The cabin was warm and cozy. The view from the window made us feel like we were in the trees. The area is beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was stocked and filled with useful items, it never felt like we did not have what we needed. The host responded right away to any questions we had. She was very nice and accommodating. I recommend going to anyone looking for a quick getaway trip from NYC.
My family was booked for another Red Cottage property, but the other property presented a problem. The management reached out to me proactively and gave me three options including rebooking at this property. My family truly enjoyed our 1 night 1 day stay. Host was attentive, proactive, and timely. Can’t wait to rebook.
Our stay at Journey’s End was absolutely perfect! The property is gorgeous, house is how clean and beautiful, kitchen is stocked and the hosts were so helpful. We are definitely hoping to come back again! The fact that every couple had their own bathroom was the best part – makes this house perfect for any getaway!
Beautiful space with thoughtful design. They literally had everything you could need and more – including a heated pool, cold brew, chilled wine coasters and heated toilet seats! Looking forward to booking another place through Red Cottage – they really make the whole process smooth and pleasant. Would definitely recommend!
The place was quite suitable for children during our stay. The adults were able to relax and catch up downstairs while the children played upstairs. It was also wonderful to have them run around the property with no worries. Although it is close to Tivoli, Rhinebeck and Red Hook, we mostly enjoyed our time enjoying the house. The fireplace and record player were a nice addition! Would love to return in the warmer months to enjoy the pool.
Luxurious modern space with everything you need to stretch out and relax. Less than 10 minutes to North Conway village. You are the first house off the main Road so it isn’t deep into the wilderness but! You don’t hear the street noise at all. The convenience to everything is worth the location not being remote. This house had a fireplace, bunk beds, a bar, board games, fire pit, comfy beds, air hockey, and all around high end finishes. Also a great view from the back windows. The only thing I can say that would be helpful would be smooth pavers or some sort of matt that connects the back door to the hot tub, right now it’s just jagged rocks so definitely need flip flops to walk to the hot tub comfortably. All in all I would 100% re book this house.
My wife and I stayed here with our dog and we loved it! The house is very cozy and had everything we needed during our week stay. The property and the river access was amazing and being able to enjoy it out on the deck was a huge perk. There are a ton of good restaurants/breweries near by and some great trails for hiking. I highly recommend staying here!
Fantastic accommodation! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to have a little weekend getaway in Stowe. The hot tub and views were perfect. It is in a quiet area but close enough to all Stowe activities! Gordon was a great host, very responsive and helpful with recommendations. Would definitely stay here again!
Cute tiny house – looked just like the pictures! We didn’t use the outside areas during our stay, but inside was basically all as described. Some highlights: kitchen appliances & amenities all worked great for our cooking needs, loft area was a fun hangout spot, shower stayed toasty warm, and A/C & heating units kept the temps & humidity in the sweet spot for us (as needed). Pretty quiet neighborhood and beautiful woods behind the property. Check-in & check-out were a breeze thanks to their thoughtful instructions & messages.

Our stay here was wonderful! The home was clean and cozy and had incredible lake views. The kitchen was stocked with all of the essentials. Between all of the books, games, and puzzles and the two TV viewing areas, we hardly minded having to stay indoors on a rainy weekend. We would absolutely stay here again!
(One minor note for anyone with little ones: our stay was shortly before the beginning of rifle season, and we were a bit startled the first morning to hear gunshots. (The sound carries quite well over the lake.) The hosts assured us that hunting is strictly prohibited within 500 ft of residential areas by law.)

Andrew’s place was amazing! The location was beautiful and a very close to drive to Stowe’s downtown shops and restaurants and desired hikes. It was a rainy trip, this place was so cozy to stay in, watch movies and look at the view. We enjoyed a fire outside with a beautiful view as well. Andrew was super helpful and responsive, he was a great host! Would 100% stay again.
The home is just as the pictures describe, and I love being in a contemporary place in the mountains. The dramatic view through the very large window wall when it’s snowing is exceptional.
Only one thing to note: if you love to cook and you are above 5‘7“ you will certainly hit your head on the vent that protrudes a few inches beyond the cooktop, I started cooking from the side.
Other than that it’s an incredible space that’s both comfortable, cozy and dramatic.
