My family stayed here in December and it felt like we were in a Bob Ross painting. The property is beautiful and peaceful and everything we looked forward too. The house was spacious yet warm. The kitchen was well equipped. And our Children loved the Jacuzzi. We brought our service Dog and were pleasantly surprised that the host provided dog bowls and even toys.
We only left the house twice, one was to Woodstock which is about a 50 min drive, but a scenic one. And the other time was to Liberty which is 15 min away and has an indoor Trampoline park that the kids enjoyed. Overall it was a great experience and we look forward to coming back again, hopefully to see some snow.

Booked this last minute for a quiet NYE celebration with friends and it was the perfect setting. The house is immaculately designed and every detail was incredibly thoughtful. The home is very close to the Main Street and was an easy walk to go explore and go window shopping. We loved all the nook and cranny spaces to have conversations and also spacious enough to play games. Would definitely stay again and recommend it anyone looking for a zen moment.
This is easily one of the nicest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. While the pictures are amazing, they don’t do justice to how unique and incredible this space is. The house is meticulously maintained and thoughtfully prepared for guests. The host was super responsive and proactive as well.

We had a great stay at Phoebe’s Nest – between 4 adults and 2 young kids there was ample space and we enjoyed the cozy living and dining areas. The hosts were super responsive and the cabin is picturesque in the middle of the woods. The stairs to the second floor are steep as described but with the handle bar and extra caution everyone (including our 2 year old) did fine. We would happily stay again!
We stayed at Red Cottage with 5 adults, two kids, and two huskies and the place was more than comfortable. It’s private and peaceful and only a 2hr drive from the city.
We fell in love with every detail of the house. It was very tastefully decorated and at the same time had everything one can need during their stay.
Although we were sent a very informative and helpful list of things to do/places to eat in the area, we opted to just stay in to enjoy the place, and its views.
Communication was always very easy, and the team was always very responsive. The few minor issues/concerns we had, were solved via messaging.
The Red Cottage team is very present and helpful if needed but also give you your space.

Casa Magda was a designer dream home. It was beautiful and pristine clean but full of warmth and life that made for a perfectly cozy stay. The house is even better than the photos capture, particularly for the kitchen. The kitchen is a chef’s kitchen which I absolutely took advantage of – it is expansive with every utensil, appliance and cooking device you could hope for. The location is also great – just off the main road so highly accessible to nearby towns but felt secluded and peaceful.
My wife, our two small children and our 15-yr old dog stayed at the cabin and had a great time. We loved all the art and decoration that made it feel like someone’s actual home (instead of the “Ikea experience” you sometimes find). The kitchen was actually usable, and we felt very comfortable. Loved how clean everything was.

Great communication from hosts who provided clear, detailed instructions for a seamless check-in/check-out. As others have mentioned, it can be tricky to find the house– definitely recommend downloading the map beforehand as service is quite spotty in the area. Overall great stay, the house provided us with the perfect quiet getaway over the holidays!
We had a wonderful stay here despite poor weather for several days. The surroundings are beautiful and it’s not far from the village of Stowe which is very quaint. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever encountered during our Airbnb stays and the fondue pot was a ton of fun. Thanks again!
This home was everything advertised and more! We comfortably stayed with 2 families of 4, and a small dog. The open spacious layout offered gorgeous views and many opportunities for cozy interaction. We made good use of the incredible kitchen and state of the art appliances. The hosts thought of everything you’d possibly need in the kitchen. Everything is top quality and tastefully decorated. The propane fireplace added the right amount of warmth and ambiance during our stay. The kids enjoyed having private space in the loft and the basement as well. The location was very convenient, close to town and very close to the mountains. Many shops and conveniences near by should you need something quickly! We are already planning our next trip back! We really enjoyed our stay. Tiny house was perfect for two of us (plus our dog) for a weekend ski getaway. The house is in a fairly remote location, which allows for peace, quiet & beautiful surroundings. You will need to drive a bit to most stores & restaurants, but many ski mountains are only a short drive away. They have really equipped the tiny house with everything you need and created a cozy vibe too.
The house is lovely! The kitchen is huge and great, the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The hot tub is new and well maintained and we loved the fire pit! Wonderful house for relaxing! The hosts were very responsive! When we needed a baby gate to keep our toddler from going upstairs, they sent us one the same day! My only 2 notes is that the dining table is awkward – bolted to the ground and hard to sit comfortably around; also the bathtub wouldn’t hold water so giving baths to our infant was difficult. Regardless we’d happily stay again!
We stayed here with extended family – grandparents, two couples, and 4 grandkids. The space worked very well for adults and children. We stayed in the winter so could not enjoy the pool, but the property was beautiful. We’d love to return in the summer. The house was exactly as described, had a well-stocked kitchen, and was a great place to stay.
Very cozy and comfortable place just a few minutes driving from Stowe. Many nearby attractions like ski resorts, trail parks, restaurants, grocery stores. It’s located in a very quiet neighborhood with all the privacy and silence one needs to relax and enjoy the beautiful Vermont. The balcony to the backyard is really charming! There’s plenty of trees and a pond in the property that were particularly beautiful in the snowy weather. Very recommended.
We had a lovely stay. The house is clean and very organized. It is a little hard to find as it is behind the fire station but other than that awesome. It has a lot of original charm but with nice upgrades as well. Because the original structure is very old, the sound does travel. Adults laughing downstairs did keep the kids in the bunks up some. The bunks are in a communal space with no door (it says that in the listing, so we were aware). So just keep that in mind if you are traveling with another family and have a young child that you are planning to have in the bottom bunk. But great house over all.
My friends and I had a wonderful stay. The space is huge, well maintained and equipped. It was the perfect space for a weekend of skiing, but would have also worked if all we were doing is retreating from the city. It is a great space for group fun. I would go back any time. The host was welcoming and kind. They even give us a complimentary later stay. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.
We had such a lovely time! The house is absolutely stunning and cozy. We spent hours just hanging in the living room, listening to music, next to the beautiful wood burning fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessities and was super clean! The beds and linens were soooo comfy. The entire surroundings are so peaceful and the views are incredible! The host is extremely responsive and very sweet – going the extra mile and allowing for a late check out without even having to ask. There was a snowstorm and they came by to plow for us which right in the morning which was great, and we’re very accommodating and always available if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to be in the area and is only a few minute drive to the amazing Stissing House. Thanks for everything!
This was a perfect location for our family to gather and celebrate the new year! Very clean and comfortable and so spacious. The kitchen was wonderful and perfect to cook in and the huge table was used to gather and eat and play board games on. The view with the comfortable couches and fireplace was and ideal gathering spot. Would love to go back during any season of the year, do much to offer.
I had an amazing weekend at Little River, the house was stunning and the location by the river was even better. It snowed the weekend i went which made it extra magical. The fireplace and sauna was the highlight of the weekend. The recommendations for local restaurants and coffee were perfect. I can’t wait to come back and book our next stay.
It is a perfect place to stay while skiing at Okemo. It is a 10 min drive to the base lodge. It’s great for families or two couples. Having two bathrooms is great and the layout has maximum privacy.
The kitchen is big and easy to cook in. We loved the wood burning stove as well! There are two couches so plenty of seating and space.
Parking was plentiful and easy. Firewood was supplied.
