Lovely lovely modern home in green mountain area. We enjoyed our time off hanging out around the home and across the road at the river. The small details were definitely deeply appreciated aside from being in a very lovely space. Highly recommend for folks who want to disconnect and be among the trees.
Stunning is an understatement for how beautiful the grounds and view are at this house. Every detail inside is designed to the highest standards. The beds and bathrooms are above and beyond what you find in luxury hotels. It was simply the most amazing place I have spent a weekend away at near NYC.

From the moment we connected with Andrew through the Air BnB platform, the whole process was a breeze. He was so accessible, and the house was everything we needed! Not far from town, lots of walking nearby and so much privacy. And yes, the Wifi is pretty darn good for such a remote place. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat.
What an amazing stay! My family and I stayed for a peaceful wrap to Spring Break and were totally blown away. The rare breathtaking view alone was beyond worth the trip from NYC. Tons of fresh air and adventurous experiences for the kids and a serene break for my husband and I. The house was impeccable from its modern style and furnishings, open layout, lux family-centered kitchen and living space and beautiful views from all bedrooms with plush bedding. Booking, chk-in, chk-out and all in-between response times were immediate and easy. Thank you for the ultimate getaway!
Our stay at Lilac Hills was wonderful for a wedding weekend at Callicoon Center Resort for our entire friend group. We enjoyed the spacious house where everyone could be together with room for dining, watching TV, and chilling on the patio together. We were a very close drive to the wedding venue which made it super convenient. Loved our time at the house!
This stay was beyond our expectations. It was clean, comfortable with plenty of fun things to do. The host paid attention to every little detail to make the experience super relaxed and memorable. Everyone in our group had a great time and were so impressed by the extra amenities (food, tea, drinks, treats for the dog). I can’t say enough what a lovely stay. Plenty of indoor and outdoor entertainment. The host responded quickly to emails and we were fortunate to enjoy all the amenities offered including the pool. We would love to stay again.
A great, easy getaway from NYC for us! We thoroughly enjoyed the secluded, quiet space (2 acres of wooded privacy), the modern yet comfortable accommodations (many conveniences). Keen to explore the surroundings and Hudson Valley area, the nearby town is quickly accessible for some exploring.

A total gem in the Catskills! We’d never been out this way before and we’re really grateful to have found this place. This cabin is straight out of a magazine — modern, cozy, and felt like new. We relaxed in the living room and enjoyed the deck. Nearby trails were incredible. I did have to work while we were there – the wifi is fast and it’s a great environment to clear the mind and get creative. And it’s just a hop, skip, and a jump from NYC. Can’t wait to go back and do it all over again. Excellent hosting with quick and clear communication. They don’t make you go through a ton of hoops, like some rentals. Looked just like the photos.
The house was a great place to stay to visit the area and neighboring towns. The home is even more than the pictures- it is very well equipped and a great place to spend time, both indoors and out. Hot tub and fireplace were bonuses! We loved the decor, beds were comfy and it was an overall great air bnb!
Nestled in idyllic surroundings, the Library Retreat proved to be an oasis of tranquility for our Mother’s Day Weekend getaway. Accompanied by two other families, we found ample space to relax and unwind. The kids absolutely loved the playroom in the main house and exploring the expansive grounds. The breathtaking views from the Red House added to the charm, creating a picturesque backdrop for our shared breakfasts. It’s also the perfect location—just a 9 minute drive to the Main Street in Pine Plains and ~20 minute drive to Millbrook and Wassaic. We can’t recommend enough!

The house was absolutely gorgeous with plenty of space for everyone to stay. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook and make coffee while we were there. We enjoyed time in the hot tub and were grateful for the swim towels provided. The location makes it perfect for a weekend getaway! All check in and check out instructions were clear and we enjoyed some of the local recommendations listed in the welcome book.
Super easy and accommodating with a last minute booking – the accommodations were nearly new and aligned with the pictures. To note: the upstairs/master bedroom is open to the downstairs as it’s a loft configuration, so if you are renting it as a group recommend to be mindful of that from a privacy perspective. I would certainly recommend this listing for anyone looking for a clean, modern farmhouse getaway from NYC.
Wow. This architectural gem is a real find. With soaring ceilings, a perfect kitchen, and great outdoor space. Set on two wooded acres with a melt water stream steps away it was the perfect escape for my family. My child loved hiking through the nearby woods which were very calming, yet it was also a perfect drive to some really great skiing and excitement at Hunter and the Windham Mountain Club. This is a fantastic getaway for any family. We will be coming back every year we can!
We had a great stay!! Only thing I’d improve is the water pressure in the main bedroom bathroom and black out shades as the mornings were hot and bright. Other than that we had the best time and would definitely be back. The outdoor area is amazing and the house is fully equipped and comfortable and cozy.
A group of us were in town for a wedding, and the location could not have been any better. We were a two minute drive from the venue – Arnold House – as well as a 5 minute drive from downtown Livingston Manor. The house itself was beautiful, clean and well-furnished. The grounds/outdoor space and hot tub were well-maintained, and the property was private. The hosts were also very responsive and helpful, even arranging for an iron to be delivered to us on the day of check-in! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, and would come back if our travels bring us back to Livingston Manor.
Everything is exactly as show, each room and each bathroom speak for themself. Simply stunning. The cabin was very clean. I love the privacy of the cabin. The idea of no blind or curtain in the living room, dining room and kitchen window was a beautiful idea. The sunlight brightens up every aspect of the cabin interior. Thank you for welcoming my family and my two sister’s in christ into your beautiful cabin. The next time , we returned , we are booking your lovely cabin.
This place has a very nice view if you love to be surrounded by nature. The master bedroom has a great view facing toward the pond. If you are up very late, and you want to be outside, but it is very dark, there’s a separate room that is connected to the master bedroom full of large windows that can give you a great view .I like almost everytjing about the house.
We family celebrated a birthday at Red Cottage. We had an amazing time. The home is beautiful. Very well cared for, clean and well stocked. It was very kind to have snacks and other foods available to guests. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. By far, it was the Air B&B stay we have ever experienced. Thank you so much for allowing us to create some of our best memories 😊😊😊
Most well-deserved five-stars. The place was spacious, beautiful, and well equipped. When I mentioned that I couldn’t find coffee filters, they went above and beyond to make an instacart order to get them delivered by early morning (it was 10pm or so when I messaged them on AirBnB). Hosts were responsive and helpful when I messaged them during our stay.

The house is large and spacious with almost everything you could need. I had a party of 8 and there was more than enough room for us to hangout and eat all at once. The kitchen is packed with every utensil you could need so anything.
The grounds are beautiful. Lawn is well manicured. The pool and the hot tub are amazing. The pool house also has a bathroom, ice maker, fridge and speaker, again everything you could need. There’s a great grill as well.
The host is responsive we needed an item and they responded and were able to accommodate the ask.
My one recommendation is the Walmart and ShopRite are the closest stores but they are a 25 min drive away so make sure you get everyone you need before heading to the house because it’s an hr round trip to pick anything up.
My party and I really enjoyed. I would stay here again.
