This is a lovely, peaceful, secluded country home, within an easy drive to great towns like Hudson and Red Hook. The main living room has wonderful views, opening out to a roomy deck and the grounds are well maintained (which was great for our pet dog, who loved the whole place). We had a great weekend hanging out here.
Our stay at Red Cottage was absolutely amazing. Such a beautiful home, the decorations, the amenities, it was just perfect! Such a beautiful house! We were completely amazed at how beautiful and peaceful it was. Host was amazing at keeping in touch and answering any questions we had. So much to do nearby, nice restaurants, beautiful nature.. the fireplace outside at night was so cozy. Would definitely recommend as a must. The beauty of the house, the peacefulness of the location. It’s definitely a place to go to unwind and relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. It was an unforgettable experience.
The Red Cottage was truly a unique place! The photos make it look very spacious and amazing but the photos don’t really do it justice as it’s better in person! Truly a one of a kind. The backyard mountain vistas and nighttime stargazing were pretty special too. The sauna and hot tub were nice amenities. We hope we can go back very soon!
We had our wedding at a local venue and needed a place for our relatives to stay with bedrooms on the ground floor. Manderley house was perfect and close to where the celebration was taking place. The house is beautiful and nicely furnished. The surrounding area is also peaceful and fun to explore. We would highly recommend this place for a family gathering.
We loved the place so much we want to come back every year! An ideal home to host a group of friends or a big family. Lots of space for everyone to gather comfortably or to get away. Location is great! A brewery and lovely trail down the road for the nature lovers. For the loungers, hanging by the pool and hot tub is a perfect day!
Amazing. The first place we’ve stayed that was truly better than the photos! Spouse and I spent an unbelievable week in peace and quiet for a city getaway. We fished with a local guide, hiked, and generally relaxed at the place, cooking food in the gourmet kitchen (complete with any and every food accessory you could possibly need minus a microwave, plus enough settings for a group), enjoyed views for days including the morning fog roll out, made fires in the outside fire pit, made a few small fires in the fireplace (was warm while there), lounged on the comfy outdoor couches, worked out on the peloton equipment, spa day’ed in the bath, and slept like a dream in the comfy bed. 10/10 recommend for a couple or a group of six, good amount of room and bedding, dishes, chairs, etc. Host company was super responsive to one minor need, on a Sunday no less, and otherwise we had the place to ourselves out in nature. Birds (eagles!), deer, squirrels, chipmunks, frogs, and more seen all week long
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Butterfly Cottage! There was plenty of space for all 4 adults, and it was well-stocked with towels and cooking tools. We were able to make and eat meals at the house with no issues. My only wish was that there were extra linens (throw blankets specifically), and the living room television was a bit small. The location was also much more remote than we realized – you’ll definitely want to make sure you have a car that is equipped to handle a bit of a climb on a gravel road. It took quite a bit of time to get to any restaurants or stores from the house because of how remote it was. The hot tub was a really lovely amenity. We even saw some wild turkeys roaming the backyard!

Our group had the best time at Clementine Creekhouse! Well stocked kitchen to do all the cooking and baking (made fresh cookies and brownies). We were a group of twelve and felt comfortable spending time together on the first floor with the open space kitchen, living room, and sunroom. Was truly the peaceful weekend getaway that we were hoping for. Thank you for having us!
We had an absolutely beautiful weekend just like we hoped to have ! The house was beautiful and clean packed with good energy and eclectic decor ! Fully loaded kitchen, everything in the house was so perfect and well organized! Stunning nature while sitting on the balcony overlooking the creek while relaxing. The hot tub was a perfect relaxing spot too. Our host was super helpful with every little detail we asked for and we couldn’t Hope for a better place to spend with the family this weekend:) will definitely make this place our new favorite spot!
We had an amazing stay and we can’t wait to book this house again! The views are breathtaking, the house itself is very well equipped, especially for children and toddlers, and everything was extremely clean. It is quiet and secluded but also not too far from great restaurants and farms. Highly recommended!
