Perfect for an extended family getaway. The downstairs space was

Perfect for an extended family getaway. The downstairs space was great for the kids, as was the creek on the property for exploring. Home felt larger than appears in photos, our group had plenty of room. The screened porch was a favorite area for adults and kitchen/dining area really great for meals with 10+ people. Very close to Calicoon downtown and Seminary Hill when we wanted to get out. Property is very private for when we wanted to be more secluded.

We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was very clean and well stocked. The cabin has a nice pond in the backyard and felt secluded even though it was near other houses. Enjoyed seeing the deer and chipmunks in the yard. Great stay!

This was our 3rd time at the Village Retreat, and we had another wonderful stay. The home is beautifully decorated with so many great little details. It is comfortable and so well laid out. The kitchen is made for anyone who likes to cook. Can't wait to return!

Easy and clean rental. We didn’t cook or really use the house much, just slept there to be near our friends place where we spent most of our time. But we loved the location and access to perch lake. Communication was excellent throughout. Overall a great weekend away!

looks even better than the photos, the views are amazing! the house was perfect for our party of 10 people~ spacious, clean, full amenities. easy check-in and check-out. the hosts are incredibly responsive and answered all the questions we had immediately. 10/10 would book again next time we're in town!

A beautiful, charming cabin surrounded by trees! Our 3 year old & 11 month adored the steep steps to the upstairs bedrooms which other parents should be mindful of. Otherwise, the perfect reprieve from bustling city life. We loved it!!!

The house is stunning- even more beautiful in person! It was the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation with a group of friends. The location is great with hiking, boating and great restaurants nearby. We loved being able to bring our dogs and let them run around the fenced yard. When we noticed the propane tanks for the grill were empty the hosts responded right away and got us new tanks that night. The pool was great to have as we had some 95+ degree days. Overall an amazing stay!
