The home is well furnished with attention to details, kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils & appliances, and the view is breathing at all times. Overall, our stay at Birch & Buck is 5/5 and will be back again.
Extremely charming, well furnished, quiet, with a great hot tub (and tub in the bedroom to boot). You absolutely need an AWD/4WD vehicle to get here in winter, though – the last 3/4-mile may not be plowed, and once you’re there, you may not want to leave! But for a quiet, isolated place it’s just fantastic.
The PostHaus is charming. Beautifully decorated and maintained. It was very clean, had all the necessary amenities plus many thoughtful touches, and is in a beautiful setting. The hosts were responsive and kindly checked on us given the stormy weather. The location made for easy access to the Stratton without having to encounter the main mountain route traffic.

A great stay at the tiny house! Check in was easy with the keypad. The house was very clean and toasty warm inside for the entire stay despite chilly winter temperatures outside. The layout is very well designed and there’s plenty of kitchen space to do some cooking. The electric fireplace was a nice touch for winter ambience. Mattress was comfortable and there was plenty of space in the loft. Hosts were very responsive if you have any questions. Overall would stay here again!
Management and the owners were incredibly responsive and helpful when needed. The house was beautiful, spacious, and had everything we needed for an incredible stay. The house is fantastic in the winter and we can only imagine how great it will be in the summertime with the tennis court and pool availabilty.
My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our stay and did not want it to end. The cabin is far enough back in the woods to where we felt remote and super cozy. Also, the view of the Delaware River and mountains form the windows was beautiful. I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for peace and quiet.
Beautiful, modern tiny house property in a serene area that was perfect for a getaway. We picked this rental because it had all the modern conveniences and amenities of home, while being able to escape away to the coziness of the woods. Peaceful surroundings, and you can hear the nearby river, too. Hosts were communicative, friendly, and responsive, which was greatly appreciated. They proactively provided all the info and instructions we would need about the property and the local area.
This is my favorite AirBNB in NY. We booked Alana and Lauren’s place for 9 nights for a much needed respite during the holiday season. The place was beautifully designed and decorated! It felt like an upscale cabin with the most thoughtful details. Loved that it was sprinkled with all sorts of books! The small kitchen surprised me with all the culinary tools it was stocked with. The property and outdoor amenities were so amazing, even in the winter. The driveway is right off a road, but still felt secluded and peaceful. The river in the back provided a relaxing ambience, drinking morning coffees. I really appreciated Alana’s quick responses to all of my questions and concerns before and during the trip. It was perfect for the two of us, but could see it being a tight fit for four or more adults. I suspect in warmer months the outdoor space would make it more comfortable with more room to spread out. Highly recommend!!!!
Gorgeous home tucked in a wonderful country setting. Inside, the open layout is immaculate, super clean, and offered our family of 8 plenty of room to gather and relax. Additionally, the home is an easy ride to Stowe Mountain and town. Erica was pleasant and responsive to our needs. What a wonderful 3 nights!
The house was great, just as described in the listing. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the hot tub and utilized the two living rooms when half our group wanted to watch one thing and the other half wanted to watch something else. The fire pit was fun, but there was ice frozen in the bottom, so a cover might help with keeping it usable in the winter. Overall it was a nice relaxing weekend getaway!
Beautiful space, great for our group of three couples. Lots of different spaces to hang out in as a group or break into smaller groups. Excellent kitchen with all the stuff for cooking. Comfortable beds. It was too cold but the outdoor spaces looked great too. It’s on a main road that connects and turns into Livingston Manors main street. In the winter this was good as it was easily accessible.
This property has everything, and I mean everything. From an in-house installed music system where you can have music playing inside and out, ice machine, all the best appliances if you are making food, so so so much space, bathrooms in each bedroom except for what seemed like a kids room with bunkbeds, walking trails, a lake, fireplace, TV, amazingly soft beds and sheets/blankets, it was all so amazing. Communication was great with ownership, they answered all my questions within an hour while we were there, and within 24 hours leading up to the trip. Could not suggest enough. We can’t wait to come back when the pool is open, its a vacation spot all in itself!!
Casa Magda was a great spot for our family winter vacation. Close to many of the restaurants and activities. House was modern and the property was beautiful. We sat by the fire every night and roasted marshmallows. Many great things to do in Windham besides skiing… we made a knit hat at the Knitting Room, we went tubing, ice skating, to the And Hof Farm… we ate in Windham and Tannersville… so many great spots, the Deer Mountain Inn, Scribners, The Wyld, .. even the Windham Diner and Windham Pizzeria were fantastic. Enjoyed the Magic show on Main Street too! Casa Magda is an easy choice, enjoy!
Un lugar mágico, una casa rica en arquitectura , cada lugar es especial, cuarto ppal es una suite perfecta, vista 360, la casa tiene una energía unica y te permite disfrutar de cocinar y compartir, la sala con su chimenea es para estar tomando vino y disfrutar, los alrededores son naturaleza pura. Nada te hara falta, y en mi caso la temporada fue invierno y fue maravilloso, pisos climatizados, un sun room con chimenea bello, puedes pasar el día jugando ajedrez y tomando una buena botella de vino blanco, el jacuzi siempre listo ! My family, friends, and I had a wonderful time at the Nordic cabin. The cabin was beautiful, clean, well-equipped, and easy to find. The surrounding area is lovely, and we thoroughly felt at home. The house is cozy and homey. We all had an excellent experience cooking, playing games, watching movies, and sitting around the fire reading; the property manager, Posto, was accommodating and always responsive. We felt well looked after and had a peaceful and beautiful 11 days in Chatham. Thank you so much for making our stay perfect. I would highly recommend the house! We are excited to return to the area soon.
Poor snow is a risk of December skiing in VT, but the comforts of this beautiful house with all of the amenities you’d want made hanging out at home with a book, or a leisurely day exploring the village a pleasant alternative.
Although it would have been fun to sample more of the local restaurants, with young kids we elected to cook at home frequently and the large, well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed.
And the hosts were helpful and rapidly responded to the few minor maintenance issues we encountered (pocket door jumped its track, coffee maker died).

My stay at hilltop was a truly incredible experience. The property was completely secluded and offered breathtaking views of the catskill mountains. The hot tub was a great added bonus when it came to taking in the stunning night sky!
