Wonderful secluded cabin that delivered peace and quiet from the country vibes. Enjoyed our decompress weekend cooking, enjoying the hot tub, making a fire each night, and reconnecting with each other. Easy ride from NYC to take a deep breath, slow down and feel the quietness of the home and property.
We had the most beautiful foliage weekend in the Catskills. The house was beautiful with wonderful views and is perfect for a family or friend’s getaway. All bedrooms were very comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed the bbq. The house is in a preserved area and Andes and other villages around are worth a visit. There’s lots to do, from cider tasting to bookstores, horseback riding and hikes.

We had a wonderful stay at the Red Cottage. The house is impeccably decorated and so, cozy. We could have stayed in the house and never left the entire weekend, it was *that* comfortable. The beds alone… oh my goodness..heaven. The house is off a main road, but it has an expansive backyard and still feels secluded. We were even visited by a huge flock of wild turkeys one afternoon. It’s located near some beautiful hiking and several waterfalls and also close to Hudson where there is shopping and restaurants. It was the perfect autumn getaway with the most spectacular fall foliage. The team that handles the bookings is also very responsive and helpful. 10 out of 10!
Such an amazing spot to pass a few days in Vermont. The cabin is in relatively close proximity to some great spots for essentials and just close enough to Woodstock and other attractions to feel like you’re in the wilderness without being too remote. While at the house though you don’t see any neighbors and you’re surrounded by a stunning landscape, beautifully framed by the prominent wall of windows.
The house has a very Scandinavian-inspired interior, minimal and free from clutter. The layout is efficient and intuitive. It’s very well kept and clean.
If there were two things I’d change about the house it would be to have a more robust audio offering (even just a pair of Sonos 5 speakers in the living space would offer a much nicer listening experience), and a hot tub. But the absence of these things in no way impacted our general enjoyment of this special place.

Recommend curtains for the bedrooms. In front of large heat register off kitchen is a piece of wooden flooring that will cause someone a foot injury. We had it marked with newspaper so no one in our party would catch it in their feet. Also recommend better lighting in walkway to house and some type of railing for those who are not completly stable on their feet.
Otherwise, the stay was a pleasure. Would definitely use your services again.
We stayed at the house with my husband, grown daughter and 2 grown nephews as well as our 1 year old Labrador retriever and there was plenty of room. The fenced in yard was a bonus with our dog. The kitchen was well stocked with high quality pots and pans, a gas stove, a Bosch dishwasher. Of note, there was no microwave but I did mention to the hosts this would be a desirable addition if not exactly French in feel.. We didn’t use pantry items but there were spices, oil, vinegar, etc. The bathrooms were clean with state of the art showers in both. The rest of the house was rustic but comfortable for hanging out. Though the house was managed by a company rather than owners they were responsive to all my questions and requests . We would come back again when we visit the Catskills.
What a great time we had! Got to see a lot of fun places and just enjoy nature, saw some deer around the property and the fire pit was so nice at night! Great place for a weekend getaway! Property owners were easy to contact and not a lot of rules and regulations which was refreshing when staying at a VRBO. Highly recommend!
This was our first time using airbnb so we didn’t know what to expect, but this was a fantastic experience. The property was as beautiful as advertised and Gordon was very responsive. It was a pleasant surprise for my wife and me to check in and find wine and flowers and a note of congratulations on our recent marriage. We’ll always have fond memories of our visit to Stowe, VT, friendly people everywhere and an excellent host making our stay so comfortable.
The Green Mountain Tiny House was absolutely perfect. First, it’s tucked away so we had total privacy surrounded by gorgeous woods and a beautiful view. Very quiet. The interior is spotless, feels new and is very well-planned; efficient use of space, everything one could need, beautifully decorated. We spent five days and cooked all our meals there and it was perfect. The full-size oven and roomy fridge came in handy. The bed is definitely the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on. The electric fireplace adds to the cozy ambience. Outside there is a fire pit with wooden Adirondack chairs and fairy lights that make the perfect place to start and end the day. The owners left a lovely welcome basket full of goodies and the most beautiful house guide. We made good use of the close proximity to Jamaica to get all of our supplies and gifts from West River Provisions. They have everything you could need and the owners/staff are super welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this tiny home!

The place was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. We had a wonderful time and already want to plan to come back next year!
We enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and comfortable. We appreciate the flexibility of the check out time ( we ask to 1 hour late check out and positively had a yes response) .
The house is 20 min drive from South Hampton and it was a bit hard for us to drive back and forth with a baby.
In summary, we like our stay and the house is recommended.

We had a fantastic fall stay at Derry Woods Cabin. The house was clean, cozy, and spacious enough for everyone. Here are some highlights of our stay:
•The living room was incredibly spacious, and the sectional was super comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors.
• The beds and linens were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were well-equipped with plenty of towels, shampoo, and other essentials. Everything was exceptionally clean.
•The view of the forest from the deck was stunning, especially during our warm and sunny fall weekend. We were just a few minutes away from a great trail, ideal for an easy hike.
•The hosts were very responsive and thoughtful, leaving snacks for the trail and providing easy access with a simple door code.

• Check-in is at 4 PM, and check-out is at 10 AM.
• The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, oil, and a few spices, but you’ll need to visit a nearby market or grocery store for other ingredients.

It was a super smooth experience and David has been very flexible. The house is well equipped for all guests, it’s cozy and the nature views made it perfect for our trip. Everyone enjoyed waking up to the stream and spending our mornings on the balcony. Couldn’t see fall colors in backyard but the drives around did the job!
We will surely like to come back for our next Vermont trip!
