This was a super cute tiny house! If you’re coming for a ski weekend, be weary there really isn’t space for all the bags (but that’s what you get with a tiny house!). Location was great – 12 mins from the main base at Stratton and communication, check-in, etc was easy. Very clean and even had a welcome packet and snacks upon arrival!
We loved the Wildwood’s house! It was 10mins to Lincoln, 5mins to downtown waitsfield, and under 15 to Ellen. Everything was great and you could hear the mad river from the deck. If you have young kids or babies just a heads up the bedrooms get cold. We would happily stay again as the house was fantastic.
Clancy House is beautiful and welcoming, with a cozy woodburning fireplace (and plenty of firewood), a well-equipped kitchen with everything from a pasta maker to a meat thermometer, comfortable beds and couches, plenty of modern bathrooms, a cedar hot tub, gorgeous private woodland surroundings, lots of different seating areas, fun entertainment options, and lots of space for relaxing with friends or family for a weekend. We almost never left the house, we were so comfortable and content there. The hosts were very responsive in trying to deal with a few issues that came up during our stay: they attempted to have a missing blow dryer delivered to us the same day, sent a plumber twice to try to fix a frozen pipe and a nonworking dishwasher, and when none of these issues were able to be resolved right away–due to factors admittedly beyond their control–they gave us a generous partial refund to compensate for any inconvenience. We would certainly return!
What a beautiful snowy weekend at Highland Haus! This renovated home was a lovely retreat for our group of four adults, three kids and two dogs. It’s just five minutes from Bromley and a twenty minute drive to downtown Manchester. The property matched the photos and everything was squeaky clean. We especially loved the comfortable beds, hot tub and expansive views.
The tiny house was so cute! We loved hanging out in the loft and relaxing by the fireplace. It snowed during our stay, and it was so cozy watching the snow falling through the windows. They had a lot of good suggestions for places to go for food and other things to do. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.
Very comfortable house perfect for a ski get-away. Kitchen is fully stocked and comfy living room was perfect for relaxing after. Bedrooms were spacious and well furnished. Driveway is long but not overly steep and plow came early and did an excellent job plowing. Hosts were super friendly and responsive.
This was the second Red Cottage property I visited with a large group, and once again, it was a fantastic experience. The home was beautifully maintained, well-stocked, and perfectly suited for a group getaway.
Communication with the host was seamless, and check-in was easy. We appreciated the peaceful surroundings and the thoughtful touches throughout the space. Looking forward to booking another Red Cottage stay in the future!

Just as described. We arrived at night so the drive was a bit hard to see but its right where google maps shows it. Bad cell reception but fast wifi. The design of the space has all of the cabin charm without feeling old or musty. Great fireplace with lots of wood. The host got back to me quickly when i had questions prior to check in. There were great instructions at the house so i didnt have any questions throughout the stay. The kitchen is simply but sufficiently appointed so if you need something specific, bring it. Great bathroom with good products. The sauna puts this place over the top. Beautiful weekend get away only wish we could have stayed longer.
