My husband and I were looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway and this was the perfect stay. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed. The views were stunning, we enjoyed sitting on the large deck overlooking the mountains. The hot tub was perfect to enjoy on the chilly nights and easy to use. Although we are not skiers I can definitely see the appeal for those who are. We were able to see the slopes from the deck! I highly recommend this stay. It was a perfect spot to get cozy and turn off the outside world for a while. ☺️
What an incredible place. We were in awe of this house’s architecture, design details, and craftsmanship. Sitting in the sunken lounge looking at that boulder is something we couldn’t get enough of and won’t soon forget. The house had everything we needed. It was comfortable and full of thoughtful and expertly crafted furnishings. It’s truly something that we will share with others and hopefully return in the future.
The red cottage was a very comfortable and cozy place to stay with my family. We loved it. It was easy to find. We love the bright light during the day, the beds were super comfortable, the huge windows and the island allowed all us to have dinner together. The house was very clean. Cute little town about 8 to 10 minutes away. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home.
Every year we look for the perfect fall, child-free escape. We found this place and it was everything we wanted. The house itself sits on top of a large hill, completely private with beautiful mountainous surroundings. We spent our first night enjoying the cozy home, cooking dinner and soaking in the hot tub. The next day, we went to Bethel woods to check out the Woodstock museum followed by dinner at the Resorts World Casino. Unfortunately, we did have a bit of wind and a few power lines fell and blocked off the driveway. The management company was quick to respond and sorted out the problem promptly. We were without internet for the remainder of our stay but this wasn’t an issue because we were mostly outside during our visit. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing and quiet time away. The only suggestion I will make is there were no paper towels at all, one roll would have been helpful. Bring your own paper towels!! We would absolutely love to return. 10/10
We had a great time at Red Cottage. The hosts are welcoming and communicative, and the cottage itself is beautiful and cozy at the same time. There was more than enough room for eight of us to comfortably use the living spaces. We also loved being close to great hikes. Like another reviewer noted, sound can carry, but we were able to have conversations and play games downstairs while others were sleeping upstairs without a problem.
The house and the surrounding view was absolutely beautiful! It was super clean and spacious. The high ceilings and the massive windows made the living room feel so much bigger than it was. I also really appreciated the attention to detail throughout the house like the luxury toiletries, beautiful lighting and artistic design. Host was super responsive and friendly which made the experience easier.
I would highly recommend staying here and hope I can come back during the summer to enjoy the pool.

Our stay at the chalet was absolutely wonderful! The space was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The views were stunning, and we loved sitting by the fireplace in the evenings. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and helped us when we had a few hiccups in the space. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!
The girls and I stayed at Jens for a book club retreat, and it was perfect! The house was spotless, cozy, secluded, and had a beautiful view. We utilized the hot tub every day, and on our last night watched a movie on the big screen in the basement. The location was amazing, being so close to downtown Stowe. We would definitely stay here again!
Loved the beautiful Post Haus! Interior is brand new and cozy and fully functional. The red light sauna is a big plus! Modern kitchen is well-stocked and I cooked and baked non-stop. Gorgeous, gorgeous lot framed by a bucolic brook on one side and woods on the other. Lots of space to run around with the dog (or kids). The views from the windows are super relaxing and I enjoyed catching some November sun on the stunning balcony. I came up here with an EV and loved having a level 2 charger at the house! Everything was easy and the host super responsive and generous. I want to come back in the summer and check out all the swimming holes in the area.

This is by far the best place I have ever stayed at in NY. The home is truly beyond incredible, with an unbeatable view that is very rare to find. The host has maintained the place very well, everything we needed was readily available in the home. And was very clean, very neat and well kept with clean sheets and towels. Instructions were clear and everything was operational. Without a doubt would give this beautiful home a 5 star rating.

The weekend that we were supposed to go to the cabin, there was a snowstorm and the location lost power. The Airbnb team was extremely communicative with us and allowed us to stay at a property that had power and switched to our original reservation after their power came back on. We could not be more grateful to them for being so accommodating. This Airbnb was gorgeous, romantic, and a unique getaway. They had more amenities than even listed. We will definitely be returning!
We had a wonderful stay at Perch Lake! The home is spacious and beautiful! The views sunrises are amazing! We unfortunately were unable to checkin on the first day fire to power outages due to a wet snow storm. They were very informative and have said they will refund the nite for us. Out of their control of course! We had another outage when there but only for a delete hours. We stayed for thanksgiving and would recommend the home! The towns near by are super cute and we drove into Hobert which is a bookstore town! Thank you!
We had the most wonderful stay. Having traveled from Rhode Island for an escape from the holidays we had actually rented a hotel in Germantown initially. Without going into too much detail the hotel was not up to our standards. After one night there we began looking into alternatives. we found Hilltop and it looked perfect. Quickly, we were able to secure a booking for the remainder of our trip. Very responsive interaction throughout booking. It proved to be a peaceful oasis for the remainder of our trip and was a very memorable experience. The modern aesthetic was fantastic and we appreciated the architectural thoughtfulness which went into the design. It even snowed during our stay at the higher elevation the property is situated on. We were already planning a return visit to experience the surroundings in the summer. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Great place for our family
Perfect for a family vacation with pets! The house was absolutely beautiful, and so cozy! Very peaceful location with stunning views and we loved seeing the deer in the yard every morning. My favorite thing was the master bathroom shower, it felt like I was at a spa! Each room had its own unique features and decor that our whole family loved! The location was also perfect, just a short drive into the cutest city of Rhinebeck, where we took the Amtrak into the city. It was perfect driving distance to all the places upstate New York has to offer yet still close enough to the city!
We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving. Red Cottag were extremely responsive and helpful in preparation and during our stay. The home is a great place for family to come together with bedrooms on multiple levels and a playroom for the kids. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. The views are incredible, and we enjoyed the large windows. We’d recommend this to any families, and stay again.
We had a great stay. The house was impeccably clean. Freshly renovated bathrooms were beautiful. Very comfortable beds, linens and pillows. The huge couch in the living room was great for lounging with our family of 6. While there are houses nearby the lot is very private surrounded by beautiful pines, very quiet and peaceful.
