This house was absolutely perfect! The decor was stunning the perfect blend of natural and neutral colors was so comforting! All the appliances were brand new! The kitchen was huge perfect for family style dinners! The basement was the best hang out spot with a cute bar area! The hot tub was so easy to access! The loft was the perfect little get away great place to play cards! There were full bathrooms on every floor! Incredible place for a girls weekend! The host was also responsive and answered any questions very quickly! A 5-10 minute drive to the bars and restaurants in North Conway! Great house, location and host!
We had a wonderful time with our family. The cabin is very well laid out with lots of incredible records, books, magazines and games to keep you inspired and entertained. The pool was wonderful and the hosts are incredibly helpful. We will be back as often as we’re able to be. A special place that’s well worth visiting.
We rented both the lodge and cabin for a birthday celebration with family & friends and had an amazing time. The house was extremely clean, the kitchen was large enough to cook for 20, and the pool, tennis and pickleball kept us busy the entire time. The proximity to Hudson was a bonus as well–overall a great experience and would rent again. Thanks!
This was a turn key pleasure from arrival to departure. Private in nature but with a solid starlink internet connection in the barn for netflix and trading fun. All amenities from coffee maker to nice over under washer dryer to extra linens… so many places to relax outdoors in a private slice of nature in Vermont. I will stay here anytime business brings me closeby again and again thank you Andrew/and partner you are exceptional hosts and have a diamond place in nature!! 🙂
We stayed in the beautiful house in Jeffersonville NY.
We arrived and there was a family of deer there to welcome us! They didn’t come back much because of our dog .
We had our coffee each morning on the balcony. It’s so quiet at that time.
We loved the fire pit had at least 4 nice fires there.
If it was too hot we moved the chairs under a tree about 25’ away in the shade.
The surrounding towns were very quaint with farmers markets , music and fairs on the weekends. We went Kayaking a few times down the Delaware and actually saw a Bald Eagle pluck a fish out of the water just a few feet away from our kayaks!!! First time seeing one so close!
Loved that each bedroom had a bathroom in it & the showers had a Seat/Bench in it.
We had a much needed respite and felt super comfy …
We even had 1 neighbor come visit and give us some history about the place!
2 suggestions I would make are:
1- a good broom to sweep the leaves and twigs off the balcony.
2- curtains in the bathrooms.

We didn’t start well as the wifi was not working and no cell service made it stressful to communicate with them and other arriving guests.
However once past that initial distaste, the place was truly wonderful for our stay. Gorgeous setting, all the things we needed for a comfortable stay. The house was exactly what we needed.

Lovely house, spotlessly clean and spacious, lots of thoughtful touches. A/C units were silent and kept the home comfortably cool in 95 heat. We found it was not walkable to Warren St for our family (about a mile, no sidewalks near house), but it was just a short drive. Missed having a microwave, though the rest of the house was well appointed with everything we needed. Overall a good stay and we would book with Red Cottage again!
What an unexpected gem! From the photos and descriptions, we were hoping for a quiet lake house to wind down for a week amid otherwise hectic lives. But this property delivered well above and beyond our expectations. The property was stunning, the views were lovely and all the amenities were top-notch. Things that stood out: the space was large and inviting, allowing each of our 4 adult family members their own space (bedrooms were roomy, bathrooms well arranged, and there were three separate common areas). Also, it is part of a small lake development/community, so there’s access to a pool (and other amenities) within a short drive. The towns of Coxsackie and Athens, while small and quiet, were both a 10 minute drive, meaning easy run for supplies or restaurants if you don’t want to go over the bridge into Hudson (which itself is only about 20 minutes). All in all, a lovely, restful stay.
We just returned from a wonderful stay at Red Cottage and we can’t recommend it enough! This unique escape is truly a gem. The moment we walked in, we were captivated by the stunning views that surrounded us. The architecture is both stylish and functional, providing a perfect blend of comfort and elegance.
The house was immaculate and had all the amenities we could ask for. The open-concept living space was ideal for relaxing and enjoying quality time together.
The location is fantastic too! We were close to everything, making it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Overall, we had an amazing July there, the home is gorgeous, the surroundings are peaceful. The living room dining area is divine…also Red Cottage was kind and helpful whenever we reached out. It’s a high end place that overall delivers. Admittedly, there are areas for improvement, granted we were probably the first somewhat long term stayers. The house was clean but there were several areas of the house – closets and owners storage rooms – which were just messy and it was felt. Red Cottage is excellent but there were several things not explained that I had to be proactive about, of importance – like how to work the pool, and other stuff. No detailed manual or explanations unless we asked. The house was lovely and summery, and yet it lacked in places a touch of true high quality eg pots and pans etc, towels hangers (that were just stuck on), and some furniture (but all useful and practical). Again all this was relatively minor. It made our July wonderful in so many ways.
Our family had a terrific two night stay at Lauren’s home in Peru. The home is about a 15-20 minute drive from downtown Manchester. The home feels brand new, with nice furnishings, plenty of space and a terrific main floor kitchen/family room. The home is on a very quiet road off of Route 11. We would recommend this home to anyone planning to stay in the area.
We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home. The house is stunning, with an unbelievable view of the surrounding forest and river. Everything inside was spotless, modern, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The communication with the host was excellent—quick responses and very helpful with any questions we had.

I wish this was my home! We had a really great time at Red Cottage and would be glad to stay here again. The home is comfortable and in a beautiful setting and had everything we needed for our stay. It was secluded in nature but close to Woodstock, hikes, etc. that it did not feel inconvenient at all.
Lovely Airbnb—the house is beautiful, very comfortable, and has everything you could want for a nice stay in the Berkshires with a large group of family/friends. The kitchen is fully stocked (including oil, vinegar, spices, tons of cooking utensils and pots/pans, and even a coffee grinder). Finding the location the first time was a bit tough using Google Maps, and the instructions from the host were not detailed enough – the road leading to the house is a gravel road off the main road that is not very well-marked. But once we found it it was fine. The hosting company was easy to communicate with and quick to respond when we had questions. Highly recommend!
