This property is beautiful – a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city living. Our kids loved the hike behind the house and enjoyed spending time near the pond. Lisa was a gracious and responsive host, quick to help answer any questions we had. We cooked many a good meals in the chef’s kitchen (tip: check out Guido’s in Great Barrington!), gathering around the large farm table. We loved the wood-burning fireplace with a seemingly never-ending supply of wood thanks to a great property manager, Bill. All in all, you won’t go wrong in spending your time in Ancram at Lisa’s beautiful home!
Very cute little two bedroom house. We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect place to visit family in the area and work from home. Really appreciated all the snacks and consumables, there’s a very good selection of all of the things that you forget to bring. Wi-Fi was great for working from home would definitely stay again. This Airbnb was one of our favorites we’ve ever stayed in. The place is identical to the photos, incredibly well appointed, all the comforts of home, everything feels so clean and lots of nice comforts like toto toilets, a cute little gym, a brand new sauna, all on a gorgeous lake setting. I am kitchen-oriented and this one is FULLY STOCKED including snacks, wine fridge, coffee bar, every appliance you could want and cookies on the counter. If you came with your family there is so much to do between the kayak, the pool, the hot tub, the lawn games, the fire pit, the BBQ, the sun deck, the cozy fireplace, the kids play room, and the list goes on. We came to get away from the city and relax in the woods and our stay was so peaceful and serene. My husband gets creeped out if a rental isn’t perfectly clean so I’m very fastidious when it comes to cleanliness and this place checks all the boxes. Can’t wait to come back.
We had an amazing experience at the Red Cottage! The house was perfect – each room was decorated beautifully and it was a great escape from the city. The location is very convenient, it is close to town but in a very quiet area which was perfect for walks when the weather allowed. We would recommend for anyone wanting to visit the area and hope to come back soon!
The Red Cottage was a dream home for a weekend with my family. It’s beautifully decorated, the amenities are top notch, and was such a peaceful and comfortable place for our group of 5 adults, 1 baby and 1 dog.
The kitchen is super well equipped and stocked and a joy to cook in. We had a great time cooking and having meals together. And even though the house is decorated in a very sophisticated way, it still felt very safe for the baby to run around and explore. And the kids’ room is stocked with crayons, papers, and toys, so there were plenty for my kiddo to play with.
We unfortunately had a lot of rain and freezing cold during our stay, but the house stayed nice and toasty, the gas fire place added extra warmth, and the amazing sauna had us all enjoying the cold. Although, we’d all love to come back in the summer for the pool and lake activities…!
The hosts were very easy to communicate and were very helpful. Thank you so much for everything. We would return in a heart beat !

Make travel plans around this cabin! I stayed here for my bachelorette and we never wanted to leave! So many fun things to do inside and such a beautiful space. No flack on the space or host, but do take her weather warnings seriously! My toyota corolla struggled getting up the big hill to the cabin in the snow. Tiffany, however, offered a ton a advice and help!
It was our first time staying in a tiny home and wildwood collective set the bar pretty high. It’s was perfectly decorated and had everything we needed right inside. I highly recommend coming to this cabin if you haven’t already. It was also only 20 minutes away from stores so it was always a scenic adventure through Maine.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The house is amazing, thoughtfully equipped and perfect for a family. We used almost everything in and around the house (games, sauna, fireplace, …) and at the same time didn’t miss anything. It is conveniently located near several skiing areas that also provide outdoor activities in the summer. We had such a great & memorable time!!!

Hidden away in the woods, loved walking along the trails that start on the property. Located centrally between Woodstock and Saugerties, short drive to downtown areas of each.

Picturesque views from every window. Massive deck up high. Rushing river was the only sound we heard. Quiet (silent) road.
Tranquil. Interior is very clean, uncluttered, comfortable, cozy, modern appliances if you want to cook.
Bathroom is big. Sauna is a really fun amenity. Washer and dryer if you want to do laundry.
Really effective heat/cool once you figure it out. Bedroom big unit is the one that is the workhorse. Strong internet.
We were there during a windstorm and lost power for a few hours but host was very responsive. Generator on site as a backup.

We were so thrilled immediately upon arriving at the property. Everything from the quant property, to the comfortable beds, to the high end kitchen made our stay so enjoyable. The beautifully designed interiors and historic garden were the perfect backdrop to our family weekend. The waterfall across the street was a favorite with our three year old. Will def come again!
I stayed here with a group of my friends (and one baby) and we had a wonderful long weekend. It was a great home base with one of the best stocked kitchens as far as appliances go out of all the Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. We were very conveniently located to attractions around Stowe and though it was a little cold to use the balconies, we all think going back in the summer to sit out there would be great! The hosts were super responsive and the house was beautiful.
We had a fabulous stay at Red Cottage – a beautiful, thoughtfully designed home with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Despite an unseasonably late rain/snowstorm local area power outages, we had such a lovely time and our hosts could not have been more responsive or helpful. Highly recommend!
Staying at Treehaus was a dream! The space is unique and beautifully appointed. It is impossible to capture in the photos the overwhelming beauty of the river and mountain waterfall right behind the cabin, the sound of the rushing water, the cabin nestled into the rocks and trees, it was all perfect. We enjoyed ski season , and now want to return in the summer to swim.
This place was soooo amazing! It was even better than photos. I was honestly shocked by how beautiful it was. It was incredibly cozy – the furniture is lovely, the bedding/blankets were super soft and it was really clean. Very very spacious – it was great to have a room for each person in our party. Super convenient location. The only snag was that we struggled a bit with the door, but we figured it out! I would absolutely stay here again to visit Hudson or the surrounding area.
We celebrated a birthday weekend at Casa Magda and had a great time! The spot was remote and private and offered a great escape from city living. We did all of our own cooking in the beautiful kitchen which had all pots, pans, plates, silverware, glasses and cooking tools to serve 8 guests. The listed perks of the hot tub, disco ball, record player and heated bathrooms floors were all very easy to use. The house had several spaces to relax, eat and play games. We did not venture in to town on our trip bit did pass a small grocer on the way if you forgot any essentials. There were plenty of places close by to grab well priced firewood from. All in all we had a great trip and appreciated the ample space for 8 people.
