We stayed at this property for our weekend upstate as we attended the Woodist festival.The house is in the woods and is very secluded. You definitely feel in nature with the large windows even when sitting inside. We loved the indoor wood burning stove and the outdoor fire pit and wished we had more time to use both.

Beautiful new build in nature! Not completely secluded as there is a small cabin nearby, but very quiet and peaceful. House is amazing.

Great place for a friends gathering!

We stayed here with our family, including our 1-year-old, and absolutely loved it. The house is incredibly well-equipped, and the view is just stunning – even more beautiful in person than in the photos. It felt like a real home rather than a rental – warm, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. We had planned to spend most of our time exploring with visiting family, but we ended up staying in more because we didn’t want to miss out on the peaceful setting. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing property and hosts, would love to stay again!

Yes, this place looks exactly like the pictures — and it truly is that stunning Connecticut getaway with a picture-perfect lawn view and a sleek, modern pool. What the photos don’t show you is how it feels: like you’re staying at your impossibly chic friend’s house while they’re away traveling (probably in Paris for Fashion Week and staying at Costes).
You open the fridge and, to your surprise, there’s a bottle of Cristal — surely a mistake, you think. Forgot your moisturizer? Don’t worry, there’s Barbara Sturm everywhere. From the impeccably stocked liquor cabinet to the most comfortable hybrid mattress, every detail is a notch above what you’d expect from an Airbnb — right down to the stack of plush Loewe pool towels casually waiting for you in just when you think they forgot something.

The Nordic Cabin was an absolute gem, even cuter than the photos. Incredibly tasteful decor, well equipped kitchen, sun-drenched and open space, cozy couches and beds, fantastic art works and book collections. Conveniently situated in Chatham with a beautiful surrounding, perfect haven for our weekend getaway with a small group of friends. The property management was thoughtful, accommodating, and responsive. Thank you for having us!

The home was so beautiful – exactly what we were looking for! Extremely peaceful and gorgeous.

The barn was stunning. Such a lovely autumn weekend in such a special space. The most cozy airbnb I’ve stayed in 🙂 Loved the long dining room table, hammock, fireplace, projector tv, and hot tub.
Lots to do in the area – we did a float trip down the Delaware river and an awesome dinner in town at the Black Walnut. Highly recommend and hosts were responsive.

Stayed here for a girls weekend and WOW was it perfect! Beautifully decorated, well-appointed, and extremely spacious. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and there are multiple living spaces to gather with the group. The property is stunning and peaceful! Will absolutely be staying again in the future!!

Super nice space, quiet and out of the way but Barryville (such a cute little town) is just a few minutes down the road. Bathrooms were great, kitchen was great, every room came with a phone charger and towels. Little things like that made the space super comfortable. Highly recommend!

The surrounding nature is very pleasant and tranquil.
– kitchen: nicely equipped and organized
– salt water pool: warm and very pleasant
– gym: excellently compact esp. for the classic lifts; also has ample free weights and kettlebells
– home design: highly copacetic, lots of subtle attention to detail
The hosts were responsive and did their best to answer our questions.
Friendly note for future guests: vegan restaurant “Figwood and Fig” in Port Jervis is highly recommended.

We had the best time at this Airbnb. The house is stunning — far and away, one of our favorite stays. Red Cottage was very communicative, providing us with timely and thorough updates about local fire/drought warnings so that we knew not to use the fire pit (which was beautiful). All in all, it was an incredible stay. The only note I had was that the listing doesn’t fully convey how cool the expansive and private outdoor space and views of the river are — was such a pleasant surprise! Absolutely recommend — we would love to stay here again, and soon.

The house was wonderful with plenty of space for our large family. The town of Athens didn’t have much to offer but we enjoyed the short ride to Hudson. We spent lots of time outdoors both on the property and in the area surrounding Hudson. Beautiful home and nicely furnished with tasteful decor.

We had an amazing weekend at Bush Kill Park Lodge! The house is beautiful and had everything we needed for 9 guests, including the perfect kitchen and appliances to cook a big meal together. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the screened-in sunroom and the hot tub. The large, wooded property feels very removed and relaxing with no neighboring houses in sight, but is still just a few minutes away from anything you may need in the town of Monticello. It was a little difficult for us to locate the house when we arrived after dark (Google Maps led us astray!), but we were incredibly happy with our stay and hope to return soon. Highly recommend BKP for a relaxing weekend getaway!

It’s in an absolutely beautiful location, the place itself is super modern and clean. It has great amenities and an amazing fire pit for cosy evenings. The hosts are super helpful and great with communication!

The cabin is very comfortable and free of clutter; it’s location is also beautiful and serene. Great view of the Piscataqua River from the back deck and the dock, which is a short 3 minute walk, is lovely. As described, the cabin is not secluded; the backyard neighbors are quite close and curious but very friendly. We enjoyed grilling on the back deck and cooking in the kitchen. The location is perfect for visiting your kid at UNH and for heading into Portsmouth. Highly recommend staying at this cabin!

Enjoyed the blissful atmosphere – truly secluded in the Green Mountain state. I enjoyed the sauna and sound of the running water outside. Clean place. Tough to sleep in the master bedroom if everyone in the house isn’t already sleeping. Basement is a nice getaway if you can’t just go outside. Disappointed I couldn’t build a fire with VT’s restrictions. OTherwise great stay – close to State Park & Waterfall hike.

A great spot to stay if visiting Manchester. A quick drive into the main town area full of shops and restaurants. This space is as described and felt so clean and comfortable after a long day of travel. Would definitely come back to the area and this home!

Someone with a designer’s eye pulled this place together. It has modern amenities and comfortable, midcentury-modern decor inside the box of a charming pre-war home. Very cool. By day it’s a sunny space; at night you can turn on the fireplace inside or make a fire in the firepit outside (it’s right off the side deck). The place was spotlessly clean and we loved the king bed in the master bedroom. The hip little town–Livingston Manor, with its markets, brewpubs and restaurants–is a five-minute drive away. Perfect fall getaway! We’ll be back.

What a wonderful little weekend stay! It was such a cute space, and the outdoor patio with the fire pit and string lights was perfect for hanging out in the evening.

This space was absolutely gorgeous. Very clean and well designed/decorated. The neighborhood was secluded but also not too far off the beaten path. Bathrooms and showers were spotless. I felt so comfortable staying here. Would love to come back in the future.

This was a beautiful home. I am a local who had family come from out of state for my mom’s celebration of life. There were seven of us and we had enough room for everyone. I highly recommend it and we are even talking about doing another family get together in the future and we hope we can stay there.
