This home was everything advertised and more! We comfortably stayed with 2 families of 4, and a small dog. The open spacious layout offered gorgeous views and many opportunities for cozy interaction. We made good use of the incredible kitchen and state of the art appliances. The hosts thought of everything you’d possibly need in the kitchen. Everything is top quality and tastefully decorated. The propane fireplace added the right amount of warmth and ambiance during our stay. The kids enjoyed having private space in the loft and the basement as well. The location was very convenient, close to town and very close to the mountains. Many shops and conveniences near by should you need something quickly! We are already planning our next trip back! The house is lovely! The kitchen is huge and great, the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The hot tub is new and well maintained and we loved the fire pit! Wonderful house for relaxing! The hosts were very responsive! When we needed a baby gate to keep our toddler from going upstairs, they sent us one the same day! My only 2 notes is that the dining table is awkward – bolted to the ground and hard to sit comfortably around; also the bathtub wouldn’t hold water so giving baths to our infant was difficult. Regardless we’d happily stay again!
We stayed here with extended family – grandparents, two couples, and 4 grandkids. The space worked very well for adults and children. We stayed in the winter so could not enjoy the pool, but the property was beautiful. We’d love to return in the summer. The house was exactly as described, had a well-stocked kitchen, and was a great place to stay.
Very cozy and comfortable place just a few minutes driving from Stowe. Many nearby attractions like ski resorts, trail parks, restaurants, grocery stores. It’s located in a very quiet neighborhood with all the privacy and silence one needs to relax and enjoy the beautiful Vermont. The balcony to the backyard is really charming! There’s plenty of trees and a pond in the property that were particularly beautiful in the snowy weather. Very recommended.
We had a lovely stay. The house is clean and very organized. It is a little hard to find as it is behind the fire station but other than that awesome. It has a lot of original charm but with nice upgrades as well. Because the original structure is very old, the sound does travel. Adults laughing downstairs did keep the kids in the bunks up some. The bunks are in a communal space with no door (it says that in the listing, so we were aware). So just keep that in mind if you are traveling with another family and have a young child that you are planning to have in the bottom bunk. But great house over all.
My friends and I had a wonderful stay. The space is huge, well maintained and equipped. It was the perfect space for a weekend of skiing, but would have also worked if all we were doing is retreating from the city. It is a great space for group fun. I would go back any time. The host was welcoming and kind. They even give us a complimentary later stay. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.
I had an amazing weekend at Little River, the house was stunning and the location by the river was even better. It snowed the weekend i went which made it extra magical. The fireplace and sauna was the highlight of the weekend. The recommendations for local restaurants and coffee were perfect. I can’t wait to come back and book our next stay.
This was a perfect location for our family to gather and celebrate the new year! Very clean and comfortable and so spacious. The kitchen was wonderful and perfect to cook in and the huge table was used to gather and eat and play board games on. The view with the comfortable couches and fireplace was and ideal gathering spot. Would love to go back during any season of the year, do much to offer.
We had such a lovely time! The house is absolutely stunning and cozy. We spent hours just hanging in the living room, listening to music, next to the beautiful wood burning fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessities and was super clean! The beds and linens were soooo comfy. The entire surroundings are so peaceful and the views are incredible! The host is extremely responsive and very sweet – going the extra mile and allowing for a late check out without even having to ask. There was a snowstorm and they came by to plow for us which right in the morning which was great, and we’re very accommodating and always available if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to be in the area and is only a few minute drive to the amazing Stissing House. Thanks for everything!
It is a perfect place to stay while skiing at Okemo. It is a 10 min drive to the base lodge. It’s great for families or two couples. Having two bathrooms is great and the layout has maximum privacy.
The kitchen is big and easy to cook in. We loved the wood burning stove as well! There are two couches so plenty of seating and space.
Parking was plentiful and easy. Firewood was supplied.

We felt right at home staying at Andrew’s place. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our weeks stay. Andrew was extremely communicative and accommodating. Driving to Stowe for a day of skiing was a piece of cake. Additionally, having a heating garage with the snow was amazing. It is a beautiful piece of property and we really enjoyed staying there. I had a hard time connecting to the WiFi, but Andrew was very responsive and took care of it right away. We would not hesitate to stay there again and highly recommend his place!
A group of us stayed in Eric’s home for a ski trip for a long weekend. Eric sent very clear instructions on check in as well as using the hot tub/fireplace which was super helpful. Check in was a door code which made for a seamless experience getting into the house! Eric was a very accommodating host and followed up during check in time to make sure we had no issues/questions which we appreciated.

Fantastic and proactive host with many helpful tips and open communication. The scenery is serene and peaceful, very remote with privacy for your party. The nearest town is very close by( 8 min drive ) charming and overall friendly locals. For sure a nice place to get away for a relaxing weekend. Well stocked and maintained, the basement game room/area was a nice addition. Can use some loving with the unfinished ceiling but overall nice and spacious. A pool table would be an amazing addition as well! For sure top 5 Bnb’s I’ve stayed in, would recommend. Thank you for a wonderful weekend Red cottage!
Very cozy house off a dirt road in a wooded area, yet an easy 5 minute drive to town. The house was super well equipped – gourmet kitchen with all the tools necessary to cook anything you’d like. We have a 4.5 year old and 20 month old so I appreciated the baby gear they supplied – we used the high chair, baby gates, and kids’ plates and utensils. Definitely a great stay; we hope to be back someday!
My friends and I just spent the weekend at Casa Magda and to say that we had a blast is an understatement. The house was immaculate and stocked with games, books, vinyls and overall amazing vibes. The location is incredibly ideal, nestled in the charming town of Windham. The space is styled to perfection – loved the selections of art work, furniture, and especially the neon lighting and disco ball!! Movie night in the loft was awesome, as was soaking in the hot tub as the snow fell. Instructions were crystal clear which made navigating the house a breeze. Love how Tiffany provides house and hot tub slippers for all guests – such a thoughtful touch! Also appreciated the curated house playlists. We’ll cherish the memories made at Casa Magda for life! 10/10 recommend booking your stay!
The perfect little escape. We had a lovely stay that felt private without being too far from town. The A frame was stocked with all the essentials and was thoughtfully decorated to make for a very comfortable weekend away. The wood fire stove really added to the cabin atmosphere and the charcoal grill outside was a nice cooking option. We got a light dusting of snow which was pretty magical through the big windows and skylights. Our hosts were also very responsive which made it easy to get settled in quickly.
I had an amazing weekend at Little River. This is one of the most stunning Airbnb’s we have stayed in. The house was beautiful and super comfortable. The location by the river was awesome. We even woke up to a dusting of snow. The fireplace was the highlight for us, for sure. The house is extremely clean and very organized. There are notes throughout the home to serve as reminders on how something works, which was a nice touch. Even though you’re in the woods, there is so much natural sunlight and the hosts did such an incredible job modernizing this cabin. Definitely a meme worthy place that we thoroughly enjoyed and would love to come back to for a peaceful weekend.

Andrew’s home was absolutely beautiful and even better than we expected! even with 2 snow storms while we were there it was easy to find and navigate to. We were close to downtown stowe as well as to other activities like the Ben and Jerry’s factory and Cold Hollow Cider Mill which were great visits! We highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back and checking it out in the summer too!
