This was a wonderful place to stay for 3 nights while picking our kids up at camp. I was able to easily work remotely from the cabin (great wifi) and we found the kitchen to be exactly what we needed – and everything was modern and clean. Great areas to walk in preserves on nice trails very nearby for the mornings and evenings. Maples Bakery not to be missed. Beds were very comfortable. My 9 year old, who spent one night with us says: “I liked the lofts, they were cool and comfy, and I want to come back.”
We had a really nice 4 day stay at this property. The cabin is very nice with a great deck where you will spend most of your time. Kitchen has about everything you’ll need and was very clean. The bathrooms are modern. The property is in the Catskill Park and there are minimal shopping opportunities, so be sure to get food before you arrive. If you want peace and quiet this is the place.
This place was great from the moment we opened the door. A fantastic new construction home built right into the surrounding forest, it was serene, private, and a great getaway. This was by far the best outfitted kitchen I have ever seen in an Airbnb, which made cooking for everyone a breeze. The whole house was pristine and clean, and all the furniture was sleek and tasteful. The beds were also beyond comfortable–all the sheets were Brooklinen which was a premium experience. And the showers felt great (didn’t run out of hot water) and the hosts provided really nice, artisanal (and local!) shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Will definitely make staying here a more frequent occurrence when I want an escape from the CIty. 10/10 would recommend!
Great house all around and will certainly try to stay there again.

2. This is RIGHT on a very busy road and pulling out towards North Conway is very difficult. The listing didn’t show how close to the main road you are, but you are RIGHT there.

Our favorite AirBnB, family of 4 with 2 boys (11 and 13). With the brook steps away, there was always something to do. We spent hours swimming in the brook and rock hounding. Fighter jets did tricks overhead in the morning, it was such a treat, we couldn’t believe it! And we were even able to see some of the Perseids meteor shower on the one clear night we had. Magical! We hiked the Lowell Lake State Park pond trail, great hike with a cool Revolutionary War cemetery. Mountain biking at Stratton was SO MUCH FUN! The house was beautiful and zen. Didn’t think we would use sauna in August, but it was perfect after swimming. The downstairs bedroom had some cobwebs I cleaned off the ceiling. I don’t think people always sleep there, maybe cleaners skip it? Otherwise, in pristine condition. Awesome fire pit, stocked with wood. Awesome game room (poker, retro nintendo, bumper pool). Bring olive oil for cooking, but fully stocked kitchen. It is on a road, cars do pass, about 4 an hour. Love love
David’s house was an incredible meeting place for our reunion of friends. There were 12 of us (plus 5 kids under 2!), and we all slept comfortably in his home. Shout out to the fully stocked kitchen — it was perfect for cooking and eating big communal meals. The interior of the house is beautiful, and the land surrounding it was spectacular. Thanks David!
Great place to stay. The pictures do not do it justice. Even more beautiful in person tbh. The host was fast with responses whenever we had a question about something. They even provided me with the name of the comforter they use in the residence because my partner loved it so much lol. Would definitely stay here again.
Great place, very spacious, lots of games in the house and the ground floor game area allows you to separate the noisy competitors from the others that would prefer relaxing upstairs by the fire and on the deck. Secluded from neighbors and the main road, extremely quiet neighborhood, very little noise from the road. Huge front yard with fire pit and chairs surrounded by tons of greenery. I will definitely be back soon
Extremely cozy stay. Everything was super clean. It felt like home. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. Bedrooms were extremely clean and the master bathroom was amazing. Toilet with heated seat and a bidet. The amenities were top-notch. We LOVED the hot tub!! Especially after a long day of hiking. The view from the backyard is gorgeous. So serene and peaceful. We saw plenty of deer and even some turkeys. This place is a hidden gem. Thank you so much for having us, we will be back!
David’s place is truly special and comes equipped with so many amenities! We had everything we needed plus more (including stunning serveware)! The house and property is gorgeous. David was very responsive and helpful. His place is above and beyond and we’re already talking about coming back! My one suggestion would be to have an option to lock the house for guests who prefer it.
Our stay at the farmhouse was stellar from start to finish with an extremely easy check in process.

A short drive away you can find Callicoon center with excellent restaurants, breweries, distilleries right on UIpper Main St.
The house is extremely spacious offering logistically great common rooms for chilling with your entire group as well as enough rooms and bathrooms for everyone to have their own space.
It’s an excellent home away from home to disconnect in the Catskills with everything you might need for your stay including BBQ grill.

What a beautiful space. No detail was overlooked. We had everything we could have asked for and more. We were a multigenerational family with elderly grandparents and twenty something’s and in between ears. Everyone felt super comfortable. My in laws kept remarking on what a great choice I had made. We loved the walk to the Saco River. The house was in such excellent condition – exactly as pictured and equally inviting. I hope we have an opportunity to stay again. Thank you!!!
This property is exactly what I have been longing for since prior to Covid. It was so peaceful and relaxing! To be surrounded with nature and quiet beauty was so enjoyable! The house is decorated extremely well and appointed quite nicely! It should be noted though, that it is lacking in air conditioning. We only felt hot one day and night though. The kitchen had a great deal, but could use a few more cookie sheets/ trays. There are some minor repairs needed through out the home, but overall, it was just lovely, and immensely comfortable! Please don’t hesitate to book this property!
This air bnb was an absolute dream. Really felt like I was secluded in the forest, which helped set the mood for my couple days of writing. The building is spacious and modern, and the pictures don’t do justice to how large the windows are. Light streamed in from everywhere. The host was super proactive and kind which wasn’t even necessary because he sent foolproof instructions for us to access everything. Favorite part of my stay was the porch because it’s screened in, which meant I could feel like I was outside without getting the bug bites that usually comes with that. I’ll definitely be coming back in the near future!
Little River is a gem. Beautifully designed cabin, nestled by a private creek with a charming forrest view. From the unexpected bottle of wine from our hosts, to the ready-to-go firewood, to the tailored booklet with local attractions, every detail was thoughtfully designed. We couldn’t have picked a better spot for our anniversary!
This house was a great find! Not only was the host very responsive, they were ahead of the game by making sure I knew all the ins and outs before checking in. My only suggestion would be to add (unless it’s there and I missed it) would be to add that road leading up is a little bit of “off roading” for when the weather isn’t as nice. It should also be listed that the one bedroom does not have an AC unit in the window. Otherwise, the house was clean, a lot of activities, and easy to get to. My favorite part, lots of yard for my dog to run and explore!! I felt like we found a great place for a great place and definitely looking forward to renting it again on our annual trip to the area.
We had a great stay at Red Cottage. The house itself was cozy, beautifully decorated, and surrounded by nature. Really nice relaxing getaway with friends.

The house wasn’t stocked with essentials like salt or coffee, which was frustrating as shops aren’t that close to the accommodation and were closed in the evening when we arrived – after already having done a grocery shop. We found appliances not properly cleaned, two of which had living bugs and mold inside, as well as dirty crockery in the cupboards. We let the company know during our stay but unfortunately found their response dismissive and indifferent.

The house wasn’t stocked with essentials like salt or coffee, which was frustrating as shops aren’t that close to the accommodation and were closed in the evening when we arrived – after already having done a grocery shop. We found appliances not properly cleaned, two of which had living bugs and mold inside, as well as dirty crockery in the cupboards. We let the company know during our stay but unfortunately found their response dismissive and indifferent.
Our family stayed here for a family wedding and it was a joy. It was clean with the light from many windows. The great number of bedrooms allowed for a space for everyone, the teens were upstairs and the adults elsewhere. there is a delightful porch and I love the little swing, and a large deck with different levels. The kids enjoyed the firepit and smore’s. You can hear the stream flowing all night and it is a very restful and calming sound. You can even see a little waterfall and deer. The house is close to Callicoon, a very quaint and yet lively town with enough places to eat and shop and roam around. It is within easy walking distance. Overall the house affords a lovely vacation. And the owners are extremely helpful and pleasnt and respond immediately. I highly recommend a stay at the Gables.
Our stay was amazing! We stayed at the property in August and here are my thoughts:
– Property is quiet and private and there weren’t that many mosquitoes considering the wooded area in mid summer.
-Amazing for star gazing. We happened to get to see the Perseid meteor shower from the yard!
-Super clean property. There are no shoes permitted inside so bring a pair of indoor shoes if you pefer.
-Just a note that the provided crib is actually a pack and play but our 6 month old slept really well in it.
-The propane grill on the deck is massive and works very well.
– Driveway can fit several cars the one attached garage spot was large enough to fit a pickup truck.
– Interior of the home is spacious and modern with large bedrooms and bathrooms.
– The landscaping was beautiful. The art work and books were a nice touch.
Not much else to say. We highly recommend this property if you are visiting the Berkshires. Property exceeds expectations and host is super responsive.
