We did a family cabin trip here for 2 nights over the christmas holiday. Highly recommend a stay here!! The location is nice and secluded while also being a close distance to nearby activities. It rained most of our trip, so we ended up spending all our time at the actual house and we definitely made the most of the amenities – we enjoyed the overall spacious rooms, the hot tub, the kitchen, the games/puzzles. The space is beautiful and well-maintained, and the hosts are super responsive and helpful!

The place in the Catskills is beautiful and my family and I are planning to stay there again. We went over the Christmas weekend so a lot of things were closed. We want to go back during a normal week to take advantage of the wonderful small town nearby.

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful property with spacious, comfortable, very clean and well equipped farmhouse. The host is highly responsive, flexible and helpful. Perfect place to spend quiet happy time with family or friends. We intend to visit again soon and recommend Five Acres Farm without reservation.

This place was amazingly beautiful and cozy and clean. Our family spent Christmas there and they made sure to have TWO trees and beautiful decorations, it was like being home. It was located in a very private and peaceful country community, most places about 10-20 miles away. We didn’t go out much because most things were closed due to the holiday. We just enjoyed the hot tub, playing games, cooking in the gorgeous kitchen with a view, dancing, playing with the dogs and watching movies. It was the perfect getaway. The hosts communicated very well and quickly. We couldn’t ask for more. Thank you!
The house and experience was very consistent with what most of the reviewers have previously written. The location is very bucolic and peaceful while the house is very modern and updated. Lots of nice little features throughout the house including: a small sauna, heated floors and a proper card table. While the skiing was limited by the lack of natural snow, it was nice enough to visit some of the nearby towns like Brattleboro and Manchester and just relax. Great place to stay with friends or family. I would definitely come back in the springtime as well as the winter.
We had a fantastic stay at The Post Haus! The description perfectly captured the modern, mid-century charm of this Vermont cabin. The wood-burning fireplace and sauna added a fun touch.
The scenic location by Ball Mountain Brook was as picturesque as described. The outdoor area with the fire pit and river access was a highlight for the kids. There was a fun draw filled games and crafts for the kids who found this to be very entertaining.

Pristine tiny house with plenty of amenities. Whether you choose to stay in and enjoy the home or go out and explore Ludlow or Manchester, or hike Jamaica State Park. This is a great spot.

The location was ideal – peaceful country feel, yet close to Great Barrington and all the Berkshire towns. The house had the feel of a ski chalet but with modern convenience. It was a great place to stay with our six year old daughters and grandparents. Lots to do around there, including horseback riding down the road at Blue Riders – great place to take kids for lessons. All in, it was a very nice place for a family vacation.

The cabin is private but not too remote, the interior design is impeccable and the hosts are so welcoming (there were little signs around the cabin that made us feel right at home, and Alana answered any questions about the area very quickly!).
A visit here is highly recommended…. We are already dreaming about our next stay!!

Amazing location in proximity to Stowe. 20 min drive even during the busy Christmas/New Years period. Only downside is the road leading to the home is muddy, and will require a 4 wheel drive car and careful attention to the road, other than that, this place is absolutely perfect for a family visiting Stowe. Home itself is perfect, well appointed and great for relaxing after a day of skiing. Would highly recommend to anyone.
We really enjoyed our stay. Tiny house was perfect for two of us (plus our dog) for a weekend ski getaway. The house is in a fairly remote location, which allows for peace, quiet & beautiful surroundings. You will need to drive a bit to most stores & restaurants, but many ski mountains are only a short drive away. They have really equipped the tiny house with everything you need and created a cozy vibe too.
This is easily one of the nicest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in. While the pictures are amazing, they don’t do justice to how unique and incredible this space is. The house is meticulously maintained and thoughtfully prepared for guests. The host was super responsive and proactive as well.

Booked this last minute for a quiet NYE celebration with friends and it was the perfect setting. The house is immaculately designed and every detail was incredibly thoughtful. The home is very close to the Main Street and was an easy walk to go explore and go window shopping. We loved all the nook and cranny spaces to have conversations and also spacious enough to play games. Would definitely stay again and recommend it anyone looking for a zen moment.
We stayed at Red Cottage with 5 adults, two kids, and two huskies and the place was more than comfortable. It’s private and peaceful and only a 2hr drive from the city.

We had a great stay at Phoebe’s Nest – between 4 adults and 2 young kids there was ample space and we enjoyed the cozy living and dining areas. The hosts were super responsive and the cabin is picturesque in the middle of the woods. The stairs to the second floor are steep as described but with the handle bar and extra caution everyone (including our 2 year old) did fine. We would happily stay again!
We had a wonderful stay here despite poor weather for several days. The surroundings are beautiful and it’s not far from the village of Stowe which is very quaint. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever encountered during our Airbnb stays and the fondue pot was a ton of fun. Thanks again!
Casa Magda was a designer dream home. It was beautiful and pristine clean but full of warmth and life that made for a perfectly cozy stay. The house is even better than the photos capture, particularly for the kitchen. The kitchen is a chef’s kitchen which I absolutely took advantage of – it is expansive with every utensil, appliance and cooking device you could hope for. The location is also great – just off the main road so highly accessible to nearby towns but felt secluded and peaceful.
We had a wonderful stay at Red Cottage over the New Year’s holiday. House was beautifully decorated and well stocked with all the essentials. Great communication from hosts who provided clear, detailed instructions for a seamless check-in/check-out. As others have mentioned, it can be tricky to find the house– definitely recommend downloading the map beforehand as service is quite spotty in the area. Overall great stay, the house provided us with the perfect quiet getaway over the holidays!
My wife, our two small children and our 15-yr old dog stayed at the cabin and had a great time. We loved all the art and decoration that made it feel like someone’s actual home (instead of the “Ikea experience” you sometimes find). The kitchen was actually usable, and we felt very comfortable. Loved how clean everything was.
