This place was beautiful! We enjoyed all of the little touches including the thoughtful snack platter, the night lights around the house, sound machine, games, fireplace, and the comfy blankets. The mud room cubbies were so great for all of our ski gear. It really does look just like the photos. So modern and clean. Very pleased with our stay.
This stay was exactly what my friends and I needed to escape the hustle and bustle of the city! Amazing views, clean crisp air, and a relaxing weekend were the perfect mix for my 25th birthday, we explored hiking in the Catskills, enjoyed the hot tub on the property, as well as checked out local food and surrounding towns like Kingston, truly a weekend we’ll never forget!
Nice stay in the woods at the end of March. The nearby houses were mostly empty and quiet. House felt pretty private. Very well furnished and decorated. Nice and clean. Working indoor fireplace was excellent. Functional kitchen. Not a huge house, but nice and cozy three bedroom for a couple families. The nearby Lowell Lake was really nice and within easy walking distance.
A group of (8) enjoyed a peaceful weekend! This home provided exactly the kind of experience we were looking for. The hospitality was above and beyond, we’d book again and have the confidence the next experience would be the same as the first. Each couple came from the city or a great distance, ignoring the commute to enjoy a quiet weekend with friends.
David’s home was a wonderful getaway! It was incredibly comfortable, with a beautiful setting and the soothing sound of the water right off the deck. The space was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, making our stay even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and can’t wait to return!
Absolutely Perfect Stay in Forestburgh
Our stay at the Spirit Cabin was nothing short of amazing. The home is stunning, with meticulous attention to detail in every corner. The breathtaking views made every moment feel special, and the entire space was super warm with welcoming atmosphere.
We brought our dog along and had the best time- BBQ, kayaking, fire pit, sauna, hot tub, and in general – enjoying the beautiful spacious surroundings. The hosts thought of absolutely everything—there was a popcorn kit, a s’mores kit, and a mini bar stocked with everything needed for hot chocolate, tea, coffee and even mixers for cocktails. Every detail was carefully considered, making our stay feel effortless and luxurious.
We truly can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

Beautiful. Such a creative use of space and remodel of a Barn. The multiple levels and open space make it super fun and an enjoyable space for even just 2 of us and our four legged pal. Always fun to have a pool table with ample room to play and multiple wood stoves that were fully stocked ready to be fired up. Kitchen was also stocked with everything one would need to cook. There was a fire ban in effect, so we didn’t get to utilized the outdoor fire pit, but the view from that area is amazing and was still enjoyable to just sit and enjoy being outside. I have to admit having used Airbnb’s around the world – this is truly a unique and one of a kind stay.
We had a really great time at Gilman Pond. The house is so spacious and conveniently filled with all amenities and extras that we may need (coming from an Asian household). We especially love the decor throughout, the cozy media room, the full-of-light office (even when it’s super gloomy outside), and especially the pool table, though we wish the basement could be heated and warmed up since it’s pretty cold down there. Everything else is perfect and immensely exceeds our expectation. We don’t typically re-visit an Airbnb, but we have bookmarked this house for the future. It’s so big that even after 4 days 3 nights, we still feel like there are more to explore with this house.
The Rye House was such an excellent retreat for a long weekend. A fairly short drive from Hudson, we had the best of both worlds—a serene, incredibly designed home with sweeping views and all the amenities, plus easy access to the restaurants and shops of Hudson proper. Hot tub worked great, so did the fireplace. Looks exactly like the pictures, and that was in winter. Can’t wait to come back in the warmer months!
We were totally blown away by Rock n House! We loved every inch of this exceptionally designed space and spent our time finding new things to marvel at. The house is so cool and unique and you feel so connected to nature with floor to ceiling windows everywhere and views in every room. We fell in love with the massive boulder around which the house was built, it almost felt like a living breathing being as it appeared to transform in every kind of light. There is so much more to say but the house really needs to be experienced to be truly appreciated. We are grateful that the owners have decided to share their incredible home so that others could enjoy it!
This is such a gem! The house is gorgeous and immaculately styled. Three families (8 adults, 2 toddlers and a baby) stayed here for 4 days. It had so many ammenities that suited our needs. The children’s room is so adorable, lively, and so many toys. This is pretty rare for Air BnB’s in our experience and really added so much value. The accomodations fit the size of our party well. The kitchen is nicely equipped. We really were missing nothing. We had only wished the weather was nicer so we could have enjoyed the outside ammenities more. But April in the Catskills we did not expect to do so. One minor “issue” was that temperature control was a challenge. It is a large house with baseboard heating. We found ourselves either freezing cold or super hot most of the time. Fortunately, there is a lovely fireplace so we were able to stay toasty. My husband and I planned this trip for his siblings and their kids. We got so many rave reviews from them about how perfect the place is!
We absolutely adored our stay! This was one of the cleanest and most well stocked homes we have ever been in. The location was fabulous, walking distance to the Northshire bookstore and all that downtown Manchester has to offer.
We even arrived to find dog dishes, and a toy ready for our four footed friends. We will definitely stay here again!
