Our stay at this AirBnB was so magical. The open floor plan was great for our big group and it was a dream to cook in the giant (and very well stocked) kitchen. We also loved the backyard with the hot tub and beautiful stream running through. Lots of great hiking trails around too! The hosts were also super responsive and helpful. Overall, it was the perfect weekend getaway!
What a wonderful house. Beautiful spot in the woods, with lovely accommodations. Very comfortable beds, modern spotless bathrooms and great kitchen! The living room is inviting, with large couches and gas fireplace and a large picture window looking out on the woods.
Only caveat is the 4th bedroom is a bed nook under the stairs, not a separate room.

The cottage and property were both beautiful. The area and location are fantastic. We had a little issue getting into the place when we checked in the first evening, and because of the time we did not hear back from the property team until the next day. We did connect with Airbnb support, which provided some help, but ultimately got ourselves in. Outside of that one snafu, truly loved the place—a great setup for a weekend away as a couple or as a group of friends. Would love to return.
Love, love, loved this bnb. SO cozy, SO clean and had modern touch to not make it feel like eerie! Ive never stayed at a bnb before so I did not expect to have the host supply things like fresh towels, pots/pans and even shampoo/body wash. Im super impressed and would love to stay again (and even redecorate my house to feel like this place lol) The surroundings were also extremely peaceful.
The weekend was great. Although we were only there for a couple of nights, it was a great getaway in a clean house with fantastic amenities like their hot tub (great for star gazing at night too). Felt very cozy and right at home. The Red Cottage contacts were extremely responsive to any questions that popped up and overall enjoyed our stay a lot. Would definitely recommend.
My husband and I stayed here as a getaway to celebrate our anniversary and we were blown away. This is the best airbnb we have ever stayed at by a long shot. They put so much care into every detail to allow for the best experience. Even something as simple as the binoculars provided prove that they want each visitor to enjoy the house and the location to the fullest.

The town of Narrowsburg is so easy to get to and offers great shops and restaurants. We highly recommend going The Heron at least once.
The communication with the Red Cottage was very thorough and timely with clear guidelines and directions. We felt well taken care of the entire time. We will definitely be back!

This was such a fantastic last minute weekend getaway!!! I fell in love with this property immediately. The house Is set back from the road with so much privacy. The couch was super comfortable to chill out on a rainy day. We slept in the room with a king size bed it was a very spacious room with a balcony that was great to take in the beautiful scenery. The hot tub was the best way to end the day. The peaceful surroundings were hard to leave!!! We will be back again!! Thank for a wonderful experience.
The home was beautifully designed and curated. It was perfect for our weekend getaway. The only thing we had wished for was blinds in some of the bedrooms, but mainly the primary bathroom for some additional privacy/ light blocking. It was absolutely stunning outside and was very secluded and surrounded by trees. We’ve already talked about visiting this bnb again!
We loved our stay here! The surroundings were beautiful as the fall leaves began to change, and we enjoyed our own Vermont beer and cheese tasting on the deck, from nearby breweries:) The interiors are beautiful, cozy and we felt right at home with all the gracious amenities – to include an incredibly stocked kitchen. Wi-Fi was good for a few days working remote w/ video calls. We scored a reservation at Edson Hill for dinner and it was a highlight for our visit. Thank you for having us Jen and Jayla – we can’t wait to come back during the winter season!
Andrew’s place was just as described. It is convenient enough to downtown Stowe while being situated in a very private area. The backyard is as gorgeous as it looks in pictures and it’s the perfect place to unwind for the evening.
My husband and I also noticed immediately upon walking in how clean the place was and the attention to detail that was put into this place. My husband met Andrew briefly and he was super friendly and accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Beautiful home and property with views of the mountains. The pictures don’t do it justice! Tons of natural light and the home is designed with everything you could possibly want. Details like heated floors, Sonos speakers, and magnetic auto closing bug screens on doors. We had such a comfortable stay, and we hardly wanted to leave the house! Can’t wait to return!
Lisa, the host, was excellent with communication and accommodated all of my group’s needs from sending additional photos ahead of time, to allowing us to check in a bit early, and even letting me host my mini wedding ceremony in her beautiful home with our immediate family of 10. The house was breathtaking and somehow even more amazing than the photos. We didn’t have great weather for our weekend and the pool is not currently functional so we didn’t get to use the property fully but the covered porch and fire pit were hits among my family. We also loved fishing in the pond, even in the rain! I would recommend this property to any group for any occasion because it really is so versatile. It was more than enough space while still feeling warm and homey. My entire family loved their beds and linens so much that we even checked the mattress tags so we could purchase the same ones! Our only complaints were the bathrooms were not stocked with shampoo, the master and others only had body wash, we had to run out for things like that and paper towels, we noticed what seemed to be black dog hair in the sheets of the master bedroom and there were cigarette butts on the patio and previous guests smoking inside, which we happened to see on the security system camera at the front door when trying to lock up the house. Although there wasn’t a smoke odor inside the house that was noticeable. All things that were very easy to overlook!!
We had a great weekend at this lovely property in Great Barrington, about a 7 minute drive to town. The house was very clean, bright, airy, and the backyard was absolutely stunning- the fire pit and screened in porch were wonderful. The linens and towels were all high quality and the beds and bedrooms were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was functional and well appointed. The living room was cozy and stocked with games and puzzles.
From the minute we walked in we felt at home and didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay. We’d love to come back to this beautiful home.

This is a beautiful, peaceful place. It’s perfect for a relaxing getaway if you need to just unplug and rest. The area is not bustling with things to do beyond communing with yourself and nature, which was totally fine with us. We enjoyed the pretty landscape, abundant wildlife, and the absolute darkness of night.
The climate controls for inside the house is not particularly self-explanatory, but once you figure it out, it’s fine. Just something for guests to be aware of.
