We had a fantastic time staying that the cottage in Eldred, NY. Everything was professionally executed and as advertised. Beautiful A-frame cabin with indoor and outdoor fireplaces and a nice sauna. We were a party of 2 couples and were very comfortable during our stay. The property has a cool stream and nice backyard with tons of nature (saw a lot of deer and rabbits).
Overall I would recommend. However, it is on the expensive side for a 1 bathroom, right under $1,800 for a Friday and Saturday in October. It is also by a fairly busy road so there’s a little road noise during the middle of the day.

My fiancé and I, along with our goldendoodle, had a lovely stay with Red Cottage. The house was in a perfect location for us as it was central to several towns and had breathtaking fall foliage surrounding. We were very cozy and felt right at home. Red Cottage responded very promptly and was so helpful.
We (2 families) stayed at the Red Cottage with a 4 month old and a 3 year old. I can’t recommend it enough. My 3 year old (who is a bit Disney obsessed) had so many toys to play with, she didn’t ask to watch movies once.
Also, my friends stayed in the side room with their 4 month old, so it provided a communal space but also privacy.
The kitchen was SO well stocked (way more than a typical AirBNB) and all of the items were high quality—the glasses and pottery were gorgeous, even down to the soap was downright luxurious. My young parent friends and I will definitely be back. The views are impossible to top, and it was SO close to Hudson and Kingston, where we went out to dinner.

We had a great time at Pine Hill. It was a beautiful home that was clean and very comfortable for our group. It was in a peaceful location that was nestled in between gorgeous town. We enjoyed the hot tub and the grounds every night of our stay. Cell service can be spotty but the WiFi was strong and reliable. Would definitely recommend this home and would visit again.
We are a group of friends who wanted to spend some quality time together away from the busy city. We had a wonderful quiet stay at this lovely home. The place was comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen. the bedrooms were clean and cozy. The bathrooms were spacious. The heating was sufficient for cold night. The area is quieter than other places in the Catskills which is what we were looking for. The design of the place is modern, simple, and chic. The host was always responsive and provided all the information needed for a great stay.
The location and surrounding grounds were beautiful. The kitchen, to the bedrooms, to the outside backyard were all really just homely. We did end up having a little bit of trouble with the heat, but we were comfortable. The host was extremely responsive and we were able to get things resolved. Would definitely look to come back with more of our friends – we felt like there was so much space.

I had a fantastic stay at the red cottage with my group of friends. Lots of space to be comfortable and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Flexible check in was very much appreciated. Place was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Lots of towels were provided, fire pits so cozy. Host was very responsive and friendly throughout
Our stay at the cabin was lovely! We were looking for a quiet weekend getaway and this fit the ticket perfectly. It was exactly as cozy as it was described in the listing and was the perfect size for two people. The large soaking tub in the bathroom was especially luxurious and relaxing. The communication about check-in and check-out was very clear. We are definitely planning to come back!
Absolutely beautiful house, very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Lots of space for 6 people to hang out together but also find privacy when needed. We loved the fire pit and hot tub. Our friends with pets appreciated that it not only allowed dogs but actually welcomed them, with dog bowls and even towels for them. We would definitely book again!
We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is so cozy and homey unlike many Airbnbs. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. It’s not too far from the road but is very quiet. We only saw a couple of cars drive by during our stay. The stairs to the upper bedrooms are very steep and open, but were fine for our group with some extra caution. Highly recommend this place! We are already discussing coming back early next year.
Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Beautiful esthetics. Rooms were spacious and light-filled. Loved having two bathrooms and the one off the master was new and gorgeous. The shower was huge and a lively design.
Bed was comfortable and the dark/blackout curtains were appreciated.

We had a wonderful stay yay the Red Cottage! It is tucked away in the woods off the main road, and so was peaceful with beautiful surroundings! In warmer weather the screened in porch would be amazing! All of the amenities were beautiful and the home is stunning. As FYI- The driveway up to the house, even with instructions, is hard to see. The house was out of a few things and the host had them sent to the house asap which we really appreciated!! The walking path was great for our kids, and one morning we saw a large buck in the woods. Would love to visit again!
My wife and I needed a romantic getaway. Andrew’s home was beyond perfect for us. Gas fireplace was warm and cozy. Everything is like new… modern kitchen, bathroom, living room furniture, bed linings, etc. The private deck is truly private and the fire pit next to the pond was also what we needed. About 10 minute drive to Stowe and Morrisville. Highly recommend if you need a quiet getaway for 2.
The view of the lake is gorgeous. There’s lots to do in the area – we spent a week and the time flew by. The house is very comfortable (loved the little fireplace) and clean.
I expected the property to be more accessible (most of it is wooded), and the agency wasn’t able to clarify if certain items were already in the house before we arrived, but overall we had a great experience and would come back again.
