It was great – the setting is beautiful and private and adults and kids all had a great time. We’d definitely stay at their place again – or another home within their portfolio. Also, our teenage nieces LOVED the record player and the records that were out to be shared. We came home one night to find them listening to a Beatles record and playing cards – two 16 year olds! It was such a nice scene to walk into and so nice of the owners to have their record collection out to be enjoyed. Thanks!
Really sweet little house on a quiet peninsula in Maine, we loved the proximity to the lighthouse and beach nearby which was a peaceful place for a morning walk. It’s about an hour in to most parts of Acadia, but nice to be away from the crowds. The house is perfect for two people and we were very glad that they thoughtfully accommodated our dog as well with a cozy bed and nice dog bowls. We are some of the first guests to stay so we did have a few little kinks, but the host swiftly and thoughtfully worked to resolve the issue. We had a great stay.
Loved our stay at this cozy, comfy and stylish cottage! A fully equipped kitchen and wonderful beddings! Time outdoors by the firering and party lights were so refreshing. Breathe in the outdoors!!
Minutes away from small charming towns to enjoy. A short drive to Bethel Woods Center of the Arts. A “Behind the Scenes” tour is a must to experience the history of the 1969 Woodstock Music & Art Festival.

We met our relatives here, for 2 nights to hike in the White mountains. It was lovely to have the hot tub for soaks after the hikes. This property is a short walk to a private beach on the Saco River where you can swim. North Conway has lots of great restaurants.

Me and my boyfriend loved the area, and the space was exactly what we wanted to get away for the weekend. There mini home it’s self was amazing it was so comfortable, the only thing we would say is the water would get could quickly but we expected that for the last reviews. Overall it had everything we needed for our getaway. Definitely recommend staying here and definitely coming back!
Best stay! The home was exactly as described and perfect for our trip as it was close (within 15 minutes) to many cute main street shopping and restaurants. Cozy feel with plenty of space for all of us. The screened in patio was my favorite spot to relax and take in the beautiful views! Every room had amazing views. Mary and Samantha at Red Cottage were very accommodating and provided us with everything we needed for a great trip. Definitely want to stay here again!
I can’t say enough good things about my stay here. I went with 5 girlfriends for my 40th birthday and we had the most magical time. The cabin has so many elements and areas to experience- from movie nights with the projector to relaxing in the hot tub after a very long hike to eating dinner together at the huge table and boogying under the disco ball. The home is beautifully styled with so many wonderful details and it’s all so high quality, no expense has been spared to make this place a next level experience. ✨✨✨
It starts with the drive there. It is exceptionally stunning. When you pull up to the house it’s even better than you pictured it. Check-in was a breeze. When you enter the home you immediately feel welcome! You walk up the spiral staircase to the main area and you are greeted with a burst of sunlight and warmth, with the most impressive fiddle-leaf fig I have ever seen as the centerpiece of the whole place and views that take your breath away. It’s both rustic and luxurious. You instantly feel a sense of calm and relaxation! I have stayed in many Airbnb’s all over the world and this was easily the most majestic place I’ve ever stayed. A true escape. Easy, fast communication with Red Cottage. Comfortable beds. Super clean. They have truly thought of everything here. We will absolutely be back.

If you are looking for a house with privacy in a rustic, wooded setting, this house is a great choice. There are very few homes around the pond, and it was very peaceful and quiet sitting by the pond, in a kayak (they provide 2 plus a canoe), or on the back patio overlooking the water. It is a spacious, very comfortable house with a great kitchen, and many sitting rooms overlooking the pond. A couple of caveats: the pond is down a fairly steep hill with primitive steps and may be difficult for some people to negotiate, there were several minor problems but communication with the management was excellent and in each case a repairman was at the house the next day to try to rectify the problem. I expect that we will rent this house again.

From every room. We played pool, cooked in the very well appointed kitchen and swam in the lovely pool. We even played badminton on the lawn! We really loved having wine and appetizers on the wrap around porch at sunset. From start to finish our stay was just perfect! Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at the Barn@Doodletown Rd! The space is beautifully renovated—clean, stylishly decorated, and offers various seating areas perfect for group conversations or quiet reading. The pictures don’t do justice to the thoughtful design and spaciousness. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a memorable getaway with friends. We can’t wait to return!
Amazing, chic home in a great location in Saugerties. A perfect place for a relaxing weekend with friends or family, with plenty of space and all the amenities and comforts you’d want. Andrew and Christine were responsive and friendly and the weekend was a breeze from check in to check out. The price also could not be beat!
What a wonderful find! The house has oldschool charm but designed in a tasteful modern way and the land is full of entertainment for kids and adults alike. The playground, the campfire and the creak made the stay really fun. And the neighborhood deer provided entertainment for everyone.
The kitchen is small but very well equipped and unlike most airbnbs, there were a lot of spices and condiments to make life easier.

Unfortunately I have to voice the same con that other already did – there were no curtains or blinds which made is slightly weird (bathroom windows) and annoying at night (street lights). Sounds also carries a lot in the house and so if you’re a group going to bed at different times, you’ll hear a lot of walking and talking.
But, overall for the price it was an absolute hit and I would recommend it to anyone.

This is definitely a 5-star experience staying at this Westkill Home! The accomodations were very clean, kitchen well stocked, the view gorgeous and the pool/hot tub a really fun experience and added to the relaxation. If you want a nice splurge for a group or large family this is it (we went in September while the weather was still warm but the not blazing hot). We loved the outdoor fire pit, lounge chairs and outdoor eating area. We also enjoyed the beautiful bedrooms, unique arcitecture and the bathrobes :). We had lunch at Phoenicia Diner and a beer at Westkill Brewing. Everything in the home was user friendly and we had no hiccups. Management team customer friendly and responsive. Hope to come back!
The cabin was beautiful! If you’re someone who tends to overpack, don’t—because they have everything you need. There’s a full kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, and the bathroom is stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The only feedback I have is that it would be helpful to add shades to the bedroom windows. My toddler had some difficulty sleeping due to the darkness at night, and in the morning, a lot of light came in. But we made it work! I also wish the other two queen bedrooms had fans, as it got a little warm, though opening the windows helped. Thank you so much for this amazing stay!
