My family went here for the weekend to go skiing. There was a snow storm the day we arrived so the driveway was unplowed. The Hosts sent someone out to plow it and gave us some money back for the inconvenience. Their proactive approach was great and very appreciated. The house was beautiful and was great for large groups. Everything was very clean and well decorated. My family and I had a great time and it was beautiful.
The red cottage was very secluded, perfect weekend get away, spacious gourmet kitchen and eating area for group dinners. The cabin has a nice lay out for multiple couples.
This cottage is honestly beautiful! The pictures match exactly. The bed was one of the softest beds I’ve ever slept on. The owner was very responsive and flexible. The kitchen stove was a bit tricky to work but the owner was helpful in explaining what to do. My only negative was the t.v remote buttons didn’t work so we couldn’t watch t.v for a whole day. The owner tried their best to give troubleshooting tips via text but we ultimately needed more help. The next day two individuals came to help us reset everything and the remote was back to working again. It showed how much the owners cared about us having a proper experience. Overall, I’d love to come back to this cottage!
This cottage was even better than the pictures! Such great details and charm – plenty of space and cozy at the same time. Wood-burning stove perfect for the winter. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and spacious bathrooms. Location was convenient and very close to Saugerties. Super responsive and helpful host as well. Would highly recommend!
Beautiful recently renovated space with old-Vermont charm. Large kitchen and dining space big enough for two families. Kitchen & living room fully equipped with all things a family would need to survive a snowy weekend – coffee, snacks, games. Beds were very comfortable. Showers had hot water (but low pressure, common for Vermont houses), soft towels, and provided soaps. Old-school oven and dishwasher are in like-new condition and reminded us of our childhood homes 🙂
Walkable to trails for snow shoeing and hiking. Bromley super close. Located on a small uphill driveway that was perfect for the kids to go sledding on. Would stay again!

I escaped the city for a long weekend at Stonebridge Hideaway and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect winter getaway! The cabin is beautifully designed and decorated, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel relaxed. During my stay, I experienced a heavy snowstorm, and the cabin was the perfect place to curl up, listen to records, and watch the snowfall.
The kitchen is incredibly well-equipped, and I enjoyed cooking meals and enjoying them at the dining table with its views of the forest. The bedrooms were all comfortable, and the upstairs suite was a particularly nice retreat with its own lounge and office space.

A hidden gem with a beautiful outdoor setting, perfect for relaxation. The private environment makes it feel like a true escape, while the lovely and cozy interior decor adds warmth and charm. Communication with the host was seamless and prompt, which made our stay even more enjoyable. An ideal spot for a peaceful getaway!
We had such a great stay at what we affectionately called our “lake house”. The house was such a beautiful combination of original charm and modern sophistication. It was a wonderful home base for a weekend exploring Narrowsburg and the surrounding area. We loved being able to walk right into town for a morning coffee or dinner reservation. We visited in winter, but I imagine the backyard makes people’s visit even more enjoyable with the many spaces to relax, eat, or sit around a fire. We might just have to come back to see for ourselves!
Responsive hosts and great house!
The property was even more beautiful in person then they are in the pictures. My significant other and I spent our Valentine’s Day weekend at this amazing place and as soon as we arrived we felt disconnected from the world. The surroundings were amazing and the home was extremely comforting. It certainly gives a unique feel that you won’t get anywhere else. The host was also always very responsive to any questions we might have had and was always communicating when needed. We would recommend this home to anybody and look forward to coming back again in the future.
We had a mostly lovely time staying at this beautiful house in the woods. The views were impeccable, the kitchen was well stocked with high end, useful tools, and the location was exactly what we were looking for (remote feeling but close enough to conveniences). We were somewhat disappointed by our inability to use the downstairs (where the queen sized bed and family room was) for the majority of our trip due to the heat taking several days to warm up the space. The host did send the caretaker over but there wasn’t much he could do. Other than that, they helped clear the walk and driveway when we were hit by a snowstorm which was very much appreciated. All in all, it’s a gorgeous location, it just needs a little extra attention before guests arrive from its hosts in the winter time.
Our stay at David’s place was absolutely amazing! The house was cozy, well-designed, and offered stunning views. We especially loved the lower level with the pool table—it became a favorite hangout spot for our group.

Lovely stay.
Main floor layout is a bit funky with essentially two dining rooms (one too many?) but only a small living room overlooking the front entrance / garage.
That said, we managed to very comfortably fit three couples and respective babies / kid notwithstanding a severe snow/wind storm (thank you generator).

We had a beautiful time and loved our stay! The house was gorgeous and roomy. We loved the space and how thoughtful everything was. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking tools you could need. Everything. was clean and well taken care of. There as also tons of games and things to do. We were there in a. but of snow storm and someone came in to clear the driveway and ensure we had an easy time getting out. Truly loved the place and hosts. Host was super responsive and helpful. Would book again and recommend to all!
The Red Cottage hosted my family of four for a weekend ski trip. Freezing rain kept us indoors more than we’d hoped but we still had a lovely time hanging out by the fireplace. The host was communicative and generous, and we had no trouble making ourselves at home. Everything we needed was easy to find.
We really enjoyed our stay and the location was quiet and peaceful within a decent enough drive to Stratton for our ski weekend. The house had some fun amenities like an old school nintendo, puzzles and board games. The fireplace was by far the easiest to operate we’ve ever used and made great fires that kept the house very warm!
The kids had a fun time exploring. This is really a converted barn, not a house decorated to look like a barn. The fireplace, pool table, and sauna were great. The yard is large and the kids had fun snowball fights. Very close to Belleayre mountain. Heating through the barn in winter is a little uneven (some bedrooms were warmer than others).
We had the best time at your beautiful cabin and didn’t want to leave! It’s even nicer in person. So cozy and beautiful! It’s exactly what our family needed. We’ve stayed in many homes and none of them were as equipped as your cabin. Tons of pots and pans, utensils, cups, plates, even Tupperware containers. Down to a stopper for our Prosecco.

A nice individual condo under the main house, perfect for a trip with friends to one of the nearby mountains. Incredible views from either your room or the hot tub.
