The tiny home was very cute and modern. It was very clean and a great place to stay. The nature nearby was beautiful as well. We expected not so great water pressure from other reviews but it was a not a problem at all and the hot water was great. The in unit laundry was also super helpful and they provided detergent which was nice. My only complaint was small things they provided were not working. The lighter did not work, making it much more difficult to start a fire. The lantern didn’t work either and none of the extra batteries they provided did not match the lantern. The string lights outside also were not working. All of these were super minor and did not stop me from giving a 5 star rating. Would stay again!!
The location of the home was magical, located on a beautiful pond, outside of town that was quiet and serene. The house was perfect for two people. It was immaculate, the decorations and it was very well stocked. We love the modern style of the home and the bathroom was superb, quite beautiful and spacious. We would love to stay again.
Our family (of 3 generations) so enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The house was spacious and offered several relaxing gathering spots, inside and out. Also, we appreciated the dining area on the covered deck so we could eat outside in the evenings.
The grounds are well maintained and the lovely gardens add to the experience of staying here. Our family had fun in the pool, the tennis court, the pickleball court, and the bocce court. Oh, and there’s a basketball hoop, too! We were so happy that the house came with all the equipment we needed for those sports.
Any questions we had during booking and our stay were answered very promptly. This is a fabulous property!
This place is just LOVELY. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and most definitely plan to return. We were worried about the house being on a double-lined road but it was not a problem at all – very little traffic on that street. We really enjoyed heading 2.5 miles up the road to the falls – this is a MUST DO!
Our group of 7 very much enjoyed our time at this rental. Plenty of room for everyone – inside and out. Everything was clean and tidy. Very well-stocked kitchen and new appliances. Master bedroom had an excellent mattress. Beautiful and well-maintained pool with more than enough floaties and toys and a pool house that had a fridge and a restroom.
The host organization was very responsive when we called for help with various items. For example, we had a few troubles with the electronically controlled items (washer, entry keypad). There was a glitch with the trash pick up, but in the end, all was fine.
Finally, the well ran very low toward the end of our stay, resulting in brown water in the house. The host organization was very responsive regarding this issue, but all that could be done was to wait for it to replenish itself. During this time, we used bottled water. After about 24 hours, we were able to shower, but continued to use bottled water for drinking.

Everything smelled, felt, looked like new. Very clean, loved the wood smell from the house. Everything was very aesthetic, very nice place to stay at and take pictures too. Host was very responsive and nice too. The location was out of nowhere, was a little scary at night but the house was equipped with top notch security system which helped us feel safe.
Our stay at Journey’s End was exceptional. Some of our group were new to this part of the Catskills and fell in love with the nearby towns. The location was super private. I love an open floor plan and this house had lots of room to spread out with a complete wall of windows (as pictured) to take in the great view. The grounds were manicured and there was plenty of room to play games and walk our dog. Clean up was a easy and there were lots of towels, cleaning supplies, etc. The bathrooms were updated and we loved the custom closets. We were there during a heat wave and the split air conditioners worked great, especially in the bedrooms. The living room and kitchen were a little warmer because of opening doors, cooking etc., but not uncomfortable Would love to spend some time in the fall when the trees are in color.
Wonderful inviting home, well appointed and rooms well sized. We loved the screened in porch’s on the main floor and the master also on the main.
The location was terrific we could hike at Bash Bish falls, drive into Egremont center, Great Barrington or go the other direction to Hillsdale and the book barn, Copake lake etc. we spent most of our time together in the house though because it feels like home and all talked and played games and used the beautiful deck and BBG. Highly recommend and plan to stay again!

Loved this place! It was very peaceful and private. The inside was cozy and clean. The bedrooms were on the small side, but all we did was sleep there so it didn’t matter. The outdoor space was amazing, from the decks to the fire pit and down to the river, just gorgeous! Loved that our dogs were welcome, they had as much fun as we did. I would definitely stay there again. I imagine the fall and winter would be stunning there as well.
We had a wonderful experience with our family at the house! The house was fully stocked with everything we needed, and they even had different shampoo available for our toddler. The bbq was very easy to use and we loved having such a beautiful outdoor space that was such a close drive to the center of Great Barrington.
Staying at the Red Cottage was exactly what the doctor ordered. Spent 3 nights for my birthday with a couple girlfriends and our dogs and it was a peaceful getaway where we could reconnect with one another and nature. The host was quick to respond to questions and flexible to our needs. The property is set well off the main road for privacy, and the hot tub and fire pit made for great summer nights. The kitchen is well stocked for all your cooking needs, and couches comfy for movie nights in. Didn’t want to leave, but will be back soon!
Loved every aspect of it!! The architecture and design were phenomenal! We enjoyed all the natural light coming in during the day and the surprise features of the house like the upper level bathroom window into the living room. The placement of the Corbusier lounge under the skylight was genius. Throughout different times of the day, the sun revolves around the boulder and there’s an organic sound bath of the nature outside…so healing! We had some rain come down and the design of the funneling roof around the rock created a waterfall. It’s definitely a house perfect for a getaway from the city to reset and recharge.

We had an incredible stay at this unique property! The place was spotless, with everything feeling fresh and new. The decor was a perfect blend of cute and modern, adding to the overall charm of the home. The host provided very clear instructions, making our stay hassle-free. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the thoughtful touch of healthy snacks waiting for us was much appreciated. This property truly stands out, and if we find ourselves back in the area, we would stay here again. Highly recommend!
Great location on a mountain road; quiet and remote, but with easy access to many hiking trails, waterfalls, and all the northeast kingdom has to offer. The modern unit was recently renovated and the porch overlooks a lovely landscaped, beautiful backyard with a small pond. Solid wifi and spacious kitchen. Comfortable bed. Highly recommended for a couple.
We had a great time in a glorious property with magnificent views around us.
The 5 cousins loved playing in the pool, learning pickleball, and watching frogs in the pond.
The outdoor area was our go to place with baby swallows chirping above.
Evenings around the fire pit and rainy day puzzles on the enormous dining room table.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The house has a great layout. The supplies in the kitchen are fabulous. We have two suggestions for the owner:
1. Let people know the Keurig you have only takes one specific pod. Few people would have these. It’s disappointing to not have your coffee when away.
2. In the master shower, a non slip mat in the tub would be great. It is very slippery in there.
Everything was fantastic and we enjoyed our time at your place.
Amazing Airbnb. David was extremely attentive and responsive, he made us feel right at home. This house is very spacious, plenty of room for everyone and great for our girls weekend. The kitchen was well stocked, organized and had a lot of glassware, spices, etc. The pool was bigger in person than the pictures, it was very clean and we loved that there were plenty of pool floats available. Perfect place!
The red cottage was very beautiful. Everything inside the house was good quality and nicely placed. They had enough of what they said they would have. They had enough space for everyone besides for one too bunk bed that was a little impractical because it was too close to the ceiling. Other than that everything was great!
Our group had a lovely time staying at this AirBnB! We were close enough to Hudson to go do things and then our time at the house was a peaceful respite. The bedrooms are nice and there are four bathrooms. The third floor loft space is great for a small family. The door to the stairs closes so small children can’t get out easily. In most rooms, air conditioning worked well. We lost power in the hurricane but it was restored pretty quickly. A fire alarm needing batteries was quickly fixed. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you’d need. There are kids bowls, plates, cups and silverware.
Would definitely go back if we are traveling to this area with a big group. It’s hard to find a place that can comfortably sleep 12!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this property! We were in town for a wedding, and most of the group was staying at a hotel up the road. The house was a perfect tranquil getaway for the two of us after all of the festivities each day. The primary bed was really comfortable, and bathrooms were extremely clean. The open floor plan in the kitchen and living room made it a great space to hang out when we had downtime during the weekend – it was raining on a couple of the days, and we enjoyed reading by the fire in the wood-burning stove!
There were a couple minor things that were not working when we visited, but the hosts were extremely communicative about them, and none greatly impacted our experience.
We’ll definitely book again if we return to the area. Thank you for having us!!
