Lindsay was a consummate hostess and we had a wonderful wintry weekend getaway for my b-day in Hudson! Her house is perfectly located a few minutes’ walk from the Amtrak station. It’s also just around the block from our favorite retail shop in town (2 Note) and minutes from excellent food and drink.
We took great advantage of the fireplace — we spent many hours warming ourselves by the flames, sipping on whiskey, and playing board games. The bathroom is also well-appointed with a glorious rainfall showerhead and a freestanding bathtub. Bonus points for getting to dry off with warmed plush towels. We loved our stay at Lindsay’s and will hopefully make it back up to Hudson again soon!
