Yes, this place is even more beautiful than the pictures. Dramatic and unique space. Very comfortable. Even with very open common spaces, we had people watching TV in one area, crafting in another and reading in yet another area. We cooked an entire Thanksgiving meal in the well equipped kitchen. Loved the two dishwashers. Road is quiet. Could take a walk right from the front door down the road. Very comfortable beds, nice linens and towels. Highly recommend.
Absolutely loved our stay at the Salt House. Super cozy and comfortable inside and the decor is dialed down to the little unique details, like the antique dresser bathroom vanity. Location is a bit out of the way but very quiet and peaceful. The hosts are super nice as well and their local recommendations are spot on! 10/10 would recommend staying here.

We arrived Friday evening in the dark after over a foot of snow fell. The driveway was plowed and all the walkways were shoveled, even out to the hot tub where we enjoyed morning mimosas while it snowed!
The property is nestled in the trees, tranquil and secluded, a winter wonderland!
The house was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-represented in the photographs.
The kitchen was well-equipped, and Wi-Fi was easily accessible.
The location was perfect for us, centrally, situated between Liv Manor and Callicoon.
My only recommendation is to provide floor mats at the front and back doors, especially during the snowy season.
Red Cottage provided great communication before our arrival suggesting what to do in inclement weather, and was immediately responsive throughout our stay. They were very honorable hosts!

We recently stayed at this home for two weeks over Thanksgiving and had a truly wonderful experience. The fireplace was a highlight, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere throughout our stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was nicely equipped, making it easy to enjoy meals together. The location was ideal—quiet and scenic, yet close to all the attractions the Berkshires have to offer. This home has so much charm, and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the season. Highly recommend and look forward to returning!
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Stowe home in December. The standouts were the unparalleled kitchen with its appliances and tools available, the beautiful yard with its snowy tree/mountain views, the number of games and books, and the clean bedrooms.
The drive into Stowe is really short and so nice to be a little distance away and have your own space. The kids (and even adults) so enjoyed the fresh snow, made a snowman, etc in the beautiful yard.
We love to cook together on vacations, so having the well stocked clean kitchen / dining area and fireplace was so so cozy. The number of games and books available was also amazing! We took advantage of that as well.
They also provide plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and laundry detergent so these little touches really made the stay even more relaxing. No worry about running out or washing towels during our slightly longer stay.
We will definitely be back next time we are in Stowe.

This is the most beautiful home I’ve stayed in on Airbnb. It’s thoughtfully designed, blending old & new. Not to mention the property and views from the home are stunning. The natural light in the home throughout the day is gorgeous. This house fit our needs perfectly and was everything we had hoped for in a weekend getaway. We are looking forward to coming back in the future.
This Airbnb was perfect for my family and I’s holiday getaway. The surrounding area/town was absolutely stunning – with amazing views of both the sunrise and sunset. The home and property itself was beautiful – very spacious with lots of bedrooms, but remained cozy and intimate with the kitchen, dining room, and living room all connected ♥️
Was dog friendly as well – our dog absolutely loved it! 10/10 would recommend! ☺️
