The home offered incredible views and a serene, private setting that was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The space was beautifully designed every detail of the interior was thoughtfully curated, creating a warm, cozy, and stylish atmosphere. Even though our weekend was filled with rain and thunderstorms, we ended up embracing the weather and had an unforgettable time indoors. The loft was the perfect cozy hideaway to snuggle up with the family to watch movies and play board games while the storm rolled through. The sound of rain on the roof only added to the charm. The home came fully stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to comfy blankets. Parking was a breeze, and the host was incredibly responsive and professional throughout our stay. While we missed out on some outdoor adventures and the chance to enjoy a BBQ, the comfort and design of the home made staying in a real treat. Definitely recommend this Charm!
Beautiful modern elegance in the woods. The home was beautiful and comfortable. It was very well appointed for cooking and relaxing. Be aware that it is on an unpacked road, which is common for the area. I made it up and down fine but in slipperier winter conditions, it could be something to keep in mind. I’d go back again for at least a week just to decompress on the beautiful deck looking into the woods. Pure heaven!!
Communications were very good and clear prior to our stay. The accommodation was extremely clean and wonderfully comfortable. We enjoyed the area enormously and sometimes walked into the town and shops. Our three generation family played lots of games and prepared meals together. A really enjoyable vacation.
We absolutely loved this peaceful oasis! Perfect for our weekend getaway. The home feels warm and welcoming with eclectic and thoughtful decor. Vintage feels with all the modern updates. Felt like we were staying at a friend’s house- lived in but not cluttered at all. Clean as a whistle, and the beds were super comfy. We enjoyed the vinyl collection and bookshelves on a rainy day. The pond is peaceful, yet full of wildlife- Must love frogs! The babbling brook was the perfect background noise for a quick hike right on the property. Hosts were available but we didn’t need anything from them then since it was all prepped and easy to navigate. Only wish we could have spent more time there!
Deer meadows is a lovely property, we loved the bedrooms with full bathrooms and the kitchen especially. We enjoyed the outdoor areas and the private location. Great space for a family gathering.
The A/C did not work when we arrived (it was 80* in June) but Red cottage was responsive and got it fixed the next day, and provided a refund for the first night. Not ideal but they got it fixed and we appreciated that. Hopefully they will proactively check to ensure the heat/AC is fully functional before future bookings.

This was truly one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. The property was beautiful, even more gorgeous than the photos. The views and design of the house were so serene.
The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, with many tools and cooking supplies. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. Everything was so comfortable and thoughtful. We kept remarking how the owners and team really thought of everything.
We traveled with another family and had 3 kids under the age of 3, so spent most of our trip at the house and by the pool. It was perfect! There’s a grocery store within a 10 minute drive, and the town of Cairo had tons of cute spots for coffee. We absolutely will be back.

The stone house was the perfect spot to stay for our day trip to Acadia and Bar Harbor. It was so unique and special. The location was so quiet and peaceful- not too far from Acadia, but far enough to have the opportunity to see Maines beautiful farmland and small
Towns.
One major key point I want to point out – where Wildwood Collective went above and beyond- when we checked in we noticed that we had no coffee beans as described in the listing. They responded right away and brought us fresh coffee beans within the hour. I know this seems minor but it left a lasting impression on us. It would have been a big inconvenience to go back into the town (at least a 20 min drive) to get beans.
It meant a lot to us and set the tone for the entire stay.

My family and I had a nice and relaxing time.. The place is beautiful some minor things but they were very responsive. I will absolutely recommend this place and will love to come back on a warmer weekend to enjoy the hot tub and local adventures. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home..
I recently went camping at Red Cottage and had a truly wonderful experience. The setting is serene and beautifully maintained — perfect for anyone looking to unplug and enjoy nature. The lake was incredibly peaceful, ideal for a quiet morning by the water or a refreshing dip in the afternoon.

We had a great stay! The place was fantastic, looked just like the photos, and struck the perfect balance of feeling totally private, and just a 10 or so min drive to shops, grocery stores, etc. We brought our 6 year old daughter and she was was obsessed, loved the bunk bed, and wanted to move in permanently (along those lines, I wouldn’t really recommend bringing a kid younger than 5/6 just because there are a lot of edges, rocks, heights, etc, but thats obviously a personal preference). We loved that the top floor was TV free and perfect for hanging out, reading, eating, doing puzzles, etc, with a cozy downstairs for movies etc. There was just one issue at the start, and the hosts were very responsive. We would happily return, and hope to check out the related properties as well!
David’s house is really special. We rented with several other families (8 adults, 6 kids) and there was plenty of space for us all. We loved that we could all have our own bedrooms and bathrooms. The house is so clean, thoughtfully decorated, and comfortable inside and the outside has so much to do for kids (pool, huge yard. Zip line, fire pit). It’s one of the nicest airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Great location close to Woodstock, phonenicia, hiking, the rail trail. We are hoping to return next year.
Very comfortable place and really close to the great town of Livingston Manor + there are a lot of other fun and useful things to do in the area. The decor is a little simple.. but overall, we found it super comfortable and the layoff is great. Thank you we will def look to come back at a later date! 🙏
The house is absolutely gorgeous! I did not realize when booking that it is atop a ravine with a river at the bottom, which you can hear and see throughout the property, which was my favorite part. The house is very chic and well designed.
Our only complaint was the wifi service was not great (to be expected in the country), but this made working from home as we had intended difficult.

Beautiful space!! A little out of the way if your only attraction is Acadia (little over an hour drive), but if you are looking to explore some of the other cute little towns this is a great spot. We loved Belfast. Everything was very clean and it is located in a quiet spot. We had neighbors during our stay but never heard/saw them so it was like we were the only ones there. The only thing to note is as pictured, there is only a bath tub and it is located under a slanted ceiling. That being said, while I loved soaking in the tub, if you are over 5’10” or do not have the ability to sit criss cross in the tub it is very difficult to shower.
Absolutely gorgeous and private location. Beautiful house with lovely decor and comfortable, stylish furniture. The heated pool and hot tub were a dream during the hot summer days and magical at night. Kitchen had everything a chef might need. Instructions were super helpful. Would absolutely stay again!
Our family had a wonderful week! The weather wasn’t the most accommodating for use of the pool, but we did enjoy the time we did have..especially the night time swim with the lights and beautiful sunset.
We made use of all the seating areas in the house, it was great for the kids to get space away from the adults and each other when necessary. We made use of the exercise space and also took walks outside when weather permitted.
The fire pit was great for roasting marshmallows and just relaxing. We really enjoyed our time and can’t wait to come back next summer!
