksgiving. Terrific kitchen for cooking, comfortable beds, and the outdoor sauna was amazing. And while the hosts weren’t responsible for the weather, we had a perfect snowfall, which made the fireplace even cozier.
We stayed for 4 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday with another family. In total we had 4 adults and 5 kids all under the age of 10. The downstairs play room was a huge hit with the kids! And the baby gates mounted on the stairs from the main level were perfect for keeping the toddlers contained. The kitchen was well-stocked and all the sleeping spaces were very comfortable. As a bonus, while the listing shows 5 bedrooms there’s an extra empty room on the basement level just off the playroom. It was the perfect spot to set up a travel crib.
Communication with the hosts was smooth throughout. As we were getting ready to pull out of the driveway after checking out our car showed a flat tire. The hosts allowed us to overstay our checkout time by several hours so the kids could be inside while we dealt with getting the car towed and serviced.

The house was clean and tidy when we arrived, all of the amenities were perfect. We loved our stay there and it truly looked beautiful when it snowed. Everything was easy to figure out how to use and the manual was very helpful. The mattresses were a little tough but the sheets and pillows were very soft. The view was fantastic!
This charming property was beautiful, cozy and super comfortable. We have never had Thanksgiving away from home but the kitchen was impeccably organized, superbly well stocked and clean. We so enjoyed the cottage style, warm dining room. Our holiday preparation went smoothly with great results. Stove was chef quality. Rest of home was tastefully furnished and gave us a country home experience with super comfy beds and pillows. We spent most of our family time around the gorgeous fireplace which was also well stocked. We are planning our Spring return visit already!
